It’s been awhile since I’ve shared this fun technique, but I was in the mood to bring out my reinkers and create my own ink pad with baby wipes. Have you tried this before? It’s so fun and so easy.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for the Baby Wipe Technique and the Vertical Center Step Fold Card along with lots of tips and tricks for making two bright and cheerful greeting cards featuring the colors Mango Melody, Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green, and Parakeet Party and the following new Stampin’ Up!® products: the Share a Milkshake Stamp Set & Dies and the Beautifully Happy Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set. Tamra Davis from Ta-Da Moments did the block etching on D size clear blocks. And once they arrived I used new products to “fancy them up.” I wrapped them creatively in the new Favored Flowers designer paper (free with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-Bration). And then I added labels with the Something Fancy Dies stamped with sentiment images from the Something Fancy Stamp Set, the Sentimental Park Stamp Set, and the Lighting the Way Stamp Set.

After the final embellishing I sent these recognition gifts off the each top achiever so they would arrive shortly before we had our 1/3/23 Online Team Gathering. And then at that event I shared ALL the 2021-22 achievers in our group (including anniversaries, title promotions, and more) and revealed who THESE top achievers were. It was a super fun gathering and a great way to ring in 2023!
For those of you curious about how I made the designer paper wrap, here are the measurements, directions and a few photos as a visual aide.
Measurements
Designer paper (non-directional is best)
6” x 8-1/4″ scored parallel to long side at 1-1/2” in from each side & scored parallel to short side at 2-5/8″, 3-1/2″, 6-1/4″ and 7-1/8″
Cardstock
Scraps for the sentiment layers
Ribbon
9-10″
Directions for the wrap
After scoring the designer paper, fold in the two longest sides. They should meet in the middle. Use the Bone Folder to make sure the creases are nice and crisp. Where you see the ends meet is the inside.
Fold along the four other scores towards the inside.
Now create the “pouch” part. Apply the directions from my 2016 how-to video (starting around the 12:30 minute mark) for making the pouch part of the wrap. It involves adding 4 more short diagonal folds. And my video explains it better than I could put in words here.
Afterwards you can add the label pieces, embellishments, and ribbon. I flattened out one of the wraps so you could see what it looks like this way. Here is the outside.
And here is the inside. By the way I didn’t add any adhesive to keep the paper in place around the D-size blocks. It holds all on its own.
This is what it looks like as it closes up into the holder shape. You can see the pouch is opening up the further you close it up.
And then just connect the two ends together to close (the bottom end inserting into the top).
These wraps measure 3″ wide, 7/8″ deep, and 2-3/4″ high when assembled. The video shares this project in a different size. So you could apply this idea to other small objects or card sets if you like to play around with math.

Directions
Prepare all the pieces above.
Stamp the inside sentiment.
Stamp then die-cut 1-7/8” x 1-7/8” Basic White scrap with Lights Aglow small circle.
Die-cut “ring” from Silver Foil 2-1/4” x 2-1/4” scrap using the two middle circle Stylish Shapes.
Die-cut 3-1/4” x 3-1/4” scrap with Labels Aglow large dotted circle, then with largest circle die from Layering Circles.
Fold the designer paper on the score mark. Wrap the small end over the top of the 4-1/8” x 5-3/8” Basic White layer. Then add this all to the 4-1/4” x 5-1/2” base cardstock layer.
Tie on the ribbon onto the designer paper flap. Form a knot and trim the ends. Position the knot so it sits about 3/4″ away from the left edge.
Add the largest die-cut circle with Dimensionals. Add the foil circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Add the white inner circle with Dimensionals.
Embellish with Rhinestones.

Here is what I sent to all my team members that attended/participated in Stampin’ Up!’s November 2022 OnStage event. Since I had several members to send to, it was best to make it a flat project and gift.
I included a note inside the card too that referenced pearls and hearts.

Texture Chic Memories & More Cards
Cut in half at 3-1/8″ (folded card measures 3-1/8″ x 4-1/4″)
2022-24 In Color Glimmer Paper
3/4″ x 3″
Orchid Oasis Cardstock
Scrap for punching scalloped heart
Basic White Cardstock
Scrap for stamping & punching smooth heart
Directions…
Punch the end of the glimmer strip. Add the card.
Stamp the sentiment. Punch it out. Layer this onto the scalloped heart, and add to the card.
Color a large and a small heart pearl with the Blends marker. Allow a few seconds to dry, then add them to the sentiment heart layer.
After preparing my supplies I realized too late that I didn’t have enough of the Memories & More cards. So I used the Texture Chic designer paper with Basic White Cardstock as the base to make a couple more.
I’m glad I was able to attend OnStage Live in Vienna (click here to read about my event experiences) – such a blessing that I earned this perk, but I did miss being with those in my team since all of them attended one of the Local events in the US. I’m looking forward to connecting with them soon to hear about their experiences.

Have you seen the fun Angled Gate Fold cards out there? This fold reminds me of wearing a cozy blanket or shawl. It has that “wrapped around the shoulders” look to it. I’ve received a few cards with this fold and decided this would be a great type of card to show off the new beautiful Fitting Florets designer paper and coordinating products.

I shared a simple card layout this past Monday that featured three panels of different patterns of Rustic Harvest designer paper with a maple leaf focal point in the lower right and a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set cut with its coordinating die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies.
Well…I kept going and made three more cards with a similar layout. The panel measurements are the same. And I used the same Charming Sentiments Stamp Set & coordinating dies for the sentiments. But these cards feature different designer papers and focal points.

Because I can’t quite let go of Summer (we woke to snow on the ground two days ago! 😳), I had to make this cheerful and colorful thank you card.
Tips…
After die-cutting the leaves from Granny Apple Green Cardstock, GENTLY slide the edge of the Granny Apple Green ink pad across the surface. By sliding the edge of the pad with very little pressure, the ink will avoid filling in the embossed veins.
Add the leaves with Dimensionals. Add the sentiment on top of the leaves with Dimensionals.
Embellish the card with the 2022-24 In Color Matte Decorative Dots.
Of course with waking to that snow, this next card is very fitting for this time of year in the northern hemisphere. Plus it uses more of that fun Storybook Gnomes paper that I used to make the Peeking Tree Gnomes cards from this past Wednesday’s Live.
Tips…
Die-cut the mushroom is from the Storybook Gnomes designer paper.
Add the mushroom with Dimensionals. Add the sentiment on top of the mushroom with Dimensionals (double-stacked under the word, “hey”).
Add the snowflake with a Dimensional. Add the sentiment with Dimensionals that have been cut in half.
Embellish the card with the Iridescent Pearls.
