A big thank you to Dawn Klomen who shared this video from Sam Calcott and asked me to modify the measurements to make this fun fold fit Stampin’ Up!’s A2 size envelopes.
I love math! So it was fun to come up with this and share it with my members.
And you can see in this photo below how it collapses to a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card. Yay!

My son’s friend Eli made some cards in my studio last night. I coached him, but he picked out the images/papers, colors, sentiments, and embellishments and made decisions on the layout and overall design.
One is for his dad and one is for his mom. He learned how to stamp, die-cut, punch, use various adhesives, cut with the Trimmer, add embellishments with the Take Your Pick Tool, and fix mistakes.
And didn’t he do a great job!?

Measurements for one card…
Sheet #1 (6 images on one side, green checkerboard on the other)
Use the divisions on the 6 images side: 2” x 3” pieces
Sheet #2 (hanging ornaments on one side, soft green pattern on the other)
Use the divisions on the ornament side: 4” x 4-1/4” & 2” x 4-1/4” then two 1-3/4” x 3”
Sheet #3 (garland arch on one side, leaves/berries on the other)
Use the divisions on the garland side: 4” x 4-1/4” & 2” x 4-1/4” then two 1-3/4” x 3”

If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own. Yesterday during my free Online Paper Crafting Class on Youtube I shared how to create a 3D advent calendar using the Traditions of Christmas Designer Paper, Keeping Traditions Sticker Sheet, boxes made from Basic White Cardstock, and more. It’s a project that will take a bit of time to put together, but you can bring it out and use it year after year! After the video, I shared what I made with my dad. He was impressed! So I filled the boxes and gave it to him to take home so he could have a sweet treat each day in December.
We were lucky—my parents were visiting! And although we’ll see them again next week for Thanksgiving, it was such a blessing to have these extra couple of days together. Last night we all went out to White Rabbit Kitchen in Andover. It was our first time there, and oh my goodness…the food was fabulous!
I hadn’t done anything special to celebrate my recent achievements and recognitions (ones I had shared in my November 14th post) because things were a bit busy before and after the trip to the BackStage Leadership conference in Las Vegas. So this dinner was my official celebration night out. And it was quite enjoyable.
Oh! I also have something else fun to share. Shortly after getting back from Las Vegas, Nancy and Kayla — two demonstrators on my team who also attended BackStage — invited me to join them at a place called Upstairs Circus. It’s a creative studio in Minneapolis where you pick a project to make and take home. And yes…mimosas were optional! 😄
I made this pretty bead & leather wrap bracelet! It was a wonderfully relaxing way to enjoy our Sunday.
