Nicholas is going into surgery today to have his pins removed from his left patella bone. (He broke his left knee cap when he took a fall in our garage back in the spring.) Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. The surgery is scheduled for noon Central Time. And even though he told me last night that he isn’t nervous, this mama is.
I created today’s paper crafting project with two of the five new, exclusive, limited-time products that are currently just available to demonstrators (and to those getting the starter kit this month) but will become available to all during the month of November: the Happiness Surrounds stamp set and the the coordinating set of dies, Snowfall Thinlits.
I used the swirling snowflake die-cut image in Granny Apple Green as a swirling branch image. The little sections of snowflakes peeking out between the petals of the flowers have the appearance of leaves.
I used only two purple inks – Highland Heather & Gorgeous Grape. But I stamped without re-inking to get the many shades of each color. The accents in the flowers and along the branch are from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and the Glitter Enamel Dots.
