Today is the last day to sign up for (or have an activate subscription for) Paper Pumpkin so you get in on the upcoming October kit. (See the details below. Today I’ve got a few more projects that I created with the September 2020 “Hello Pumpkin” Paper Pumpkin kit. This image below shows what the intended projects for this kit look like.
I took the kit supplies, added in a few other products, and came up with:
a 12×12 scrapbook page
three cute Bath & Body Works PocketBac hand sanitizer holders
and a fun Halloween easel fold card.
I thought it was best to share the measurements, directions and tips in a video format.
Watch my video first by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations.
Here are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch the video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
A 12×12 scrapbook page
We are looking forward to going to Eveland Family Farm this afternoon. I’m excited to add some photos of our pumpkin finds to this page!
Three cute Bath & Body Works PocketBac hand sanitizer holders
This is the Halloween-themed one I demonstrated.
Here is my cute Thanksgiving one.
And this one has a Christmas look to it.
Here is how I cut my two pieces for the front and back parts of each box.
Remember to hold those center parts with tape on the back sides.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive to connect the two pieces together. You can have either pattern on the outside.
Add color to the box (optional), tape the bottom shut, add the hand sanitizer, tie on the ribbon, and then decorate.
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today!

I’m excited to share with you these Halloween-themed creations made by Lisa Marshall, our September 2020 Stampers With ART Showcase Stamper! Lisa is a fan of roller coasters and plans her travels so that she can visit and ride different ones. I hope to meet up with her someday and ride one with her. Yep…I love those crazy rides, too! LOL
I gifted Lisa the Celebration Tidings Bundle (Celebration Tidings Stamp Set and coordinating Celebration Labels Dies). Then she added in the Hallows Night Magic Bundle and the Have a Hoot Bundle so she could in turn create and share some festive Halloween ideas for us!
I love what Lisa has created! Here are her projects – 5 boxes, 4 small treats, and 7 cards. I also included a bit of Lisa’s information that she shared under the photos. Enjoy!
Snowflake Splendor ribbon changes into any color with a sponge dauber and an ink pad. I used Cherry Cobbler to match the DSP
Super quick 1 Hershey Kiss triangle treats made with the “leftovers”.
Slimline cards are so popular right now I had to try it. The tombstones are made with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. To make tombstones you put a 1 1/2″ strip in this direction. for the background, then make the actual tombstones the regular way in alternating 3/4″ & 1″ widths. I got the idea from Melinda Hart. She has a great video explaining how to do it on YouTube. Ghost is from the Tulip punch and eyes are the OO’s from BOO in Banner Year.
Bridge fold card… I put strips of 1 1/2″ Metallic Mesh ribbon all the way across the front and acetate strips to attach spiders and greeting above the die-cut lace “bridge”. Heat embossed on spider web embossed cardstock using Versamark ink direct to paper.
I used a strip of the 1 1/2″ Metallic Mesh ribbon for the spinner mechanism, but it has stretched out some after a few wind ups. It looked cool, but doesn’t hold up as well as thread or baker’s twine.
I used the super versatile Celebration Tidings bundle and Stitched Rectangles dies. The top spider was die cut with the Celebration Labels dies and popped up with dimensional, but this card could easily be done with just stamps, ink and paper.
Big box lid made with largest Celebration Labels die and a basic box bottom. Little boxes were inspired by Rachel’s card base box from June Paper Pumpkin video. Largest Celebration Labels die, score at 1″ on all 4 sides and 1/2″ from center on each side, parallel to short side.
I used the “pumpkin skin” (aka Old World Paper) embossing folder and wrapped a 3 1/8″ acetate treat box, attached a Celebration Label cut out of Just Jade DSP and tied it up with faux suede trim. Recipient can access goodies by removing ribbon and sliding out box or lifting label and opening box.

And here are the supplies that came in this kit.
I got my kit a little later than I usually do, so today I’m sharing my monthly how-to video here and including LOTS of ideas for you. I’m loving this kit! I combined the extra items in the product list at the bottom of this post to the above kit contents and created some fun alternate projects that I’m sharing with you today:
4-sided and 3-sided boxes
Doubling the treat containers (turning 20 into 40!)
Napkin rings and luminaries for a fall dinner
And several pop-up cards including a multi pop-up gate fold card

Here are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch the video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
4-sided and 3-sided boxes
These two were made by overlapping box segments.
Doubling the treat containers (turning 20 into 40!)
These were made by cutting the boxes in half and connecting the segments with scraps/cardstock to get two treat containers from one!
Two of these face on so you can see how I embellished them.
The third one face on as a dinner favor to go with… A napkin ring and luminary for a fall dinner
3×3 pop-up cards
Pop-up card with money pocket
Multi pop-up gate fold card
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today!

My project idea that I’m sharing today is Halloween treat containers. I realized last weekend, that if September is already here, then October isn’t far away. I’m not sure how trick-or-treating will go this year with this pandemic, but I thought it would be good to start getting ready just in case. And these containers are SOOOooo super easy to put together using our new Little Treats Box Dies.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store. And if you live in the USA and shop with me you will receive the September tutorial bundle FREE with your $50+ order!
Measurements for the striped box…
Whisper White Thick Cardstock
5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″
Black Glitter Paper (mounted on Foam Adhesive Sheets)
Scraps for die-cutting letters
Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon
10″
Directions…
Stamp the stripes image several times on the die-cut unassembled box. I used full color to get the darkest stripes. The lighter stripes happened when I first stamped on my scrap paper and then stamped on my box. This is called “stamping off.” I stamped off once for the next set of stripes. I stamped off twice for the third set. And I stamped off three times for the fourth set. I rotated and repeated on all four sides. And I didn’t worry about stamping in the sections that wouldn’t be seen when assembled.
When I assembled the box, I positioned the connecting tabs this way…so they were NOT inside the box. This creates a smoother “wall” on the inside of your box.
I did use a bit of Tear & Tape Adhesive (which you will see in the photos below). But it may not be necessary as the box is pretty steady on its own.
I tied the top shut with a bow.
And then I die-cut the letters and stuck them on. Gotta love those Foam Adhesive Sheets!
Measurements for the “EEK” box…
Magic In This Night Designer Paper
6″ x 6″
Cajun Craze Cardstock
Scrap for die-cutting scallop circle
Black Glitter Paper
Scraps for die-cutting letters
Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon
10″
Extra Tips…
When cutting from a 12″ x 12″ sheet of designer or specialty paper, the box die will cut from a 6″ x 6″ piece if you angle it. That way you can make the most of the paper.
You can see in this photo how I secured this box with Tear & Tape.
I colored my ribbon with the Cajun Craze Blends Marker. Then after slipping it through the hole, I did an overhand knot to secure it shut. I probably shouldn’t be tying these shut before adding my treat/s. But with my broken toe, I can’t get to the store to buy any Halloween candy (not even sure if it’s available yet). LOL But you get the idea this way. (YES…put the candy/treats in first, THEN tie your bow or knot.)
Die-cut your scallop circle and letters. Add the circle with Dimensionals. Add the letters with sponged-on Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Measurements for the black box…
Black Glitter Paper
6″ x 6″
Silver Foil Sheets
Scrap for die-cutting spider
Metallic Mesh Ribbon
12″
Extra Tips…
This photo shows another way to add the Tear & Tape. Again, this is an optional step, but it will help secure it.
Add the ribbon at the top.
Die-cut the spider, And add it to the front of the box with a Mini Dimensional.
I know this one didn’t use ANY items from the Playing with Patterns Suite, but it coordinated with the other boxes and I just HAD to share it because of that adorable detailed spider.
I hope you enjoyed these treat holder ideas and are now inspired to play with those letter dies and fun decorative stamps in this suite!

The new Magic In This Night Suite is an amazing Halloween-themed set of products. BUT…if you look closer, many of the products could be used to create projects and cards beyond Halloween. I focused on this suite when I decided to make a fun fold card that could hold a bookmark. My husband loves to watch scary movies and read scary books. (I’m total opposite.) His birthday is coming up, so he was on my mind when I created one of these cards. Then I made a second version of this card that didn’t have anything scary at all on it. Both of them were designed using this suite.
I just showed live on YouTube about an hour ago how I made this fun fold card using the Hollows Night Stamp Set, the Halloween Magic Dies, the Magic In This Night Designer Paper, & some Iridescent Pearls along with some other coordinating products. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for what I demonstrated. (Please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can get updates when I share and go live).
