I received my April 2023 All the Little Things Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kit on Monday late afternoon. So I decided to share my first set of alternate project ideas in this week’s Live recording like I did last month (and the month before).
This is what comes in the kit. If you were to make the cards based on the directions, you would get 9 cards total (3 of 3 designs).
But I changed up the supplies to get double the amount of cards! Yay! AND each card is a bit special…stepped up a bit. In my videos below (Parts 1 and 2) I share all 6 of these cards – four in the first video and 2 in the second. Even if you didn’t get this kit, I hope the ideas I share can be applied to other products you own and inspire your creativity!
Watch my 1st video first by clicking here and then watch my 2nd video by clicking here to get measurements, directions, and tips (or you can just click on the images below if you are alreadyin my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my cards. Then be sure to visit my blog again soon, because I have many more alternate projects that I’ll be sharing on May 5th.
Here are the cards the kit instructs how to make. (Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video to help you assemble these as intended.)
And here are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my two videos. (Remember to watch first to get measurements, tips and directions.)

I hope you enjoyed what I shared today! Again…if you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own.

I was looking at the products that are retiring and just had to share a set of outgoing specialty papers that I love so much: the 2022-24 In Color Glimmer Paper. I highly recommend grabbing this up if you don’t have it in your stash yet.
I shared this set of glimmer papers a couple times over the past year by using it in small amounts (on May 4, 2022 for the bird wings and on June 22, 2022 for the fish and the sentiment layer). But the cards I am presenting today really show off a reason to own it. In fact if you’ve followed my blog posts for awhile, this look may be familiar. Here it is with totally different products back on February 27, 2021.
I just demonstrated live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for a putting together a simple yet stunning starburst pattern background that looks amazing with the ombré pattern in these 2024-26 In Color Glimmer Papers. The two cards also feature the retiring Conversation Bubbles Stamp Set & Dies. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you also enjoyed getting some peeks at new products that will debut from the upcoming 2023-24 Annual Catalog which debuts May 2nd.

ALL STAR VIDEO CLASSES I’m a designer with the All Stars, a group of globally recognized Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. I haven’t done a “One Sheet Wonder” in quite some time. And with the anticipation (and now the confirmation) that the designer paper in this suite would be retiring, I created One Sheet Wonder cards with designer papers AND without.
A One Sheet Wonder is basically a way of cutting a sheet of paper/cardstock (with images) in a way where ALL the pieces become layers to decorate and create multiple coordinating cards. I came up with a pattern for cutting 6×6 paper (the size of the Regency Park Designer Paper sheets) so that the pieces cut create layers for and decorate three different but coordinating cards. And because I was worried that the designer paper pack might sell out soon (or even before I shared in this blog post), I used some stamp images in this suite and made my own 6×6 designer papers to show you my first set of cards.
On the left is an example of stamped patterned paper you could create with stamp images (the one I picked for my finished cards is a bit different) and on the right is how you would cut it (or how you would cut any 6×6 patterned paper) when creating the following card layouts…
I have two other sets of cards to show you that I made with the Regency Park Designer Paper sheets. But let me first walk you through this set of three cards. You can then apply the directions and tips to recreate the other sets or different sets that you want to make with other paper patterns.
Products I used… a complete list of products I used is shown below, and everything is linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements (and tips for cutting)…
Basic White Cardstock (or a sheet of Regency Park Designer Paper)
(3) 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ for the inside layers
(3) 2″ x 3-1/4″ for die-cutting sentiment layers
Start with a 6″ x 6″ sheet
Cut off 1-1/4″ from one side and then cut that piece in half to form two 1-1/4″ x 3″ pieces
Rotate the main piece a quarter turn and trim off 2″ to form a 2″ x 4-3/4″ piece
Then rotate the main piece one more time and trim off two 1″ strips to form two 1″ x 4″ pieces and one 2-3/4″ x 4″ piece
Pool Party Cardstock for the card bases
(2) 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4″
(1) 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2″
Pretty Peacock Cardstock
1-7/8″ x 2-5/8″
2-1/8″ x 4-7/8″
2-7/8″ x 4-1/8″
Blackberry Bliss Cardtock
Scraps for die-cutting flowers
Fresh Freesia
Scraps for die-cutting flowers
Directions…
Create your 6×6 patterned paper: Stamp the outline floral images first, then stamp the inside solid images within. I used Blackberry Bliss and Pretty Peacock for my darker colors and had to keep cleaning my outline image stamp and switching colors as I filled in images across the paper. After the outline images were added and everything was spaced well, I stamped all the Fresh Freesia centers first then the Pool Party centers. I added the silver dots after cutting.
Cut the patterned paper using the directions above. Prepare the remaining pieces. Die-cut the flowers, die-cut the sentiment layers, and stamp the sentiments.
Optional…Add super tiny drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to fill in the white space of the patterned paper. Sprinkle on silver embossing powder and tap off the excess. Then heat to create the shiny silver dots. The dots of glue have to be almost microscopic. Hahaha! Seriously don’t make them too big, or you’ll have problems when you try to heat emboss.
Stamp and add the inside white layers. Add the patterned paper and Pretty Peacock layers to the outside front. Add the sentiment layers with Dimensionals. Then add the flowers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Finally add small rhinestones in or around the die-cut flowers.
I hope you enjoyed those ideas! Now to make it even easier, use pre-printed designer paper. On these two other sets I used paper from the Regency Park pack. Remember…one sheet can accent 3 cards. So one pack can make 144 cards if you really want to go that far.
If you want to recreate these cards below, be sure to grab up the Regency Park paper pack before it retires. You’ll also want to invest in any coordinating colors. Oh! And I used the retiring Mango Melody cardstock for the accent flowers. Refer to the retiring products lists to see what is leaving. And then check out the online store to see if the products you want are still available.
Here are the 3 patterns (from each set) photographed separately.
If you want more One Sheet Wonder patterns for creating cards, check out my team member, Mackenzie Grimme’s site, Mackenzie Makes. She shares One Sheet Wonder patterns these quite often and has wonderful ideas!

I had so much fun creating the look of chips & guacamole when I made my Hexagon Pop-Up card that I shared on February 17th that I had to put together another. This time I made it into a festive Easel Card. I kept the look of the guacamole & tortilla chips. But this time I also added in a couple red peppers to the inside. And everything is done with Stampin’ Up!® products.

I just returned from a wonderful weekend up north celebrating my Silver Elite team members, Cheryl Lee and Nancy Forsberg! After the last two years were held elsewhere (online and at an Airbnb in St. Paul, MN), this year’s Silver Elite Retreat was back at my parents’ place in northern Minnesota at their beautiful cabin/home in the woods. My mom and dad once again made it feel like a Bed & Breakfast experience and helped me to really make this get-away something special.
We left the Twin Cities at around 9:30 AM on Friday morning, stopped at Forest Lake Restaurant in Grand Rapids for lunch (yum),…
and arrived at the cabin around 3:00. Normally we would’ve gotten there a bit sooner since it’s less than a 4 hour drive, but it was very windy and snowy for the first part of the trip. And we did what the other drivers around us did and took it very slow.
When we arrived, it was the perfect winter day…beautiful blue sky with temps in the teens.
The forecast for the coming days called for a big drop in temperature though. So after we unpacked, settled in, and visited for a bit, my dad and I went sledding for about 20 minutes or so. I was craving this!! Hahaha! They have an awesome hill up there, but we couldn’t convince anyone else to go with us.
After a tasty taco dinner, we did some paper crafting and finished nearly half the planned make-n-take projects I brought up – we had the energy!
The next day (after a great night’s sleep), we had a lovely breakfast of scrambled eggs, bagels, yogurt, bacon and fruit…
…and then got going on the rest of the projects completing them by early afternoon.
We had so much fun relaxing and crafting. And it made me giggle when I had them try to guess how their pieces would go together for one of their cards before I actually showed it to them. And of course I had to take photos of their guesses.
20 cards from the Enjoy the Adventure Memories & More card pack.
A fun fold card featuring the Easter Bunny stamp set and Day at the Farm Designer Paper.
And cards from the Saying Thanks kit.
I’ll be sharing these last three projects in the near future, so be sure you are subscribed to my blog posts so you don’t miss out.
These are the variations of the waffle cone cards we each made. I even did another version because I didn’t feel my original had enough ice cream. And I added it to my original blog post if you want to check out a larger version of the photo. (Sorry for the lighting in the first 3 images. Photographing at the cabin was challenging me a bit.)
After our chef salad lunch on Saturday with no more planned stamping projects, Cheryl and Nancy got out their wine tumblers (one of the gifts I gave them) and enjoyed a beverage.
We all spent the rest of the weekend talking and laughing, eating more good food (chicken salad, breads, steamed broccoli, and pie for dinner), and enjoying a bit of TV watching Emeril Lagasse cook.
It was too cold to go on a long walk (it was close to 0 degrees F), but we DID venture outdoors to see the “garage room” – another area to stay on their property that is only heated by a wood stove since it sits away from the main house. This is another view of the cabin/house from the deck of the garage room.
And this was the sunset we saw from the cabin on Saturday evening. (Thanks for the photo, Dad!)
Mom and dad, thank you for hosting, having everything so comfortable and welcoming, helping me with the meals, and more! Nancy & Cheryl, thank you for spending this time with me and letting me spoil you a bit! You are both SOOooo amazing.
It was a wonderful weekend with memories to treasure.
Here are the invitations I sent Nancy and Cheryl for this event. I used the new Regency Park Suite of products (paper, ribbon, stamps and dies) accented with the Loose Daisy Embellishments.
The color combination I chose mimicked the Stampin’ Up! floral graphics which you can see on some of the gift items below. I also used my computer to print out the inside invitation and agenda.
Measurements…
Shaded Spruce Cardstock
5-1/2” x 6″ scored parallel to short side at 4-1/4”
Balmy Blue Cardstock
4″ x 5-1/4″ (inside layer)
Scrap for die-cutting frame
Night of Navy Cardstock
Scrap for die-cutting frame
Basic White Cardstock
Scrap for stamping and die-cutting sentiment layer
Regency Park Designer Paper
3″ x 5-1/2″
Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon
16″
Directions…
Add the designer Paper so it’s connected on the front (not the inside) of the Shaded Spruce folded card base.
Die-cut both the Balmy Blue and Night of Navy. Stamp and die-cut the white sentiment layer. Insert the stamped layer into the Balmy Blue corners. Then layer and adhere (with a slight offset to create a “shadow”) the Balmy Blue to the Night of Navy.
Tie on the ribbon with the knot to the right.
Add the sentiment piece with Dimensionals.
Embellish with the Loose Daisies and a few Rhinestones.
And add the Balmy Blue layer to the inside. (I had first printed my invite onto the cardstock and trimmed to size. You’ll need a printer that doesn’t curve the paper much coming through. I own an Epson ET-2750.)
I also made a matching bag tag and a wrap for the recognition block I gave each of them. Basic directions for the wrap can be found here in my 1/9/23 post. The tag is just made of a 3″ x 6″ piece of designer paper, a 2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Balmy Blue that I stamped and embellished, and a strand each of the navy ribbon and silver twine.
Products I used… See below for a general list of products I used for my card, tag and wrap linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Here are the gifts I gave. This is Nancy’s stash…
This is Cheryl’s.
I also gave a bag to my mom.
The bags each included all these make-n-take materials.
And then I also included these personalized wine tumblers purchased through and etched by Tamra Davis from TaDa Moments.
She always does such a great job! Last year she embroidered blankets. And in years past, she has personalized various bags. (Let me know if you have any ideas for me for next year’s personalized gifts.)
Thanks for visiting. I had lots to share. But it was a fun-filled weekend, and I wanted to bring as much of it to you as I could. I hope you enjoyed.

Do you do this, too…make a card, and then make several versions of it? You actually saw versions two & three of my Vertical Center Step Fold cards on Wednesday and Thursday this past week. But before I created those I designed this card that I’m sharing with you today.
Feel free to refer back to the how-to video in Wednesday’s or Thursday’s posts for instructions on cutting, scoring, and folding the base of this type of card (and also to peek at the other Vertical Center Step Fold cards that I made if you missed them earlier).
Some of my favorite childhood memories involved ice cream…celebrating after school concerts at Farrell’s Restaurant, my dad’s malts, neighborhood visits from the ice cream truck, finding ice cream sandwiches in the freezer on hot summer days, etc. So even though I am now lactose intolerant and can’t have actual ice cream treats anymore, the memories are still a treasure. And this bundle was something I purchased right away.
Today’s card features one of these great desserts topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Scraps for die-cutting hearts
Basic White Cardstock

(2) 7/8” x 4-3/8”
Soft Suede Cardstock
7/8” x 4-1/8”
Scrap for die-cutting “waffle cone grid”
Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack
Real Red – 14″
Burlap (Crumb Cake) – 6″
Here are more photos of the finished card.
Tips:
For the two-toned cherry, ink the stamp in Real Red ink. Then ink just the stem in Early Espresso ink. Because the stamp is see-through, you could do this with two ink pads. But if that makes you nervous, you could just use the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker to color the stem on the stamp image before stamping it onto your Basic White scrap.
For the image of the glass, ink up the larger of the two images in Pool Party ink. Stamp it onto scrap paper first. Then stamp it onto the Basic White scrap. This will create a little shade of Pool Party. Then just stamp the second image with full ink to get the darker Pool Party color.
To add the ribbon, wrap the burlap/crumb cake colored ribbon with a Seal Adhesive on the backside from the front to the back of the Soft Suede strip of cardstock. You will have a little over 3/4″ on each end to wrap to the back. Attach the Soft Suede strip to the bottom front of the card. Then wrap the Real Red Ribbon around the bottom section of the card (you will see this one on the inside of the card), and tie in a knot. Adjust so the knot is centered below the milkshake. Secure the knot in place with a Glue Dot.
