I made a bridge fold card to share with you today. And what’s fun about this one is I created the look of a an actual bridge with the new Elegant Borders Dies and added on it the walking rhino image from the new Rhino Ready Bundle (Stamp Set & coordinating Dies). So it’s my Rhino-on-a-bridge Bridge Fold card! (I’m giggling.)
The images in this set are so adorable. I’m in love with this birthday card, and know it will delight whoever receives it. Below is what it looks like on the back.
I’ve shared how to make bridge fold cards in the past. But if this is a new fold to you, I invite you to watch my tutorial from my 2/24/17 blog post to get a feel for how this kind of card can come together. Another one of my favorites was from my 2/21/18 blog post when I turned the supplies from the Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin kit into a picnic table (upside down, this card looks like a table).
Here is a view from the top of my Rhino-on-a-bridge Bridge Fold card! (I’m giggling again…catchy, right?)
A bridge fold card can flatten in either direction to fit into an envelope for mailing.
Here are the tips and details for this card in case you want to recreate it.
Products I used… See below for a list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements…
Garden Green Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 8″ scored in at each end at 1″ and 2″
1-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ for die-cutting the canopy of foliage at the top of the card
Scraps for die-cutting leaves
Basic Gray Cardstock
1-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ for die-cutting the canopy of foliage at the top of the card
Enjoy the Journey Designer Paper
3-3/8” x 4-1/8”
Basic White Cardstock
3-3/8” x 4-1/8”
Scraps for stamping and die-cutting rhino/bird image and little bird
Scrap for stamping and punching sentiment oval
Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Scrap for punching sentiment layer
Tips…
Color (with the Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen) the stamped rhino and bird images. Then die-cut. I find it’s much easier to do it in this order so you have more cardstock to hold onto while coloring. There are two images to die-cut and two to just stamp on the back white layer.
To create the orange layer between the white sentiment oval piece and the yellow scallop oval piece, color a thick line of the Pumpkin Pie Watercolor Pencil as shown below. Then swirl the tip of the Blender Pen to draw the color up nearer to the edge for the new scallop layer.
Multipurpose Liquid glue on the detailed areas of the bridge help connect the rhinoceros/bird image. You’ll also want to use this glue for connecting the sides of the bridge and the sides of the canopy to the outer areas of the card. (Flatten the card in one direction when attaching these connecting pieces.)
Wink of Stella on the detailed areas of the bridge help give it a more metallic look.
The big leaves and the white sentiment oval are added with Mini Dimensionals.

I have another version of the Side Window Easter Egg Card to share today. This time it’s featuring the elegant Dry Brush Metallic Designer Paper.
This one is similar to the one I demonstrated during my Wednesday Live. (Which version calls to you more?) Be sure to catch the recording of that Live in my March 15th blog post. In that recording I share the step-by-step directions for this type of card, so you’ll want to watch that video if you didn’t see it yet.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Imperial & Metric Measurements…
Basic White Thick Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11” [10.5 cm x 29.7 cm] scored parallel to short end at 5-1/2” [14.8 cm]
1/2″ tall strip
Dry Brush Metallic Designer Paper
Three die-cut ovals for the eggs
Parakeet Party Cardstock
4-1/4” x 5-7/16” [10.5 cm x 14.7 cm]
Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Scraps for die-cutting foliage
Remember to stamp on the inside of the white card base after cutting the side window but before adding any layers to the front.
Feel free to add a third egg (on the inside) similar to the cards I shared on Wednesday. In hind sight I think I would’ve done this myself. But I was limited on the metallic paper.
I had made multiples of this version of the card – this “congrats” version below – for my welcome cards for those who were new to my Stampers With ART Community last month.
As you can see with these sentiments this card could be given to a new couple becoming engaged or getting married. But for a new demonstrator joining my group, I thought the words were appropriate congratulating them on their decision to get the starter kit and to have a fun journey on the demonstrator side of things.
Gosh…now I’m in the mood to decorate our house for Easter. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend.

Today I’d like to share how to make a fun and easy Side Window Easter Egg Card. If you don’t celebrate Easter with eggs, this could become a spring card – blue robins’ eggs with blue designer papers – instead. Or it could even be a card with sentiments for a new baby. Eggs can represent birth.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with the Framed Florets Dies, Tea Boutique Designer Paper, Celebrating You Stamp Set, Banners Pick a Punch, Elegant Eucalyptus Embossing Folder, and other coordinating product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.

Oh yes, you can get a TON of cards from this new Kits Collection kit, Colorful Kaleidoscope! Eek! If you follow the kit directions, you can assemble 9 cards: 3 of these three designs.
But what I did was take the supplies for the three different kinds of cards, spread them out, and turn them into fifteen cards. If you repeat what the designs that I share today with the supplies for the other two sets, you will get 45 cards from one kit. Crazy, right?!
I love the gold foil in the main card base pieces in this kit.
This metallic accenting AND the details in the laser-cut layers make creating with this kit SOOOooo much fun!
So what extra products will you need to quintuple the kit?
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
InitialMeasurements…Start out by cutting 45 Basic White Cardstock card base pieces that are 5-1/2” x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4.”
To turn the nine cards that you can make from the kit into 45, you’ll need to bring in outside envelopes too which means you can use the decorative kit envelopes in the creative designs for these additional cards.
Use the kit envelopes for designer paper and card layers.
Then add in 45 Basic White Medium Envelopes.
Here are the first three of 15 different designs I came up with. The blue layer from the kit card base is 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8.” I added these laser cut layers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue which I sponged onto the backsides. The Silicone Sheet is great for using as a surface for the glue. And then I just made sure not to move the laser cut piece on my Grid Paper surface while applying the glue. Check out my Reel on Instagram or Facebook to see a quick look at these cards coming together.
Here are cards 4 & 5 of 15 different designs I came up with. The blue decorative layers from the kit card base are each 2-1/8″ x 5-1/2.” The Gold Trim initially measures 16″ for each card.
Here are cards 6 & 7 of the 15 different designs I came up with. The gray decorative layers from the kit card base are each 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2.” The gray plain layers from the kit card base (on the inside) are each 2-3/4″ x 3.” The Gold Trim initially measures 10″ for each card.
Here are cards 8 & 9 of the 15 different designs I came up with. The coral decorative layers from the kit card base are cut down the middle of the center star. The coral plain layers from the kit card base are 1-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ (the Just Because card) and 1-3/4″ x 4-1/4″ (the Thank You card). Then there are two strips 1-1/8″ x 4-1/4″ each under the top edge of the decorative layers to create borders. The Gold Trim initially measures about 6″ for each card.
And below are cards 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 of the 15 different designs I came up with. The decorative layers from the kit envelopes start out as full 2-3/8″ x 5-1/2″ pieces (as you see in this photo).
But then I cut each at their score line and arrange these two pieces on the card so the non-decorative area is more towards the inside. The plain layers from the kit envelopes (on the insides) are each 2-1/4″ x 3-3/8.” The Silver Trim initially measures about 6″ for each card.
I hope I inspired you. Be sure to grab up one or more of these kits before they sell out.

I paired up the VersaMark Ink Pad, the dust from Soft Pastels, cotton balls (though Sponge Daubers also can do the trick), and the Simply Fabulous Stamp Set to create today’s bright and cheerful (and very easy-to-make) hello card.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
1-9/16″ x 4″ (or more)
Start by inserting one end of the cardstock strip into the Essential Tag Punch. Make sure just a small bit of the strip is inserted into the decorative end of the punch and the rest is trailing outside. The goal is to make a longer tag shape. Make sure everything is aligned and straight, then punch. Stamp the sentiment as shown. Then use this stamped strip as a guide for placing/arranging the floral images onto the card base.
Pull the strip away and use the E size (or even F size) Clear Block to pick up all the stamps at once.
Ink up all of these stamps with VersaMark Ink, position the sentiment strip over the top of the block so it lines up with the images again. And then stamp these floral images onto the card base keeping the top and bottom of the sentiment strip parallel to the top and bottom of the card.
Use the edge of your Paper Snips to gently scrape off a bit of dust from the Soft Pastels chalks. Then use cotton swabs, cotton balls, or Sponge Daubers to pick up the chalk dust and tap it onto the VersaMark inked images. The chalk dust will cling and absorb into the sticky, clear ink and give the stamped images soft haloed hues. You can deepen the colors by adding more dust.
After coloring the initial flowers, stamp a couple more floral images and color those. Then add the sentiment strip with Dimensionals and trim off the excess. Use the Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to draw dots and lines on the outside edges of the card. I purposely made mine a bit squiggly for a bit of whimsy and a more relaxed look. So don’t worry if you can’t make a straight line. You won’t need to here. Embellish with Iridescent Pearls. Write a sweet note on the inside and send off to a special person.
Thanks for stopping by to see what I had to share today.

Today I’ve got for you a fun fold card idea that is new to me. I got the idea from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Susan Campfield (my upline). She calls this fold the “flying seagull” fold which makes total sense, because it looks like a bird with its wings outstretched when open. I’ve also got some Sponge Dauber techniques to share.
A few hours ago I was live on YouTube and on Facebook and went through step-by-step directions for how to make this fold and do these techniques in four eye-catching cards that feature the By the Bay Designer Paper, the Seaside Bay Stamp Set, Fine Shimmer Paper, Sponge Daubers, Masking Paper, the Seashells Embossing Folder, and the Splatters Embossing Folder.
And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post.
