I have some Joy Fold cards (and more rainbow cards) to share with you today!
I designed & created the purple Joy Fold card first. It was the card I used for my Silver Elite Retreat invitation. This event was held last weekend. And in the coming days, I’ll be sharing photos from that event and projects that we made together. So stay tuned! Then I designed & created the three others also featuring the Bloom Impressions paper (the three in the bottom row of this photo) for my pre-recorded presentation/demonstration for fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Kevin Theesen’s Winter Retreat which was also last weekend. The other one in the upper left featuring the Marbled Elegance paper debuted in today’s YouTube Members-Only Live.
Visit that post for my how-to video where I share the measurements and other details for those cards.
By the way, It’s a great time to join my community. Click here to learn more about the Starter Kit offering happening now through the end of February. Gosh! And if you have a birthday this next month and join beforehand, I’ll send you one of these rainbow cards. Hahaha!

My January Paper Pumpkin kit arrived last night. Yep! I’m not one of the subscribers lucky enough to get my kits early. 🤣 Thankfully my friends Nancy & Kayla loaned me one of theirs so I could get a head start. I designed my first set of alternate projects on Monday using the contents of this card kit and a bit of other coordinating product. I’m sharing those with you today. Then I’ll share more on February 7th for the “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop. Please be sure to visit again. Then I create and share one more idea which I contribute to the collection of exclusives that my Paper Pumpkin Creatives Team is currently compiling. I share these freely with my Paper Pumpkin subscribers and team members and will be offering them for purchase on February 1st here in my Tutorials for Sale page.
Here are the consumable supplies (minus the stamp set and ink) that come with this kit.
This kit has enough supplies to make 9 Valentine-themed cards (3 of 3 kinds). Do you want to make them as intended? Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show kit recipients other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I’m sharing with you two card ideas and a treat idea in case you want to use the supplies for classroom or co-worker Valentines.
Watch my videohere to get to get measurements, directions, and tips (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations. Then be sure to visit my blog again soon, because I’ll have many more alternate projects that I’ll be sharing in future posts!
I hope you enjoyed what I shared and gained some creative inspiration! Below are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch my video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
**Products that I’ve shared or mentioned are shown/listed below and are currently linked to my online store.
Lindt Chocolate Valentine Treats You can make 18 using the foil stickers and another 8 more by fussy cutting other hearts if you want to use up all the sparkly heart embellishments.
If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own. OR…become an active subscriber and get in on the refill kit. (The refill typically shows up in the online store soon after the 20th.) It doesn’t contain the ink and stamp images. But you will at least gain the main pieces and can hopefully replace most of the stamp images I used with some of your own.
If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I invite you to give it a try. CLICK HERE to learn more. CLICK HERE to sign up by February 10th for this next kit.

One of my newer bundles, Everyday Arches has been my “obsession” these past few days. I was planning to just create one card, but my mind kept going in many directions. I have five fully finished cards to share in my video today (one that I will walk through completely and four that I will share specific helpful tips for). I have photos, measurements, a supply list, and a PDF for the main card and then photos, and an extra list of products for the additional supplies needed for those cards.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago all this information for these cards that I made with the Everyday Arches Stamp Set & Dies, Everyday Skies Paper, and other coordinating Stampin’ Up! product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Here are a couple more chocolate bar card variations. I assembled these two cards more recently. After sharing my first versions from my November 18th blog post, I got some great ideas from a couple fellow team members and YouTube members. So I used three of those ideas in these versions.
I loved the use of the More Than Autumn stamp set sentiments with the implication of the word chocolate. Thanks Vy Tran!
JoAnn Pollock shared one of her versions with an extra layer of candy wrapping.
She also shared that since the bottom is covered by the wrapping, that you really can start with a 5-1/2″ height on your card. Click here to see her versions and read through her directions and tips.
Both of these cards are created with 4-1/8″ x 11″ bases scored at 5-1/2″. The left card is easy to score. Each section is 1-3/8″ x 1-3/8″ – scored vertically at 1-3/8″ and 2-3/4″ & scored horizontally at 1-3/8″, 2-3/4″ and 4-1/8″. The right card is scored vertically at 1-3/8″ and 2-3/4″ & scored horizontally at 1-1/8″, 2-1/4″, 3-3/8″ and 4-1/2″. My last row is a little bit shorter. It’s an inch tall… 1/8″ shorter than the other rows.
I didn’t add the layered rectangles on the last row, because that area would be covered up. But I’m not so sure I like that, because the wrapper dips a bit in this spot. If you want to save on time though, just know that is an option. In hindsight, maybe I could’ve added Dimensionals under there?
The other thing I tried on one of these was to die-cut and punch and fussy cut a bite mark. But the multiple layers made this very difficult. And though the bite mark did NOT turn out the way I’d wanted (I used a die from the Something Fancy Dies and then trimmed more with my scissors. But a cloud from the Bright Skies Dies might have worked better. Ignore that my bite mark is from a monster with one large front middle tooth!), I still decided to share this version with you for the idea.
I didn’t incorporate all the ideas that were shared with me, but here are a few others you could try.
JoAnn Pollock suggested inking the scored areas and edges of the layered rectangles/squares to create a more 3D effect.
Kim Greenslade suggested a chocolate bar card would be perfect as a mini slimline (tall and narrow).
Marsha Mendenhall suggested using stamps and VersaMark ink on the squares to make the chocolate look printed.
If you’d like to recreate these cards, refer to even more instructions shared from my 11/18 post (or from JoAnn’s post).
I’m now off to bake Christmas cookies!
Oh! Here is a photo of our decorated tree and our Dept. 56 North Pole village in the corner of our main room.
I’ll be sure to post more photos from my family’s Christmas festivities by next weekend.

ALL STAR VIDEO CLASSES I’m a designer with the All Stars, a group of globally recognized Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. Click here for more information. Click here to get to my Tutorials/Classes for Sale page to see others that have been offered. The next one featuring the Marbled Elegance Suite from the Online Exclusives products will be available January 1st.
Today I’m sharing one of the cards that we made together during our Stampers With ART team Connect, Create & Share event last night. Cutting and adding the layered rectangles took a bit of time and I initially messed up on some measurements during my instruction, so not everyone completed their version during our event. But we had fun!
This is a card that will certainly brighten any chocolate lovers day.
I saw a card a long time (wish I could remember who shared it) and made my own version (which I can’t find) with a bite mark out of it using the now-retired scalloped circle punch. It was such a fun card and brought a lot of smiles. So when I got this new Marbled Elegance Paper in my hands, I knew is would be perfect for another chocolate bar card.
I have two versions to show you, but my measurements below refer to this first one shown with the full Early Espresso (chocolate colored) base.
Products that I’m listing in this post are shown below and are currently linked to my online store.
Measurements…
Early Espresso Cardstock
4-1/8” x 11-1/4″ scored parallel to short side at 5-5/8” (this size WILL fit into our Basic White Envelopes) *
(15) 7/8″ x 1-1/8″
(15) 5/8″ x 7/8″
(15) 1/2″ x 3/4″
Basic White Cardstock
3-1/2″ x 4-7/8″
5/8″ x 2-3/4″
Marbled Elegance Designer Paper
2″ x 9″
Gold Foil
Scrap for die-cutting small heart
Fold your card base. Score the front side of your card twice to create three equal columns (score in from one side at 1-3/8″ and 2-3/4″). Score the front side of your card four times to create five rows (score from the bottom at 1-1/8″, 2-1/4″, 3-3/8″ and 4-1/2″).
Then adhere the rectangles inside these 15 sections of the card front in this order…large, small, medium. The smallest ones aren’t seen but create a bit more lift & shadow for those medium ones.
* If you only have 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock, start with a piece that is 4-1/8” x 11.” Score at 5-5/8″. One side will be shorter than the other. The shorter side is the front of the card. Then follow the same vertical scoring directions…score the front side of your card twice to create three equal columns (score in from one side at 1-3/8″ and 2-3/4″). Score the front side of your card four times to create five rows (score from the bottom at 7/8″, 2″, 3-1/8″ and 4-1/4″). Then just add the rectangles the same way. The bottom three will extend beyond the bottom edge a bit, but you can cover this up when you add your candy bar wrapper.
Tear one long edge of the designer paper. Wrap this around the bottom of the candy bar (card front) so that the bottom edge lines up with the bottom of the back of the card. Adhere.
Stamp the sentiments on the white strip and the white layer. Adhere the strip on the front of the card. Die-cut the small heart and add it to the front with a Dimensional.
Adhere the layer on the inside of the card. Embellish the heart and the inside layer with a couple Adhesive Backed Heart Sequins.

CTMH BRANDED PRODUCTS CLEARANCE SALE Save 30% all Close To My Heart branded products while supplies last. (Sale excludes any Stampin’ Up! scrapbooking products outside of the CTMH product category in the online store.)
I have an adorable treat/gift box to share with you today. Paired with the Little Debbie Unicorn Cakes, this box is a fun Valentine idea if you are looking for something to still share with your special loved ones. Don’t worry about owning all the products (although you could certainly expedite an order). You can apply the directions to cardstock, designer paper, and accents you already own.
Where did this inspiration come from? On January 30th, Nancy Forsberg & Kayla Cory from StampingBAE demonstrated how to make a cute box during our Stampers With ART team party. We all prepared our supplies ahead of time based on the list Nancy & Kayla shared. Then during the event these two showed us all step-by-step how to put their intended version of the project together. Good news!! Soon after they also shared publicly! Visit their February 1st blog post for photos, measurements, and their instructional video.
This is the one I created after their team party demonstration. And yep…I went out and bought those Little Debbie Unicorn Cakes, too! I used the supplies listed below. (These products I used are linked to where you can find them in my online store.)
Measurements…
Berry Burst Cardstock
5-1/2” x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 1-1/4″, 6-1/2″, and 7-3/4″ and then scored parallel to the long side at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 3-3/4″, and 5″ (then cut and assembled according to the directions shared in Nancy & Kayla’s video)
Delightful Floral Designer Paper
(4) 1” x 5”
(2) 1″ x 1″
Basic White Cardstock
3/8” x 2-1/8”
Scraps for stamping and die-cutting leaves and flowers
Watch Nancy & Kayla’s video for the instruction for the box. Then keep reading for the specific details for the one I made and shared here.
For my floral accents, I inked and stamped the two flowers onto the Basic White scrap paper (one with Calypso Coral ink, the other with Berry Burst ink). I inked the leaves with a combination of two inks. First I inked the stamps with Parakeet Party ink. Then I used a Dauber and added Pretty Peacock ink at the base of the leaf images. Then I exhaled on the inked stamps to remoisten the ink, and stamped the images onto more Basic White scrap paper.
After die-cutting the images, I curled these pieces a bit with the Bone Folder tool and attached them at the base of the box using Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and Dimensionals.
After stamping the sentiment with Berry Burst ink onto the Basic White strip, I trimmed the ends and added it to the box using Dimensionals.
Then I embellished with Iridescent Rhinestones.
Don’t forget to add the treat before gifting the box. Sweet idea. Right!?
I love my Precision Tip Glue Bottles! I’ve really found it much easier to add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to those intricate, detailed, and tiny pieces in my paper crafting projects now that I have some of that glue in these bottles.
Many of you have purchased these bottles using the link in My Favorite Extras. I’m glad you are also enjoying the ease they provide in paper crafting!
But occasionally I get the question…”How do you add the glue without it getting all over?” So I made this short tips video that I hope you will find useful.
Thanks for stopping by to see what I had to share today.
