After I shared that pretty “springtime” fun fold card,…
I kept on going and making other versions (hahaha…does that surprise you?) using that same collection of coordinating products. And now I have 3 more versions to show you today! Yay!
For this “summer” version, I stamped the flower with Poppy Parade Ink and then colored the center with an Early Espresso marker and the petals with a Petal Pink marker to try to duplicate the look of the flower in the designer paper.
The inside sentiment is stamped with Early Espresso ink. I first stamped the bottom image with full color ink. Then I linked up the top portion of the word, stamped it onto scrap paper, and then stamped it on my cardstock to get a lighter shade of that color.
For this “fall” version, I stamped the large leaf image using Pumpkin Pie ink. Then I used the Early Espresso Marker to draw in the brown lines down the center. For the smaller leaf I tipped the stamp and inked up half of it with Lemon Lime Twist ink. Then I tipped the stamp the other direction and inked up that side with Call Me Clover ink.
Isn’t is awesome that there are dies that coordinate with these images?! Can you imagine fussy cutting these out?
For this “winter” version, I stamped the pinecones with Early Espresso Ink and then used a Blender Pen to blend the brown ink and color the image in a bit.
I used the same trick that I used on my summer card above for getting the two shades of red on my inside sentiment.

CRAFT & CARRY STAMPARATUS BAG
The Craft & Carry Stamparatus Bag is coming! It will debut December 5, 2018!
I have created scrapbook pages with the contents of every Paper Pumpkin kit since the kits began in March of 2013. Scrapbooking is a HUGE passion of mine! So I created pages once again with the October 2018 Friends of a Feather kit, and I’m excited to share them now! I loved how the laser-cut branch pieces in this kit flipped over looked like they were covered in snow.
And because the stems are so thin, the branch pieces can be manipulated a bit to be either straighter (as in the eyelashes I gave my sweet orange monster that I shared on October 25th) or curvier for when trying to build the perfect wreath.
Want to duplicate these pages? I used five long branch pieces on each page. It doesn’t matter if they are the purple or the orange ones. Either color flipped over will give you white. Here are the measurements and supplies you’ll need.
Measurements of extra products:
Basic Black Cardstock:
Two pieces that are 5-3/8″ x 4″
Two pieces that are 5-3/8″ x 2-3/4″
Two pieces that are 2-1/2″ x 2-5/8″
Eight pieces that are 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock:
8-1/2″ x 11″
Eight pieces that are 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
Country Lane Designer Paper:
One full sheet of the wood grain design
One full sheet of the Blackberry Bliss subtle stripes pattern
Product List… things you might need/want in addition to the October 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit to make these pages

We’ve always enjoyed Halloween at our house, so this past month’s Paper Pumpkin kit was a super fun one for me. I loved the cute character cut-outs and stamp set images. (Oh those spiders!!) So I got to creating right when my kit arrived in my mailbox. The bummer part was with all the other events I had going on in September it took me until today to finally get these ideas on my blog to share with you! I did participate in the blog hop last week, but I alway share so much more!
Here is what came in this past month’s September 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit, Frights & Delights.
Watch my video first to get to get measurements, directions, and tips. Then scroll down to see close-up photos, links for more information shared in the video, and a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) mentioned or used to make my creations.
Here are the bags that the kit instructs how to make. The kit makes eight of each of these for a total of 24 treat bags.
Here are close-up photos of the projects I shared in my video above.

On September 22nd I shared a tutorial video for my “DSP-Saver Card.” I hope you saw it. In that video I shared all sorts of projects that were in my presentation at the Creative Connections event on September 16th. There were a TON of projects and thus a TON of photos. I finally had time to edit, watermark and upload them all. Yay!
Click here to see the project photos and video that I posted on September 22nd.
Click here to see the Vertical Stretch fun fold cards that I shared on September 25th.
Then look below to see photos of (and read a couple tips on) the rest of the projects that were in my Creative Connections presentation.
A big thanks to fellow demonstrator, Marciene Ingram who gave me this pretty birthday card below which led to me designing all the other versions above!
The Frosted Floral designer paper is super pretty especially in person because it shimmers. So it just makes sense to make these elegant gift bags with them. Click here for a tutorial on how to make a bag like this.
Here are a couple more cards I put together using 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ squares of the Frosted Floral designer series paper (DSP).
I sponged on and stamped on Shimmer Paint on the Night of Navy cardstock. 🙂
This flower’s petals come from the leaves in the Iridescent Wreaths.
And here is the card that inspired me to make the two above. This one below as a make-n-take at my upline, Susan Campfield demonstrator event.
I didn’t make these next two “joy fold” cards below, but I’m happy I got them as swaps from Carol Lucas. They were fun to share during my Creative Connections presentation.
And these last two cards that I made just show how you can stray from the designer paper in the suite AND the colors from that designer paper in the suite to give the stamp images a whole new look. These products are so versatile!
Sorry I don’t have details for every card/project shown above. But sometimes I just have to flood you with lots of ideas! I hope you didn’t mind.
We celebrated my oldest turning 13 yesterday. (Can you believe it?! He was only 7 when I first started blogging.) My goal was to share my September 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit alternate ideas with you today, but I didn’t finish editing my video yet. I’m crossing my fingers that my projects and video will be up tomorrow though. Please come back to see what I created with the Frights & Delights kit.
