I’m catching up and now able to share the measurements and supplies for three “bonus” cards that I’ve shown during past videos. Today’s three cards are other versions of these cards that I have demonstrated recently:
The first is my Halloween version of the Pop-Up Diamond Tiara Fold Card. It features the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper, the Fright Night Dies, and the Spooky Halloween Stamp Set.
This was a super fun fold to create and I am definitely going to making more of these soon. The card flattens down to fit into an envelope. Then when allowed to “breathe” the front pops up and off the base. And from the side it looks like a mini crown (or tiara) made up of three diamonds.
Here are the measurements you’ll need for this Halloween version. Scroll down to access the supply list.
Basic Gray Cardstock
4” x 8-1/2” scored at 5-1/2”
Basic White Cardstock
2-1/2″ x 3-7/8″
Basic Black Cardstock
Scraps for punching three 1-3/4” circles – one for the top, and two (that you can punch into narrower pointed ovals (see photo) as the support pieces
1-1/2” x 4”
(2) 3/8” x 4”
Scraps for die-cutting webs
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
(2) 3/8” x 4”
Scraps for die-cutting three Boo!’s (layer these altogether to make a thick one)
Spooky Sweet Designer Paper
4” x 8” scored parallel to the short side at 1/4”, 1”, 1-3/4”, 2-1/2”, 3-1/4”, 4”, 4-3/4”, 5-1/2”, 6-1/4”, 7”, 7-3/4”
3/4” x 4”
2-1/4” x 4”
Scraps for die-cutting a couple spiders (from the dark blackish gray pattern)
The other two cards I created before coming up with my Beautiful Blues card. In fact the Beautiful Gallery papers shown on these cards inspired me to come up with this unique fun fold!
Like the tiara card above, these cards also flatten down to fit into envelopes. Then the front “barriers” pop out to help hold the cards up.
I gave a few bits of into for THESE cards at the end of my video from July 19th… Beautiful Blues Museum Gallery Fun Fold Card. But you’ll want to watch most of the video to get the basic directions and tips for making this type of fun fold card.
Here are the measurements you’ll need for this “boats on the water” version with imperial measurements.

On Monday I posted a few Pillar Pyramid fun fold cards and gave you the heads up that I’d be sharing more today along with directions for this unique type of card. Monday’s cards were made with the Celebratory Sips Suite of products. Today’s cards are made with the papers, stamps, dies and embellishments from the Beautiful Gallery Suite. A big thank you to Iced Images for her 5×7 creations that inspired my versions.
This fun fold takes a little bit of time to make, but it will bring a lot of joy and your recipient will love it and want to keep it on display on a shelf or mantle.

Yesterday I created a few pages (a one-page layout and a two-page layout) with the Everyday You & Me Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. I absolutely LOVE the colors and the elements. This kit was added to the Last Chance List on April 1st. So if you are in love with it as much as I am, you may want to grab one up (and maybe a container of the Industrial Trinkets, too) before they sell out.
Here is my one-page layout. The photos sit in the middle, so this works if you wanted to frame it an hang it on a wall. When else does it make sense to have a one-page layout?…It could become the first or last page in an album. But you could easily make a coordinating partner page with the other elements in the kit. I just ran out of time.
A Special Day It has a beach feel to it because of that fabulous background paper that looks like watercolor wash on canvas. My big leaves are white because I flipped the green over. I felt it gave a more dramatic look than the darker green leaves. My flower (with a sticker in the middle) in the lower left is the only element on the page raised up on Dimensionals. Then the strips (two that are actually together on a sticker) are mounted onto a 1-3/8″ x 12″ strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock (also from the kit).
Here is my two-page layout. I love to fit a lot of photos on my album pages, so these definitely will hold a lot of visual memories.
You & Me It’s a title that implies photos of either love, friendship, or even a favorite pet. The colors are calming. And though there are small hearts and a bit of floral imagery, it’s subtle. The added Industrial Trinkets on the main title and on the left page imply strength and permanency.
Here is a slightly closer view.
I used sponged on glue to add the hearts and other laser-cut imagery and Glue Dots for my trinkets.
The strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock on the left page measures 1-7/8″ x 5″. The strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock on the right page under the main title sticker measures 1-7/8″ x 7″. I trimmed the corners to line up with the sticker shape. Then the strips (two that are actually together on a sticker) are mounted onto a 1″ x 12″ strip of Pretty Peacock Two-Toned Cardstock.
I absolutely love the deep contrast of darks and lights on these pages. And they are clean layouts that won’t detract from my photos when I add them. It’s a great kit! I highly recommend getting your hands on one before they sell out. Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoyed what I shared today!

Sorry for the delay. I was on a much needed retreat this past week. I rested and enjoyed my time away. I opened my February 2025 Hello Spring Paper Pumpkin kit Monday evening, fell in love with all the beautiful imagery and colors, and put together three unique cards to share with you today. This is my first set of alternate projects. Then I’ll share more on March 1st within the collection of exclusives that my Paper Pumpkin Creatives Team is currently compiling and again on March 7th for the “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop.
Here are the consumable supplies (minus the stamp set and ink) that come with this kit.
This kit has enough supplies to make 9 springtime cards (3 of 3 kinds). Do you want to make them as intended? Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video.
I love to show kit recipients other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I’m sharing with you a simple window card, an altered double z-fold card, and a “diamond display” card.
Watch my videohere to get to get measurements, directions, and tips (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations. Then remember to visit my blog again soon, because I’ll have many more alternate projects that I’ll be sharing in future posts!
I hope you enjoyed what I shared and gained some creative inspiration! Below are close-up photos of the alternate cards I created. (Remember to watch my video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
**Products that I’ve shared or mentioned are shown/listed below and are currently linked to my online store.
If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own. OR…become an active subscriber and get in on the refill kit. The refill kit doesn’t contain the ink and stamp images. But you will at least gain the main pieces and can hopefully replace most of the stamp images I used with some of your own.
If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I invite you to give it a try. CLICK HERE to learn more. CLICK HERE to sign up by March 10th at noon Mountain Time for this next kit.
A PEEK AT MARCH’S PAPER PUMPKIN KIT Daisy Daydream: Send sweet greetings with gorgeous cards featuring bees, honeycomb, and daisies. Makes 9 cards: 3 of 3 designs. The kit also includes precut vellum accents, precut paper pieces, and specialty gold foil. It comes in a beautiful coordinating box and… to celebrate 12 years of Paper Pumpkin… a FREE additional stamp set!! Coordinating colors: Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Lemon Lime Twist, Lost Lagoon (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla. Click here for a flyer showing peeks of the January – March kits. And don’t miss the special add-on that coordinates with all three months: the Spring Is in the Air Dies (#166237) — made available December 11th and only while supplies last!
As mentioned above, I am partnering a team of talented Stampin’ Up! demonstrators to create alternate projects each month using the contents of the Paper Pumpkin kits. These exclusive projects are within printable PDF tutorials and include measurements, supply lists, photos and directions. They are shared as a FREE bonus gift to our Paper Pumpkin kit subscribers and team members. And you can purchase them by the 1st of each month. The February 2025 Hello Spring exclusives will be available at this link March 1st.
I hope you had fun and gained some creative inspiration!

My January Paper Pumpkin kit arrived last night. Yep! I’m not one of the subscribers lucky enough to get my kits early. 🤣 Thankfully my friends Nancy & Kayla loaned me one of theirs so I could get a head start. I designed my first set of alternate projects on Monday using the contents of this card kit and a bit of other coordinating product. I’m sharing those with you today. Then I’ll share more on February 7th for the “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop. Please be sure to visit again. Then I create and share one more idea which I contribute to the collection of exclusives that my Paper Pumpkin Creatives Team is currently compiling. I share these freely with my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and team members and will be offering them for purchase on February 1st here in my Tutorials for Sale page.
Here are the consumable supplies (minus the stamp set and ink) that come with this kit.
This kit has enough supplies to make 9 Valentine-themed cards (3 of 3 kinds). Do you want to make them as intended? Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show kit recipients other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I’m sharing with you two card ideas and a treat idea in case you want to use the supplies for classroom or co-worker Valentines.
Watch my videohere to get to get measurements, directions, and tips (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations. Then be sure to visit my blog again soon, because I’ll have many more alternate projects that I’ll be sharing in future posts!
I hope you enjoyed what I shared and gained some creative inspiration! Below are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch my video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
**Products that I’ve shared or mentioned are shown/listed below and are currently linked to my online store.
Lindt Chocolate Valentine Treats You can make 18 using the foil stickers and another 8 more by fussy cutting other hearts if you want to use up all the sparkly heart embellishments.
If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own. OR…become an active subscriber and get in on the refill kit. (The refill typically shows up in the online store soon after the 20th.) It doesn’t contain the ink and stamp images. But you will at least gain the main pieces and can hopefully replace most of the stamp images I used with some of your own.
If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I invite you to give it a try. CLICK HERE to learn more. CLICK HERE to sign up by February 10th for this next kit.

Here are a couple more chocolate bar card variations. I assembled these two cards more recently. After sharing my first versions from my November 18th blog post, I got some great ideas from a couple fellow team members and YouTube members. So I used three of those ideas in these versions.
I loved the use of the More Than Autumn stamp set sentiments with the implication of the word chocolate. Thanks Vy Tran!
JoAnn Pollock shared one of her versions with an extra layer of candy wrapping.
She also shared that since the bottom is covered by the wrapping, that you really can start with a 5-1/2″ height on your card. Click here to see her versions and read through her directions and tips.
Both of these cards are created with 4-1/8″ x 11″ bases scored at 5-1/2″. The left card is easy to score. Each section is 1-3/8″ x 1-3/8″ – scored vertically at 1-3/8″ and 2-3/4″ & scored horizontally at 1-3/8″, 2-3/4″ and 4-1/8″. The right card is scored vertically at 1-3/8″ and 2-3/4″ & scored horizontally at 1-1/8″, 2-1/4″, 3-3/8″ and 4-1/2″. My last row is a little bit shorter. It’s an inch tall… 1/8″ shorter than the other rows.
I didn’t add the layered rectangles on the last row, because that area would be covered up. But I’m not so sure I like that, because the wrapper dips a bit in this spot. If you want to save on time though, just know that is an option. In hindsight, maybe I could’ve added Dimensionals under there?
The other thing I tried on one of these was to die-cut and punch and fussy cut a bite mark. But the multiple layers made this very difficult. And though the bite mark did NOT turn out the way I’d wanted (I used a die from the Something Fancy Dies and then trimmed more with my scissors. But a cloud from the Bright Skies Dies might have worked better. Ignore that my bite mark is from a monster with one large front middle tooth!), I still decided to share this version with you for the idea.
I didn’t incorporate all the ideas that were shared with me, but here are a few others you could try.
JoAnn Pollock suggested inking the scored areas and edges of the layered rectangles/squares to create a more 3D effect.
Kim Greenslade suggested a chocolate bar card would be perfect as a mini slimline (tall and narrow).
Marsha Mendenhall suggested using stamps and VersaMark ink on the squares to make the chocolate look printed.
If you’d like to recreate these cards, refer to even more instructions shared from my 11/18 post (or from JoAnn’s post).
I’m now off to bake Christmas cookies!
Oh! Here is a photo of our decorated tree and our Dept. 56 North Pole village in the corner of our main room.
I’ll be sure to post more photos from my family’s Christmas festivities by next weekend.
