It’s a big week for our family. Our 18 year old son, Luke is moving out to California with his friend Tyler to pursue jobs in the movie industry. I haven’t gotten too emotional yet. But I suppose that’s coming after they take off on Tuesday afternoon. For now we are doing laundry and packing, gathering up some starter groceries, getting in those final appointments (visiting the doctor, getting a haircut, etc.), and checking things off on our lists.
The boys will thankfully be staying with family at their three stops along the way before they get to their apartment. That gives us all peace of mind for sure. But we still welcome any well wishes for their safe travels.

I was asked the other day if I’m still making scrapbook pages with Paper Pumpkin kit. And I am! In fact I’ve made a layout (or at least one page) with 99% of all the Paper Pumpkin kits. Click here or here (my archive) to visit past kit creations I’ve shared.

🦋 Halloween Treat Container Inspiration
And for my last part of today’s post, I decided to photograph and share a bunch of Halloween treat packaging ideas! The first photo shows super simple ways to use the Spooky Sweet Suite of products (the stamps, dies, paper and bags) and the Fright Night Bundle to “fancy up” Reese’s treats and Hershey bars. I put these together in just a matter of minutes!
The topper for the bag is 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ scored at 1-3/8.” The wrap for the candy bar is 5-1/4″ x 6.” At the bottom of my post is a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find and purchase them in my online store).
The rest of these photos share the talents of fellow demonstrator, Rose Kerry. She gifted ALLLLLL these boxes, pouches and goodies to me! And I’m so excited to show them off to you in photos!! By the way I also shared these at the end of my October 4th video (fast forward to the 1:28:20 minute mark).
I don’t have measurements and a list of supplies for these. I’m simply sharing them to show off Rose’s talents and give you a bit more creative inspiration!

I love to show kit subscribers other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I have several different card ideas and a 3-D idea for you along with lots of tips and tricks. Earlier today I demonstrated these ideas during my Live Online Paper Crafting Class on YouTube. Tulle Shaker Card Visit my 7/30/25 blog post for details on putting together this type of card.
I applied Tear & Tape Adhesive to front of one frame and back of the other. Then I added tulle to each layer and trimmed the edges. (The one I’m holding is the bottom layer.)
Then I added 3/16″ wide strips cut from Foam Adhesive Sheets to the frame of the bottom layer making sure to have no gaps. I peeled off the backings so I could add the other layer on top. But before doing so,…
I put my Cajun Craze Two-Tone Cardstock confetti and a few of the shiny reddish and greenish circles from the Loose Shaker Elements within the “walls” of the foam adhesive sheet strips. Then I stacked/connected the two layers together to form the shaker portion of the card.
Lastly I simply glued this to the front of the kit card base and added the sentiment strip with a couple glue dots.

What a week! I’m starting to catch up again though. In today’s post you will see links to my two last Lives, photos of the cards I created and shared in my “Masking & Silhouette Stamping” Live, AND one more project that I created with the Farmhouse Florals August 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit – a 12×12 scrapbook page layout.
For those of you who follow me on Facebook, in my newsletters, and/or on my YouTube Lives, you know that our youngest Luke just had hernia repair surgery on Thursday. He is doing great and taking it easy as he heals from this before his big move to Los Angeles next month.
I also had a minor medical procedure Wednesday afternoon. So both of us are on the mend. And my mother-in-law is on hospice care. So my husband was out of town Friday through Sunday. Hence the reasons I’ve been behind in my blog postings. Thank you for your patience.

And now I present my full two-page 12×12 scrapbook page layout that I created with the Farmhouse Florals August 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit. The page bases are the light side (left) and dark (right) sides of the 12×12 Lost Lagoon Two-Toned Cardstock layered with 6×12 dark sides of Secret Sea Two-Toned Cardstock.
For the left page I layered sections of kit card bases together…upper right is 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, upper left is what was cut off 3″ x 5-1/2″, lower left is full card base, and lower right is 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″.
After adding these to the base page with a 1/2″ border on the top and sides and overlapping the bottom right to cover up the bottom of the upper right, I used two envelope flaps, another kit card base (2-1/8″ x 5-1/2″) and some Mossy Meadow/Gold Ribbon for the title section.
I connected one envelope flap and the ribbon to the back side of the kit card layer. And then I attached this all with Dimensionals to conceal the bag and just show the flowers.
I cut out my letters from the second envelope flap and glued them (applying the glue with the Silicone Brush and/or the Precision Tip bottle) to the title area.
I stamped some extra flowers with Crushed Curry ink and dotted the centers with a dark brown Blends Marker. Then I embellished with extra kit flowers and some Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies and Birds.
For the right page I layered two envelopes and a couple sections of kit card bases together…a full 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ card with a 3″ x 5-1/2″ piece from other cut base on the left page.
After overlapping and adding these to the base page with a 1/2″ border on the top and sides to form a 10-1/4″ x 11″ rectangle, I cut a half bag/flowers image and two circles from another kit card. Then I placed the half bag/flowers and my photo mats in this way.
I attached the die-cut circles with Dimensionals to conceal the bag and just show the flowers. I stamped some extra flowers with Crushed Curry ink and dotted the centers with a dark brown Blends Marker. Then I embellished with extra kit flowers and some Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies and Birds.
This would be a perfect layout to feature friendship or other close relationship (engagement, prom, wedding, anniversary) photos.

Wow! I received my August 2025 Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumpkin kit in record time! Normally I’m one of the later ones and typically get it around the 19th or 20th of the month. But I received it Saturday and have been happily creating with it during the past several days. So today I’m super excited to share with you my first set of alternate project ideas.

I love to show kit subscribers other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I have several different card ideas for you (including 9 cards that I made from the supplies of 3!) and lots of tips and tricks. Earlier today I demonstrated these ideas during my Live Online Paper Crafting Class on YouTube. Maybe you tuned in?

I have three more projects to share with you that I created with the Sweeter With You July 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit.
My full two-page 12×12 scrapbook page layout was SOOoo fun to make. I got the idea to distress/sand the light two-tone cardstock on the left page along the left side and bottom from a card I saw on Pinterest. And then the creative juices started flowing. I distressed the edges of the light Garden Green layers to expose the white core and inked the edges of the dark layers with Garden Green ink. Both techniques made the edges “pop” so much more.
For the right page, I added my outer four 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ photo mats 5/8″ from the outer edges, added the four others in-between, and then added the decorated pink square in the middle with Dimensionals.
To decorate that square, I sponged the edges with Strawberry Slush ink. Then I added the branch of berries and trimmed up the bottom of the stem. I added the flowers with the Flower Accents embellishments in the centers. And lastly I added a bow of Linen Thread that I had colored slightly with a bit of Garden Green ink.
You may notice too in this photo that I used a Bone Folder and Dimensionals to give lift and shadow to the strawberry, leaf and flower accents. I did this in fact for both pages. And then I splattered on Poppy Parade Blends ink and Wink of Stella for speckles, sparkle, and texture.
For the left page I added the distressed 11-3/4″ x 11-3/4″ light Garden Green page layer to the 12″ x 12″ dark Garden Green. I added my upper right 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ photo mat 5/8″ from the outer edges, added the three others nearby, and then added the YUM pink letters along the left side with Dimensionals (which I also sponged with Strawberry Slush ink along the edges).
I finished off by building a larger and a smaller cluster of berries and flowers in the two bottom corners making sure I trimmed anything that extended beyond the edges of the light Garden Green.
And of course I splattered on Poppy Parade Blends ink and Wink of Stella for speckles, sparkle, and texture.
Well, below is my completed card that I was working towards, and I’m quite happy with it. It’s sweet and simple. The “fabric” underneath is from a kit envelope flap. I added extra lines of marker (Granny Apple Green and Pool Party) to the lines in the plaid pattern to jazz it up a bit.
The bottom of the plaid “fabric” and the largest strawberry are attached with Dimensionals. The top of the plaid “fabric” and the smaller strawberries are just stuck down flat.
And the card base is the green kit card folded inside out. (There is a rectangular layer of white from the rest of the envelope on the inside for a place to write.)
I made and shared the blue version of this card a couple weeks back. This peach version includes “jazzed up” plaid background paper where I once again added extra lines of markers (Peach Pie and Poppy Parade).
You can watch my 7/23/25 video for the card assembly directions and tips. I had also promised to share this peach version, but I never got the demonstrating the plaid for both the above and below cards and had to wait to share them here.
OH! I also added in some Lemon Lolly ink with a Blending Brush in the background of both white layers.
