Today I’m sharing with you a couple simple window cards that you can easily recreate with the new Beautiful Autumn Bundle, Gold Cards & Envelopes, a 2-1/4″ Circle Punch, a sponge, and some inks. Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Directions…

  • Punch a 2-1/4″ Circle from the front layer of the card. And stamp the sentiment within the circle to it can be viewed with the card closed or open.

  • Open card and lay it onto grid paper so you can stamp near the edge of the circle without getting ink on the inside of the card. Stamp the green leaves directly onto the card front around the punched circle’s edge. Stamp the acorns and the orange and yellow leaves onto the punched out circle which is now scrap cardstock.
  • Stamp outline images with full ink color and inside solid images with “stamped off” or “second generation” color. (For “stamped off” or “second generation” color: ink stamp, stamp on grid paper, then stamp onto card or card piece to get a slightly lighter color. BTW…I stamped off twice for the lower half of the acorn.)
  • After stamping the acorns and the orange and yellow leaves onto the scrap, punch them out with their coordinating punches.

  • Softly sponge green (Mint Macaron) ink on the edge of the circular window and in the areas of the green leaves.
  • Add the acorns and the orange and yellow leaves with Glue Dots. Embellish with a few rhinestones.

Do you remember a couple years back when I shared my Twelve Months of HOME Class and some additional interchangeable pieces for it on 12/1/18 and on 12/3/18? Well, I’ve got a couple more pieces that I made using some of the upcoming new product so I could not only give you a taste of some of the fun goodies coming but also update my framed HOME project at the same time.

I used the following four new products: Sounds of the Season Dies, Black Glitter Paper, Celebration Tidings Stamp Set, and Celebration Labels Dies.

Gathered Leaves Corner-Cut Card

About four days ago, I shared one of the two make-n-takes my Stampers With ART group made last week: the coffin box. TOOooo adorable! Right?

Today I’m sharing the second one.

Here is the second make-n-take project that we made during our September 2019 Stampers With ART team gathering online! It’s a corner-cut card made with the Come to Gather Designer Paper, Gather Together Stamp Set, Gathered Leaves Dies, and the Leaf Punch. Click here to get measurements, directions, and a supply list linked to my online store. - Stampin’ Up!® - Stamp Your Art Out! www.stampyourartout.com

I got this corner-cut layout idea from a swap I received on the incentive trip from Ann Clemmer. (I shared it along with my other swaps on July 18th.) I thought it was clever and unique.

Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Measurements…

  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock
    • 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ and folded in half for the card base
    • Scrap for die-cutting/embossing the leaf (or use what is left over after cutting off the corner of the card base)
  • Gray Granite Cardstock
    • 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Early Espresso Cardstock
    • 2-15/16″ x 2-15/16″
    • Scrap for punching two leaf clusters
  • Champagne Foil
    • Scrap for die-cutting/embossing the leaf
  • Come to Gather Designer Paper (pattern with white pumpkins and gray background)
    • Two pieces that are 1-3/8″ x 1-3/8″
  • Come to Gather Designer Paper (pattern with polka-dots on gray background)
    • Two pieces that are 1-3/8″ x 1-3/8″

Directions…

  • Measure 3″ up the right side and 3″ across the bottom from the lower right corner of the folded card base. Mark those two spots with a pencil. Then cut diagonally to remove the lower right corner of the card front.
  • Stamp the large leaf image on the upper left corner of the Gray Granite Cardstock using Pretty Peacock ink. And attach to the inside of the card.

  • Attach the Early Espresso square to the front of the card with Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the two sentiments with Early Espresso ink on the card front in the upper left and on the Gray Granite layer peeking out on the lower right.
  • Adhere the designer paper pieces to the Early Espresso square (now a diamond).
  • Die-cut and punch the leaves. (The dies also emboss at the same time!) Adhere them to the middle of the diamond using Glue Dots and Dimensionals.

Here is the second make-n-take project that we made during our September 2019 Stampers With ART team gathering online! Two More August Paper Pumpkin Projects

I loved creating with the August 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit! And today I want to share with you two more projects… a mini album (which you MAY have seen when it was shared by Cole Lambourne at Stampin’ Up! during their Facebook Live broadcast on August 27th) and the pretty card that I sent to a few of my lucky subscribers.

I made the album with with envelopes from the coordinating Gift of Fall Add-On Kit and elements from the August Paper Pumpkin kit.

You’d of course want to write along the left side of the inside of the card so that when the card is closed, what you wrote wouldn’t show through the see-through areas of the designer acetate. Here are some details if you wish to make this card yourself.

Measurements…

  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock
    • 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″ and folded into a z-fold
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock
    • Scrap for punching sprig
  • Mercury Glass Designer Acetate
    • 3-3/4″ x 5″

Directions…

  • Fold the Whisper White Cardstock into a z-fold. The crease should be in the middle. To the right of the crease is the inside area of the card.
  • Add 3-1/2″ of Tear & Tape Adhesive just to the left of the crease on the folded flat card base. Then add the acetate layer so it is centered. You should see 1/4″ white border on all four sides if you centered it well.
  • Wrap 48-50″ Linen Thread about four times around the top layer near the crease concealing the Tear & Tape adhesive underneath. Tie in a knot, then in a bow. Adjust if necessary to bring the bow to the center.
  • Add the colorful berries/leaves vellum piece with Glue Dots so it is tucked under the thread.
  • Add the Crumb Cake punched sprig with Glue Dots so it is tucked under the thread.
  • Add a leaf piece from the kit (flipped over to the white side) with Glue Dots so it is tucked under the thread.
  • Stamp the sentiment onto the label piece. And add to the acetate so it is overlapping the ends of the foliage pieces and the thread.
  • Add a Flower Faceted Gem.

Autumn-Themed Curvy Keepsakes Boxes

One of the cutest treat boxes returns in the 2019 Holiday Catalog. And it’s miniaturized!!

The Mini Curvy Keepsakes box is a must have especially if you loved the original that we carried a few years back. I dove right in and created four adorable, fall-themed treat boxes with this die set and some coordinating new products. One box is exclusive to the September Stampin’ Anonymous Tutorial (which you can either purchase or get free when you place an order though me this month). The other three (along with one that my friend Susan designed) are what I am sharing with you today!

I demonstrated two of them from start to finish in my Wednesday, September 4th Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook. I then uploaded the recorded version of my Facebook Live video to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). Be sure to watch the video (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), scroll through the close-up photos, check out the products lists below the photos, and then let me know if you have any questions.

The sweet pumpkin box is perfect for Fall in general. Wouldn’t these be cute at each place setting for Thanksgiving?

Measurements for Pumpkin Box…

  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
    • 5-1/2” x 5-1/2” scrap
  • Garden Green Cardstock
    • Narrow strip for tendril
    • Scrap for die-cutting heart (leaf)

Come see what I share on my blog… #stampyourartout - Stampin’ Up!® - Stamp Your Art Out! www.stampyourartout.com

I just HAVE to show off my boys (again). Hahaha! This week was their first back for the 2019-20 school year.

Nicholas on the left is in 8th grade and is taking his first year of Spanish this year. He’s a percussionist in Band IV and will be performing with his Jazz Band this winter in Disney World! This is his 8th year of piano lessons. He is also in Cross Country again and Gymnastics (his first year and they put him in the most advanced class!). He has the busiest schedule in our family but loves the challenge. He even wants to find employment when he turns 14 this October. This kid has ambition. That’s for sure.

Luke on the right is in 7th grade and is loving his classes this year, too. He is in Choir again (hoping this shy kiddo will try out for some solo parts because his voice is heavenly). He is also in Music Composition, Creative Innovations, and Drawing (he is considering being an architect someday). He’s got a intensely creative mind, so I’ll be looking for some after-school opportunities for him. He’s not into competitive team sports, but he is very excited for Tornado Force this winter where he will be able to stay after school to learn about weight lifting and resistance training.

The boys are off for their first day of school 2019! Nick is in 8th and Luke is in 7th already. Time flies. Stamp Your Art Out!

They both will continue with Boy Scouts and are excited that we will be going to Open Gym on Friday nights at Nick’s gymnastics facility. It will be a great way to end the week if we can keep it up.

So far they are enjoying being back at school. Routine is good, and they missed their friends. And… Dad is back to dealing with them needing the bathroom at the same time he does in the morning. But we are working out the kinks.

Life is good. ❤️

I’ve already shared a few other alternate projects using the contents of this kit on August 22nd.

  • A 12×12 Scrapbook Page Layout
  • A Treat Bag with a Window
  • Two Alternate Greeting Cards (plus one that I didn’t design)
  • and Two Monster Puppets

CLICK HERE to check them out for more ideas.

Today I have three more projects to inspire your creativity and help you think outside the box.

  • A Circle Card
  • Thanksgiving Day Personalized Dinner Notes
  • and a Shirt Bag

All of these are super easy to make and only require a few extra tools and supplies. Products I used… See below for a complete list of extra products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.

CIRCLE CARD

Circle cards are fun fold cards. They are made of circles layered on top of each other and connected with brads so the circles can rotate while the card extends open.

This is a fun one!!! When I saw the banner, I pictured it as a neck tie. And one thing led to another. This is the same technique for making shirt cards (which I just realized I’ve never shared with you… Click here to see my friend Julie’s tutorial). I just applied this technique to the bag.

Directions…

  • Remove the handles and the extra layers of paper inside the bag.

  • Flatten the bag. Measure one inch down from each of the top two corners and then one inch in. Draw a line on each side to connect these two measurements.

  • Cut along the two lines. Fold the top corners diagonally in and down to connect the points together forming the shirt collar. (Don’t glue down yet.)

  • Make the tie…Mark 3/4″ in from each side at the top of the tie. Mark 3″ down from on each side. Connect the dots as shown. Then cut out the tie.

  • Stamp “enjoy” on the right side of one of the banners. Add this tie clip to the tie using a Glue Dot near the edge of the tie and a Dimensional at the end of the clip. Wrap the rest of the banner to the back and adhere or trim off the excess. Add a sequin if room.
  • Adhere tie to the bag front..
