*** Sale-a-Bration is the best time to purchase prepaid subscriptions because you get perks… You get a Sale-a-Bration item for every $50 you spend in ADDITION to the savings with the 6 and 12-month prepaids. Many dedicated subscribers purchase their 12-month prepaids at this time of year. And not to worry if your subscription is automatic and you already have a credit card in the system. The code that you will get after purchasing your prepaid (once added into your account) will override your credit card each month for the time frame of your prepaid. Your card won’t get charged during that time period. EVERYONE can take advantage of Paper Pumpkin prepaids! So I encourage you to consider purchasing a prepaid that during Sale-a-Bration. You can get free Sale-A-Bration items with a 3, 6 or 12-month prepaid. You always save money on the 6 and 12-month ones, but from January 3 – March 31, you can earn freebies. You just pay the additional $6.95 shipping if there is nothing else you are adding to your prepaid order. So if you get a 12 month prepaid, you’d pay $215 plus tax. And then you’d get 4 SAB items and $21.50 in stampin’ rewards (free items of your choice) for the additional $6.95 shipping. If you added other merchandise to your prepaid order, the shipping costs could change. So if you ordered a 3-month for $59 US and then added another $91 in product, then you’d pay $59 + tax and $91 + $9.10 s/h + tax and you’d get 3 SAB items because you have $150 in merchandise, AND you’d get $15 in free merchandise. If you only purchased a $59 3-month prepaid, you’d get to choose one SAB item and pay the additional $6.95 shipping. Every order in the US has a minimum $6.95 shipping if there is product other than the Paper Pumpkin prepaids included in it. And if you are purchasing the 12-month, I would recommend bumping the order to $250. Then you would get an extra $25 free so a total $50 free plus 5 Sale-A-Bration items!
Sale-A-Bration 2018 (January 3 through March 31) is THE BEST time of the Stampin’ Up! year for everyone! Click here to learn about this spectacular promotion and how you can benefit by earning free product and more.

The July 2017 Paper Pumpkin kit was waiting for me when I got home from my Thailand/Germany travels – FUN MAIL! And this past week I was able to play and create a few alternate projects. I hope you enjoy what I came up with.
Watch the video first to get tips, measurements and directions. Then scroll down to see close-up photos of the projects and a list of extra supplies I used to make them.
Here are photos of the projects I shared in my video.

I still plan to create more projects that I will share later here on my blog. AND my extra exclusive project ideas for my personal Paper Pumpkin subscribers are almost ready to send out. So I'm not quite done with my kit yet. But I hope you enjoyed what I had to share today. Thanks for visiting!
My project today is a simple accordion mini album.
Here are a few details that should help if you wish to recreate this project. By the way, MOST of these items are retiring soon. So if you want to get anything shown, I recommend doing it sooner than later before it may become sold out.
Whisper White Cardstock: 14 pieces that are 3-1/2" x 3-1/2", scraps for stamping and die-cutting floral images, 4" x 1" for title on the cover
Mint Macaron Cardstock: 3 pieces that are 5-5/8" x 3-3/4", 8" x 3" or scraps for die-cutting flowers
Tip Top Taupe Cardstock: 12" x 4" scored in 5-7/8" from each end for the cover, 3 pieces that are 12" x 3-3/4" scored in a 5-3/4" from one end and 1/2" from the other end
Succulent Garden Designer Paper: 5-3/8" x 3-1/2" of Sweet Sugarplum checkerboard design for cover, 4 pieces of colorful floral design that are 2" x 3-1/2", 4 pieces of mint floral design that are 2" x 3-1/2", 4 pieces of Sweet Sugarplum checkerboard design that are 2" x 3-1/2"
Sweet Sugarplum Succulent Garden Ribbon: 28"
Prepare all your pieces first: stamp and die-cut all your floral embellishments, die-cut & sponge your Mint Macaron solid flowers (curl petals with bone folder), punch and stamp Whisper White title piece, and have all papers and cardstock cut and scored
Zig-zag fold the 3 smaller pieces of taupe. Put tear & tape along the 1/2" section.
Then the connect them, first position them inside the cover the way they will go…
…and slowly lift up the right side of one section at a time to remove the backing on the tape and connect the pieces.
Close up the album and wrap around the ribbon as shown so that the middle of the ribbon is positioned at the fold (or the "binding") of the album. Use adhesive to secure the ribbon the the front. (Don't put any adhesive on the back.)
Add the mint and designer paper cover pieces.
Then add the rest of the papers and embellishments to the inside pages as shown.
I didn't use any Dimensionals to add the inside embellishments. And I mad sure that I didn't have any adhesives behind these flowers where photos would be going.
Here are more photos so you can see how I laid out the inside page pieces.
And this is how it closes up!
Time to decorate the front.
Layer together the sponges, curled Mint Macaron die-cut flowers using Glue Dots and/or Fast Fuse. (Oh! and be sure to add two really small ones to the center. I didn't have those shown in the first photo of prepped supplies.)
Use Fast Fuse to attach the mint flower to the cover. Use Dimensionals and Fast Fuse and/or Glue Dots to add the title banner. Then use Fast Fuse to add the extra flower embellishments.

My "outside the box" Paper Pumpkin kit projects are coming to you much later than I had hoped. So sorry about the delay! I guess there is more work involved in installing new flooring and changing out 3 rooms in a house than I had thought. 😉 Plus, February was a short month, so really these ideas are coming to you on the 6th or 7th which seems WAY better than the 9th! LOL
Well…better late than never, right?
I hope you like what I created with the February 2017 Many Happy Birthdays kit. I did one video this time, but it's got some fun ideas in it. Hopefully you'll think it's worth the 35 minutes. Just grab a snack.
This is what you'll find in my video…

Prepaid subscriptions are another way to get in on the fun. You purchase 1, 3, 6 or 12 months all at once, enter your prepaid code into your Paper Pumpkin account (you will get an email after purchasing that gives instructions for this), and then enjoy each month for the number of months you purchased.
I colored the little pearls with the red Sharpie marker before adding them to the tree.
I created a coordinating page for this, but it's part of the collection of exclusive project ideas that I send my personal Paper Pumpkin subscribers each month. (So only my subscribers have access to it. Sorry if you are not.) Below is a sampling of these extra exclusive ideas that I share with my subscribers. The image in the lower left corner is from the matching page to the one above.

What a fabulous kit! The December 2015 Paper Pumpkin kit is a beautiful 2016 desktop calendar. Were you a subscriber last month? Did you get one?
For every month's kit I take the contents and share with you "outside the box" creations – alternate project ideas! This month I came up with several scrapbook pages (traditional and Project Life), a few cards, a decorated jar and a photo display.
Here is my video tutorial for this month.
Here are close-up photos of the projects I created from this kit that are shown in this video.
I didn't do much altering. These calendar pieces are so beautiful already. Trimmed a bit and mounted onto a folded piece of cardstock…great card. Just circle a specific date (birthday, anniversary, wedding, holiday…), and you have the perfect personalized card.
Because the base card stock in the kit is 4" x 6" AND is super sturdy, you can create several folded 3" x 3" note cards.
PROJECT LIFE ALBUM IDEA – 12X12
Scrapbook a year's worth of photos. The calendar cards AS IS are perfect and fit into the Project Life 4" x 6" pockets perfectly!
PROJECT LIFE ALBUM IDEA – 6X8
Or… make a mini album and cut the base cardstock down to 3" x 4" for the smaller Project Life page pockets.
Here is a quick visual for how to do the twine/thread loops in a more controlled way. Plus you won't use up as much of it.
Just put a photo where the black cardstock is, and you have the perfect decorative display for your monthly photos. Change out for different months, or just display a favorite happening from a specific time of the year.
Be sure to keep adhesive away from where the photo will be. Place your Dimensionals under the floral frame piece just where the ribbon it, so you can add your photo easily.
12 X 12 TRADITIONAL SCRAPBOOK PAGE
You could do a year's worth of scrapbooking in a traditional page format.
DECORATED JAM/JELLY JAR
If you like to can or make homemade jams and jellies, this kit is perfect for decorating the jars.
12 X 12 TRADITIONAL SCRAPBOOK PAGE LAYOUT
The scrap pieces make fabulous photo frames for small school pictures. This page layout is perfect for displaying kindergarten through 12th grade school photos!
Keep the top and bottom parts of the white frames adhesive-free so you can just slip in your photos.
I printed my title onto cardstock from my computer. Then I just trimmed around it to make it into a banner shape.
This was the first thing I make with this kit. The stamps were already so nice and neat on the plastic sheet (and in the perfect order), so I mounted them all at once onto clear block E and stamped them all at once.
