I won’t be going live today on YouTube. But I DO have some fun cards to share with you in today’s blog post.
I flew out to Raleigh, North Carolina yesterday. Stampin’ Up!’s convention, OnStage begins Thursday. And our team event is tonight. We have a good size group here. So Susan Campfield and I rented room space at the convention center for our team to gather, connect, create, share, swap, and take group photos. We are so excited and can’t wait for the fun to begin! And we are super happy that our team event will be at the start of OnStage rather than at the end like last year.
In the planning for the event, we designed a few different cards using products from the new Lovely Garden Suite. I’m not sharing those with you yet, because that would spoil the surprise for those attending tonight. But I am sharing one of the cards we didn’t choose. It’s quite simple, but it’s also very eye-catching. In fact after creating it, I wanted to see how that pattern would work with other papers and products. So I kept creating and came up with three MORE cards. I’d love to know if you have a favorite. Comment below by the end of the week. And on Sunday when I get home, I will draw a random name from those who commented and that person will win a small prize.

Basic White Cardstock

Tips…
Adhere the top and bottom designer papers first 5/8″ from the outer edges of the white base.
Add the middle layered stamped section with Dimensionals while also tucking and adhering accent cardstock pieces in and around.
Then finish the front design by adding embellishments.
On the inside adhere the top and bottom designer papers about 5/8″ from the outer edges of the white base.

On December 4th I shared some Cut & Shuffle cards that I made with products from the Regal Winter Suite. And in that instructional video I showed the start of another set that I prepared with sheets from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper pack.
Well…ta-da! I finished those cards!!
I hope you like them. I really had fun adding the spray of dots with the speckle stamp image and the Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix Sequins.

3-3/4” x 5” (one of each color, so you might as well make 6 cards like I did)
Scrap for stamping and die-cutting butterfly
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock

First you’ll want to watch the instructional video from December 4th. Then after creating the base layers and gluing or taping everything into place, add the white die-cut butterfly shapes and sentiment labels. Stamp, die-cut, and add the purple butterflies using just a thin line of glue behind the butterfly bodies (not the wings). Prop up the wings.
Add this layer to the Soft Sea Foam layer with Dimensionals. Add this whole thing to the card base. Glue on the sequins and stamp the speckle image with the coordinating inks.
So fun, right?!

I have some Joy Fold cards (and more rainbow cards) to share with you today!
I designed & created the purple Joy Fold card first. It was the card I used for my Silver Elite Retreat invitation. This event was held last weekend. And in the coming days, I’ll be sharing photos from that event and projects that we made together. So stay tuned! Then I designed & created the three others also featuring the Bloom Impressions paper (the three in the bottom row of this photo) for my pre-recorded presentation/demonstration for fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Kevin Theesen’s Winter Retreat which was also last weekend. Have you ever made a card from a bag? I decided to try it and I’m in love with the results.
The fun fold card is made from the larger bag. So I also made a matching treat holder with the smaller bag. (These gift bags are sold together and are part of the suite. But you can buy them separately.)

When the flaps of the bags are shut, the bag shape will be more like a purse (in the shape of a triangular prism). So keep that in mind when planning what you’ll put inside. The base measures about 1-3/4″ x 3-1/4″. The height is about 3-1/2″.
Decorating the envelopes is optional, but so much fun!

Welcome to our All Star monthly blog hop for the Regal Winter Suite! We are excited to share even MORE ideas than what we are offering in our exclusive Video Class Bundle this month.
I thought it would be fun to share a simple background building technique with you today – the Cut & Shuffle technique. There are a couple ways of approaching this. You can get crazy with it with one of the approaches. The finished cards that are featured in these photos feature the more difficult approach. But I have tips for making it a bit less stressful to build.
I used the stamps, dies, and designer paper from the Regal Winter Suite, some pearl embellishments, some coordinating inks for the flowers, and a few other coordinating Stampin’ Up!® products. But you can totally take this technique and apply it to so many other products (as you’ll see with the Beautiful Bokeh paper debuting 1/7/25).

Basic White Cardstock
(3) 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4”
(3) 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”
Scraps for stamping and die-cutting images
(3) strips that are 3/4” high
Designer Papers
(3 patterns, one of each) 3-3/4” x 5”
Here are photos of the finished cards.
You can see from this photo that they all were cut from three stacked pieces of patterned paper. I just turned them to make the overlying image and sentiment strip look the best.
And to simplify and make it easier (especially when cutting into several pieces and in different directions), don’t leave a gap between the patterned paper pieces (as shown in these two photos).
For some added elegance, add Wink of Stella and pearls to the flower centers.
