It’s been busy here. Our youngest son Luke is a senior in high school and graduates this weekend. And then we have his graduation party next weekend. So I apologize for the delay. I finally had time to create with my May 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit yesterday. And I have a TON of alternate project ideas to share with you! Yay!!

I love to show kit recipients other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I’m breaking down and turning the supplies for the three different kit cards into 9 cards (well more than nine because I share variations), I’m sharing a few fun fold card ideas, and I’m walking you through a two-page scrapbook page layout I designed. Lots right?!

When I’m making multiples of the same card, I get super careful on how I use my paper and other consumables. I want to make the most of the designer paper sheets, reduce the amount of die-cutting per card, give glitz without making the cards thick and bulky, and give the illusion that I have full underlying layers.
We are in the process of preparing for our youngest son Luke’s high school graduation. His ceremony is on June 1st. And we are throwing him a party a week after that on the 7th. The invitations have been mailed, and we are of course hoping for good weather and a good turn out.
Luke has already received a few cards of congrats. So I designed thank you cards that could be easily mass produced based on my guidelines in my first paragraph. They feature the Textured Notes Stamp Set, the Thankful Garden Dies, the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch, and the Timeless Plaid Designer Paper which coordinates well with his shirts and backgrounds in his invite photos.
I’m excited to show you how I made these cards. So today’s video walks you through all the steps allowing me to share my paper saving tips and tricks.

Today I’m sharing a couple photos, measurements and a supply list for this fun Staggered Strip Z-Fold Card that I created with the Trusty Tools stamp set and coordinating dies. Because of the sentiment imagery in the stamp set, I made this into a Father’s Day card, but you could totally change out the words and gift this fun card to any handy tool-loving person in your life.

Yesterday I created a few pages (a one-page layout and a two-page layout) with the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. I absolutely LOVE the colors and the elements. This kit was added to the Last Chance List on April 1st. So if you are in love with it as much as I am, you may want to grab one up (and maybe a container of the Industrial Trinkets, too) before they sell out.
Here is my one-page layout. The photos sit in the middle, so this works if you wanted to frame it an hang it on a wall. When else does it make sense to have a one-page layout?…It could become the first or last page in an album. But you could easily make a coordinating partner page with the other elements in the kit. I just ran out of time.
A Special Day It has a beach feel to it because of that fabulous background paper that looks like watercolor wash on canvas. My big leaves are white because I flipped the green over. I felt it gave a more dramatic look than the darker green leaves. My flower (with a sticker in the middle) in the lower left is the only element on the page raised up on Dimensionals. Then the strips (two that are actually together on a sticker) are mounted onto a 1-3/8″ x 12″ strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock (also from the kit).
Here is my two-page layout. I love to fit a lot of photos on my album pages, so these definitely will hold a lot of visual memories.
You & Me It’s a title that implies photos of either love, friendship, or even a favorite pet. The colors are calming. And though there are small hearts and a bit of floral imagery, it’s subtle. The added Industrial Trinkets on the main title and on the left page imply strength and permanency.

I used sponged on glue to add the hearts and other laser-cut imagery and Glue Dots for my trinkets.
The strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock on the left page measures 1-7/8″ x 5″. The strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock on the right page under the main title sticker measures 1-7/8″ x 7″. I trimmed the corners to line up with the sticker shape. Then the strips (two that are actually together on a sticker) are mounted onto a 1″ x 12″ strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock.
I absolutely love the deep contrast of darks and lights on these pages. And they are clean layouts that won’t detract from my photos when I add them. It’s a great kit! I highly recommend getting your hands on one before they sell out. Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoyed what I shared today!

I designed a card with the Layering Leaves and Leaf Collection Stamp Sets recently. I plan to send this card to current achieving and new demonstrators in my Stampers With ART group. But I’m also going to create more of them, because the card colors and imagery make me happy. And I think these would make great birthday cards for family and friends. The card features embossing, punching, and a fun background stamp layering idea.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating this cheerful greeting card. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. BTW…I recommend stamping your lighter color first so it sits more in the background. I stamped with the darker color first (since my stamp was already inked in that color) during my live class and it gave me a slightly different look…the yellow is definitely more dominant where the two colors overlap.
