Today I’m sharing the make-n-take project that I presented during my last demonstrator team Connect, Create & Share event on February 1st. I sent everyone participating a similar pack of supplies. (I say “similar” because budget-wise I had to send out different combos of the Nature Walk designer paper.) And then at the Zoom event I demonstrated and/or explained how to turn those supplies into a variety of different card layouts.
In the days that followed people shared their finished creations in our team Facebook group album. Many chose to follow the pattern of my first design that I showed (the first one I’m sharing today) since that was the one that I demonstrated in more detail from start to finish. Some followed another pattern I presented. Some used different but similar product. Some added extra touches like inking or embossing. It was so fun to see all the variations!
It truly is incredible how the same supplies can create so many different looks! So I’m going to walk you through those same variations today.
I also just received my February Product of the Month (POM)* yesterday! So during my instructional video you’ll see that pretty Painted Illusions Paper in a couple card samples, too.
Be sure to watch my instructional video by clicking here* for measurements, tips and directions (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it), scroll through the photos that follow, check out the products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed all the card variations I shared in this video. And wasn’t it fun to see the the new product and the new Stampin’ Positioner in action too?! As I mentioned in the video, the newer products debut March 3. And the Stampin’ Positioner (a $49 value!) is a FREE gift for those purchasing the Starter Kit this month through March 2.
Below are photos of all the cards I shared and a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find them in my online store). I invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can get updates when I share and go live.

(If you come up with one, I’d love to see your design! Please post it in my Stamp Your Art Out Group on Facebook and tag me so I see it.)
Do you have a favorite? Feel free to leave me a comment below. OH! And here is the version of this last card using the new Painted Illusions February POM Designer Paper.
These are the cards that I created with the help of the new Stampin’ Positioner. This first one I demonstrated in my Live on 1/28/26. I used the new A Rainbow of Thanks Stamp Set which becomes available March 3.
This is one I shared how to make at the end of today’s Live. It features the beautiful new Painted Illusions February POM Designer Paper available now for $5 with a $75 order AND the new Cutest Crew Bundle which becomes available March 3.
I’ve included an extra product list below for these additional “currently available” products I used to make these two cards. I hope you had fun today and gained some creative inspiration.

These cards and boxes are some of the make and take projects from my January 2026 Silver Elite Retreat. Be sure to check out my 1/28/26 post for photos & instructions for the fun fold cards we also made at this Silver Elite Retreat. And stay tuned as I have an upcoming post where I will be sharing the gifts I gave. (Again…again a HUGE congrats to the achievers/attendees of this event, Cheryl Lee and mother/daughter team Nancy Forsberg & Kayla Cory!)
I went live on YouTube last night. It was an exclusive members-only Live for my aRT Supporter members. I walked them through how to put together these cards and gift boxes using products from the Cute As a Bug Suite, the Banner Greetings Stamp Set & coordinating Three Banner Punch, some Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, and a few other Stampin’ Up!® products. (You will find a full product list below.)
We started with the box.
Here are the starter measurements. For the instructional video (and for many other past and future members-only tutorial videos), I invite you to sign up to be an aRT Supporter member of my channel. And a big thank you to those of you who ARE members. Your membership helps to fund lighting, tech equipment, staff, products, and more.
BeginningMeasurements…
Basic White Thick Cardstock:
11-5/8″ x 11-1/2″ first scored parallel to the 11-5/8″ edge at 2-3/4″, 3-1/2″, 8-1/8″, and 8-7/8″ then scored parallel to the 11-1/2″ edge at 1-1/2″, 2-1/4″, 9-1/4″ and 10″
3/4″ x about 3-1/2″ for sentiment piece
Cute As a Bug Designer Paper (red/white or leaves):
4-3/8″ tall x 7-3/4″ wide (1/2 trimmed off each side for sides of box)
Cute As a Bug Designer Paper (berries or mushrooms):
3″ tall x 6-3/4″ wide (1/2 trimmed off top for top edge of flap)
Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim:
about 8″
Here is the leaves/mushrooms version of the box.
Then I explained how I made the cards using the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes, the sheet in the designer paper that has 3×4 and 4×6 sectioned off sections, die-cut images from one of the other sheets of designer paper, and the stamped and punched sentiments. They are VERY simple cards to make.

Here are a few of the photos of the fun we had creating while at this year’s Silver Elite Retreat. I’ll share the rest in my upcoming post where I show off the gifts.
Cheryl with her completed cards/box. Yay!
Kayla working on a few of the cards.
Nancy caught in a laugh while working on her panel card.
And Cheryl coloring with Blends. At this point I realized I forgot to give her Grid Paper. And she laughed and said that was why she had the black cardstock underneath.
Stay tuned for one more post where I’ll share all the fun gifts I gave to these amazing gals! And thanks for checking out what I had to share. I hope I inspired your creativity! 🦋

I just hosted my 9th annual Silver Elite Retreat! So I have the event make & take projects to share with you today. I was also able to preorder March Online Exclusives & the new Stampin’ Positioner last week. So I have those to share with you as well. It’s a lot of content into today’s blog post. Yay!
I’ll show photos from the retreat in a future blog post, but a HUGE congrats to Cheryl Lee & mother/daughter team Nancy Forsberg & Kayla Cory for earning spots at this year’s retreat! What did we make?… I couldn’t resist the products in the Cute As A Bug Suite Collection and created almost all the make & takes with those fun papers and adorable bug images & shapes. We made a set of simple cards, a box for the cards (showing two versions). a Panel Z-Fold card (that I mostly cased from fellow demonstrator, Emma Goddard), and a Triple Z-Fold card (showing two versions).
Be sure to watch my instructional video by clicking here for measurements, tips and directions for the z-fold cards (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it), scroll through the photos that follow, check out the products lists below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. I invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can get updates when I share and go live. I’ve shared more details for the following cards in today’s video and below.
If you are a Supporter Member of my YouTube Channel, I invite you to join in on 1/30/26 at 7 PM Central Time for my members-only video where I’ll assemble the boxes. (I’ll share photos of those cards & boxes and the measurements along with photos from the Silver Elite Retreat event here on my blog in my next post.)

And below are photos of the Panel Z-Fold Card I shared, measurements, and a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find them in my online store). Again, a big thanks to Emma Goddard! Her card inspired the layout of this one! I really only made a few small changes.

I’ve been slow at getting back into the groove after returning from our family vacation out west. But I went live on 1/16/26 to show off the amazing cards and gifts sent my way since my last Show & Share in November.
Click here or on the image below to watch and see all the amazing creativity. And a big thank you to all of you who sent these to me. I’m so inspired and feel very blessed.
Lastly here are a few of those photos (plus a few more!) you saw when I shared about our trip in that 1/16/26 Show & Share. ⬆️
We had a wonderful visit with our son Luke in his new home of Los Angeles. We also got to spend some time in that trip seeing family and friends. It was a nice getaway for Tim, Nick and me. And t so good to see Luke. We miss him. But he’s doing great!
1/7/26 – We flew out to Las Vegas, checked into Green Valley Resort (compliments of aunt Ann & uncle Luther), visited with them, and drove the strip. 1/8/26 – We drove and hiked in the Red Rock Canyon,…
…went downtown to see the Fremont Street Experience, visited the Pawn Stars store, and then had dinner with Luther and Ann at Giuseppe’s. 1/9/26 – traveled across the Mohave Desert and stayed a night in the Palmdale/Lancaster area which is where I lived and taught elementary education for four years after college.
I have demonstrators in my team that live in that area. Four of us were able to gather at Mariacristina’s that night (Mariacristina, Rose,…
…Pat and Hildy). Tim and Nick hung back at the hotel and had fun on their own.
1/10/26 – We drove to North Hollywood and finally got to see and hug Luke! We went directly to Luke & Tyler’s place to visit for awhile, saw the Brady Bunch house (not far from where they live),…
…went to the Griffith observatory (to see a great view of the city and the Hollywood sign),…
…walked the Hollywood Blvd/Walk of Fame, and ended the night by watching Luke & Tyler’s movie that they filmed last year in 12th grade. It was our first time seeing it!
1/11/26 – We drove up the coast to Malibu, had breakfast at Le Café De La Plage, stopped to explore El Matador Beach,…
…then finally made the drive up to Solvang (a town known for it’s Danish/Scandinavian architecture & culture). After a long drive back, we ended the day at the outdoor hot tub at our hotel.
1/12/26 – This is the day we explored the Venice Beach/Muscle Beach area.
We also visited Santa Monica Pier and had gelato at Bacio di Latte.
That evening I was blessed to connect with even more team members (Alie, Rosie, and Jenny) at the Granville restaurant on Ventura Blvd. Tim, Nick and Luke joined us this time. Before heading back to our hotel we also checked out Rodeo Drive.
1/13/26 – On this day we went to see Universal Studios City Walk in the morning and then went on the tour of Warner Bros Studios!
That evening, we went shopping and picked up a bunch of groceries for Luke, got food from Cava (where he works) and met some of his friends that work there, and then enjoyed the hotel hot tub one last time.
1/14/26 – After breakfast at Jumpin Java, we said our good-byes to Luke (I was in tears) and took off back to Las Vegas. On the way we stopped along the 14 to visit and hike the Vasquez Rocks.
We arrived in Las Vegas shortly before 5 PM, met up with aunt Ann again, had dinner together at Bottiglia inside the resort,…
…drove to and walked around to see more of the strip, then saw a Cirque de Soleil show called Mad Apple at the New York New York casino/hotel.
And… we connected with Chloe (one of my former students when I was a teacher in the Palmdale, CA area in the early 1990’s) and her daughters for a late afternoon meal. What a treasure!
Our entire trip was amazing! We can’t wait to go again.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I had to share.

PRODUCT CHANGES ARE HERE The cling stamp line (red rubber stamp line) is being phased out. Stampin’ Up! is transitioning into sleeker, slimmer packaging for stamps and dies. More details about these changes can be found here. Two videos where I share tips/ideas for the new stamp & die packaging can be found here.
Stampin’ Up!® Products Available to Even More Crafters Throughout the World Stampin’ Up! products are now available to “Non-Open Stampin’ Up! Countries.” Effective immediately, and under specific conditions, current Stampin’ Up! products can now be purchased by crafters in most countries where we do not currently conduct business. It’s a big week for our family. Our 18 year old son, Luke is moving out to California with his friend Tyler to pursue jobs in the movie industry. I haven’t gotten too emotional yet. But I suppose that’s coming after they take off on Tuesday afternoon. For now we are doing laundry and packing, gathering up some starter groceries, getting in those final appointments (visiting the doctor, getting a haircut, etc.), and checking things off on our lists.
The boys will thankfully be staying with family at their three stops along the way before they get to their apartment. That gives us all peace of mind for sure. But we still welcome any well wishes for their safe travels.
Now I invite you to continue reading today’s post for this week’s creative ideas.

The 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar is a fun and unique product (available for the first time) through Stampin’ Up! I invite you to check out my Live video from October 4th. Shortly after the 44 minute mark is where I introduced and shared the products within each little door of the calendar. Then four days later during my October 8th Online Paper Crafting Class I shared projects that I created with some of these products along with measurements and instructions.
Be sure to watch my instructional video by clicking here* for measurements, tips and directions (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it), scroll through the photos that follow, check out the products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are photos of my projects, and at the bottom of my post is a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find and purchase them in my online store).
Click here to access and download a printable “measurements & supplies” sheet for the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar projects.
Here are photos of what I made.
I didn’t even tap into half the products! There are so many creative possibilities with this collection of products.

On Friday evening I shared several more alternate project ideas that I created with the contents of the September 2025 Fall for Toile kit including boxes, a scrapbook page layout, and a variation on one of the cards I initially shared on September 20th,
Be sure to watch my video by clicking here* for measurements, tips and directions (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it), scroll through the photos that follow, check out the products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are photos of my projects, and at the bottom of my post is a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find and purchase them in my online store).
I was asked the other day if I’m still making scrapbook pages with Paper Pumpkin kit. And I am! In fact I’ve made a layout (or at least one page) with 99% of all the Paper Pumpkin kits. Click here or here (my archive) to visit past kit creations I’ve shared.
If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own. OR…become an active subscriber and get in on the refill kit (as of today it’s still available). The refill kit doesn’t contain the ink and stamp images. But you will at least gain the main pieces and can hopefully replace most of the stamp images I used with some of your own.

🦋 Halloween Treat Container Inspiration
And for my last part of today’s post, I decided to photograph and share a bunch of Halloween treat packaging ideas! The first photo shows super simple ways to use the Spooky Sweet Suite of products (the stamps, dies, paper and bags) and the Fright Night Bundle to “fancy up” Reese’s treats and Hershey bars. I put these together in just a matter of minutes!
The topper for the bag is 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 1-3/8.” The wrap for the candy bar is 5-1/4″ x 6.” At the bottom of my post is a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find and purchase them in my online store).
The rest of these photos share the talents of fellow demonstrator, Rose Kerry. She gifted ALLLLLL these boxes, pouches and goodies to me! And I’m so excited to show them off to you in photos!! By the way I also shared these at the end of my October 4th video (fast forward to the 1:28:20 minute mark).
I don’t have measurements and a list of supplies for these. I’m simply sharing them to show off Rose’s talents and give you a bit more creative inspiration!
Thanks for checking out what I had to share from this week. I hope I inspired your creativity! 🦋

🦋 Saturday, October 4, 2025
Oh wow! What a fun day of sharing during my Live broadcast on YouTube today. I started by leading my viewers in a Mystery Stamping Project. (If you want to play along and haven’t yet, then you don’t want to see the finished card samples yet. So don’t scroll down too far, and be sure to watch the recording first!) After the Mystery Stamping portion, I then shared several new products many of which debut on November 4th. And I ended the broadcast by sharing cards & gifts I’ve received recently (including my mass-load of Happy Birth-o-ween gifts from Rose Kerry) and the September 11th swap cards from those in my Stampers With ART community.
Be sure to watch my video by clicking here* (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it), scroll through the photos of the sample mystery stamping cards, check out the products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below you’ll find my “clues” that I shared in the video, photos of two of my Mystery Stamping sample cards, and at the bottom of my post is a visual list of many of the products (each linked to where you can find and purchase them in my online store).
10/1/25 Mystery Stamping
Materials to gather:
Designer Paper (we will use two coordinating patterns and any possibly some accent images)
Basic White or Very Vanilla Cardstock
Coordinating Cardstock (two colors)
Card base color
Accent color
Stamp images/sentiments
Dies &/or punches (optional)
Embossing folder (optional)
Embellishments and/or ribbon (optional)
Adhesives
Trimmer & other basic tools
Cut and prep initial pieces…
Designer Paper
4″ x 9″ or 10.2 cm x 22.8 cm (pattern should work in portrait)
4″ x 5″ or 9.9 cm x 14 cm (pattern should work in landscape)
Basic White or Very Vanilla Cardstock
2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ or 7 cm x 9.5 cm
Coordinating Colored Cardstock (for card base)
4-1/4″ x 11″ or 10.5 cm x 29.7 cm
Another Coordinating Colored Cardstock
3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ or 8.3 cm x 10.9 cm
(Not needed right away, but to finish your card…accent layers from cardstocks/paper and accent images from paper/stamps/dies)
Clue #1: This will be a landscape style card with the opening in the middle.
Clue #2: Score 4-1/4″ x 11″ or 10.5 cm x 29.7 cm card base cardstock 2-3/4” or 7.4 cm in from each end (scores should be parallel to the short side). Fold in on each score line to form the base of the card. Position horizontally in front of you with the opening in the middle.
Clue #3: Cut the 4″ x 5″ or 9.9 cm x 14 cm piece of designer paper into two 2-1/2” x 4” or two 7 cm x 9.9 cm pieces. Adhere these each to the front panels or “doors” of the card base.
Clue #4: Open the “doors” of your card and adhere the 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ or 8.3 cm x 10.9 accent color of cardstock horizontally centered in the middle.
Clue #5: Score the 4″ x 9″ or 10.2 cm x 22.8 cm designer paper parallel to the short edge at 3” or 7.6 cm and at 6” or 15.2 cm. Then with your pattern facing you, hold the top of this designer paper strip with one hand while (with the other hand) folding back at the 3” or 7.6 cm score line and then forward at the 6” or 15.2 cm score line. This will create a zig-zag fold (or z-fold). Keep it folded and adhere the back of it to the 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ or 8.3 cm x 10.9 accent cardstock layer on the inside of your card.
Clue #6: Open this 4″ x 9″ or 10.2 cm x 22.8 cm designer paper once more and adhere the 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ or 7 cm x 9.5 cm Basic White (or Very Vanilla) cardstock in the lower third.
Clue #7: Close your card. Then take some time to cut, punch, die-cut, stamp, embellish to create a front layer for your card. Attach this only to the left “door.”
Clue #8: Open your card and cut, punch, die-cut, stamp, etc. to decorate the top of the folded designer paper strip. Stamp a sentiment on the 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ or 7 cm x 9.5 cm Basic White (or Very Vanilla) layer.
A big thank you to fellow demonstrator, Toni Shaw. Her gifted card to me inspired this Mystery Stamping project!
And this is the one featuring the new Brushed With Beauty Suite of products debuting November 4th (which is why you don’t see links for these below)…
If you created along with me, I’d absolutely LOVE it if you shared what you made by posting in my Stamp Your Art Out Group on Facebook! Wowza! It’s so true what they say…time flies! Our oldest son Nick is now 20 years. His birthday was Wednesday and we celebrated with dinner at his favorite restaurant, Crave in Maple Grove, MN on Thursday evening. Pictured left to right: Tim, Nick, Luke and me.
In my first year of blogging, he was just 7 years old. At that time I was making cakes, decorating the house, and creating and sending hand-crafted invitations for themed parties. I posted this 8 year old baseball-themed birthday party photo of him with his baseball cupcakes (that I made!) on October 5, 2013. Oh how much fun we had with the birthday celebrations back then AND how little he was!
Thanks for checking out what I had to share from this week. I hope I inspired your creativity! 🦋

But this does not cost you anything extra to shop this way. I love their products and recommend them because I own several myself and believe you will benefit from them.
