Have you seen these fun bridge fold cards?
They stand up when open and they fold flat (in either direction) for mailing.
Here is another version.
This card was much easier to explain in a video. So I recorded this yesterday. I messed up a couple times, but I didn’t have time to re-record since my kiddos were being kind enough to entertain themselves outside for awhile so I could have it quiet in the house. Hope you can giggle along with me.
Here are those measurements again…
- Old Olive cardstock: 3″ x 4-1/4″ and 8″ x 4-1/4″ scored in at each end at 1-1/4″ and 2-1/2″ (can make two from one sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″)
- Whisper White cardstock: two pieces that are 2-3/4″ x 4″ each and scraps for punching flower accents
- Whole Lot of Lovely designer paper: four pieces that are 1″ x 4″ each
- Pool Party cardstock: scraps for punching flower accents
This is my third version.
Here’s a fun glance at the front of them all at once.
And here are the backsides.
I hope you enjoyed this fun card idea, watched the video and learned some great tips for recreating one. I love fun fold cards! If you are on Pinterest, I invite you to follow me and see what I pin. In fact, I have a board just for fun fold cards. 😀

I was still trying to decide what to make for swaps at On Stage (April – Las Vegas) and narrowed it down to two. Bridge fold is one I’ll be making but I lost the instructions. Then I remembered to look on Demonstrator Planning for the files. Came across yours as the one I liked best and seemed the easiest. Mostly I just needed the measurements because I couldn’t remember them. You’re a God send!! I’ve been sick for three weeks so I haven’t even started but I’ll be working fairly steadily now. Thank you so much.
Thanks so much Barbara! So glad you like and appreciate what I shared. Best wishes with your swaps. 🙂
