Based on a request from a viewer of my last Show & Share on November 29, 2025, I’ve put together a Slide Out Fun Fold card similar to the one that Joanne Ryder sent me. I’ve shared Slide Out Fun Fold cards in the past, but they open upwards and the inside slider portion acts as a pocket for a gift card. This other style opens to the left. So I’m sharing both!
I couldn’t resist using the True Blue Florals Paper Product of the Month (POM) and… the Sweet Jar Bundle. The stamps and coordinating punch are so fun! And if you fall in love with them like I did, you may also need to invest in the Jar of Joy Stamp Set. (All supplies I’m listing are below in my products list.)
So today I’m going to demonstrate how to make these two style cards. I hope you enjoy!

Measurements for top-open Slide Out Pocket Card…
- Basic White Cardstock:
- 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 1-1/2” and 7”
- 3-1/4” x 6-1/2” scored at 3/8” and 5-1/4”
- Scrap for stamping/punching jar
- 1/2” x 3/4”
- Silver Foil:
- 1/2” x 4-1/4”
- Scraps for punching hearts and lid
- True Blue Florals Paper:
- Pattern 1: 3-3/4” tall x 4” wide
- Pattern 2: 1-3/8” tall x 4” wide

This one opens upward which makes it perfect as a “Slide Out Pocket” card.
