Welcome to our All Star monthly blog hop for the Mediterranean Blooms Suite! We are excited to share even MORE ideas than what we are offering in our exclusive Video Class Bundle this month. I’ve created this “all the love” card using the Citrus Blooms Stamps and Dies, the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder (which coordinates really well with the tile images in the paper from this suite), heat embossing for the sentiments, a Blending Brush for a touch of color on the dry embossed tile layer, and Garden Green embellishments and leaves.
You’ll want to emboss the front white layer first to give it texture, and then use a Blending Brush to apply just a little Pool Party ink in the lower right section. Then using VersaMark ink, stamp the outside sentiment onto a scrap of Basic Black Cardstock and the inside sentiment onto another scrap of Basic Black Cardstock. Add white Basics Wow! Embossing Powder and heat to set. Then punch out the sentiments, die-cut the leaves, and assemble the card.

The front sentiment circle is connected directly the the largest set of leaves and added with Dimensionals. The two other large branches of leaves are adhered directly to the embossed layer. Remember to add the Blooming Pearls along the right edge too.
Here is what the inside looks like. I just LOVE white sentiments on black backgrounds. The contrast is stunning!

I stepped back in time this weekend in a few different ways. I was in Walnut Grove, MN with my husband, sister, and three friends for the Little House In the Prairie 50th Year Reunion event celebrating the TV series with fellow fans and former cast members, connecting with a bit of American history from the Laura Ingalls Wilder days, and NOT connecting much with the internet.
So I thought it was a fitting time to share two more cards that I made with the Take To The Sky Suite which features historical biplane imagery. (In the early years of aviation – the early 1900’s – biplanes were the first popular style of aircraft.) I shared my first Take To The Sky Tulip Fold card on 6/5/24 (seen below). But I made another version featuring a couple different colors and different sentiments from the set.
This fold is similar to the Grad Cap Fold card that I featured in my 5/29/24 blog post. So I made another biplane card featuring the grad cap fold, too, Here are those two other versions.

The Bistro Burger Stamp Set & Dies can make some great Father’s Day cards for the dads in your lives that love burgers. My husband is one of those guys. So I put together this card featuring a super tall burger. I hope he likes it!

Directions
Stamp burger image twice with Basic Gray ink. (I used gray because I wanted the outline to be subtle. But you could use Early Espresso or even Tuxedo Black.) With Grid Paper underneath to protect your table surface color the burger…color the buns with the Ivory and Light Blends Markers, the beef patties with the Dark Blends Markers, the tomatoes with the Poppy Parade Blends, the pickles with the Mossy Meadow Blends, the lettuce with the Light Granny Apple Green and Dark Lemon Lime Twist Blends, and the cheese with the Light Wild Wheat & Dark Peach Pie Blends.
Use the Color Lifter to lighten parts of the beef patties.
Die-cut the images and set aside.
Ink up the sentiment images so that the top halves are Poppy Parade ink and the bottom halves are Early Espresso. Stamp the sentiment strip and the inside layer.
There is no need to cut your burgers like I did (see image below). I was going to stack them, but changed my mind to separate them with the sentiment strip.
Die-cut olives and peppers and silver stick/toothpick. Assemble. And then add the stick of olives into the burger. No need to make your own hole as I did. There is actually a slit at the top of the burger that you can use. Silly me.
Adhere the white inside and front layers to the card base. Adhere the County Woods paper. Adhere your lower burger image. Use the sentiment strip as a guide and adhere your upper burger image. Then adhere the sentiment strip (I used Dimensionals in the middle and Tear and Tape Adhesive on the ends).
Secure the olives with Glue Dots and or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Attach the pepper with a Mini Dimensional.
Add four small Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots in the four corners of the sentiment strip.
Now I just have to hope that my hubby doesn’t see this post. The boys will be giving this card to him for Father’s Day. Shhh.

We are busy preparing for Nick’s graduation party that will be held here on June 9th. He’s super excited and ready to move onto college to focus on Exercise Science, but will be enjoying a well-deserved summer off first. His last day of school is Friday, and the graduation ceremony is Monday evening.
In addition to party prepping, I’m creating many personalized graduation cards for the other kids we know that are also graduating this year. This fun fold card I’m sharing today is pretty popular. In fact, I found several versions of it out there on the internet. So I tweaked it a bit to make it large enough to hold a gift card upright AND large enough to fill our standard Basic White envelopes.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these Grad Cap Fold Cards with Pockets using the the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set and other fabulous products from Stampin’ Up! I also shared measurements of other basic variations. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post.
