I rushed right into creating with my new December 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit because my mind was racing with alternate project ideas the moment I opened the box AND because I wanted to share with you right away. With my family on vacation for two weeks for the holidays I wanted to be sure to share with you before all of us went on relaxation, sleeping-in-late mode. ?Hahaha!
This month’s kit (titled Something for Everything) included supplies to put together 12 attractive all-occasion cards (4 of 3 designs). And it included the supplies shown below.
I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So I added the extra supplies in the product list at the bottom of this post to the above kit contents and created my alternate projects that I’m sharing with you today:
Three K-Cup holders
A simple congratulations card
A flower pot card
A pyramid/teepee card
And a 12×12 scrapbook page
Watch my video first to get to get measurements, directions, and tips (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations. Then be sure to visit my blog again soon, because I have many more alternate projects that I’ll be sharing in early January. ?
Here are the cards the kit instructs how to make.
And here are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch the video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
Three K-Cup holders
A simple congratulations card
A flower pot card (A correction to the flower pot card: the measurement for the base piece is 3-1/2 x 8-1/2″ as I mentioned. The print across the screen is incorrect. I’m so sorry for any confusion this caused.)
A pyramid/teepee card
And a 12×12 scrapbook page
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today!

This past Wednesday during my Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook, I shared how to make a card that folds into a short-sleeved shirt. This fold has been around for years. But the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Paper brought it back to mind for me. I paired this paper and this fold with the stamp set called A Good Man and created this card for one of the make-n-take projects I did with my demonstrator team three weeks ago.
I uploaded the recorded version of my Facebook Live video to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). And then I was able to share it here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), scroll through the close-up photos, check out the products list below the photos, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for these cards.

This past Wednesday during my Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook, I shared how to make a Corner Pop Up Gift Card Holder. This fun fold card starts with a square piece of cardstock folded almost into an origami square base. It’s pretty easy to make, but like many fun folds it’s much easier to explain HOW to make in a video.
Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for the card I demonstrated (and it’s “twin.” And below that are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for the Feels Like Frost cards.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
I used the beautiful See A Silhouette Designer Paper and the Wonderful Moments Stamp Set with this card that I demonstrated.
Measurements…
Crumb Cake Cardstock
8” x 8” scored in each direction at 4” and then diagonally one direction corner to corner
Here are some photos of both cards together – the one I demonstrated and it’s “twin” (the sample card I had made beforehand).
Susan’s card was the one that we shared at our Demos Galore last month and it was created with the stunning Feels Like Frost Designer Paper and the Free Skate Stamp Set. Her card is the one on the left. I used the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set to make my version of it (on the right).
Measurements…
Whisper White Cardstock
8” x 8” scored in each direction at 4” and then diagonally one direction corner to corner
Thanks for visiting! And thank you Susan Campfield for sharing this fun fold idea with me!

I’ve been enjoying my own personal retreat this week catching up on some scrapbooking. I’ll be missing out on the retreat I usually go on in January since I’ll be going to Disney World as a chaperone on my son, Nick’s Jazz Band Field Trip. Bummer right? hahaha… I’m not sad, but I couldn’t do both. So I’m set up in my craft room with photos all around me trying to get caught up a bit more on my boys albums. I really COULD use a whole month’s retreat, but I think that’s pretty common with us scrapbookers – we never feel caught up.
I bought the For the Win Stamp Set when the 2019-20 Annual Catalog first debuted because Nick loves to play sports. I thought it would be a great stamp set to scrapbook with. So far I’ve used it to make a few team birthday cards, though. I love that the new Come to Gather Designer Paper in the 2019 Holiday Catalog includes a couple sheets that look like lined notebook paper. So I brought the stamp set and this paper together and created this fun card.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements…
Real Red Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2”
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
3-1/2” x 3-1/4”
2-3/4″ x 4″
Whisper White Cardstock
Scrap for stamping and punching baseball
Scrap for stamping and punching soccer ball
2-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
Two scraps for stamping and trimming inside sentiment – one for Real Red and one for Pumpkin Pie
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Scrap for stamping and punching soccer ball
Come to Gather Designer Paper (wood grain pattern)
4” x 5-1/4”
Come to Gather Designer Paper (lined notebook pattern)
3-1/2” x 3-1/4”
1-1/2″ x 5-3/8″
Directions…
Stamp and punch the balls: basketball in Cajun Craze ink on Pumpkin Pie Cardstock scrap, baseball in Real Red ink on Whisper White Cardstock scrap, and soccer ball in Jet Black ink on Whisper White Cardstock scrap.
Position 3-1/2” x 3-1/4” tipped a bit on the left lower section of the wood grain Come to Gather designer paper. Adhere soccer ball as shown below so it’s under the black a bit. Then adhere the black.
Trim the excess Basic Black cardstock extending beyond the wood grain paper.
Position the 3-1/2” x 3-1/4” lined notebook Come to Gather designer paper on the black. Stamp the “Birthday MVP” image. Then adhere the designer paper on the black so just 1/16″ of black is showing on the top and right side.
Color the MVP letters of the sentiment stamp with Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, and Cajun Craze markers (all from the Regals Collection).
Then trim up the excess designer paper extending beyond the wood grain paper.
Add the basketball and the baseball as shown using Dimensionals.
Add a copper Star Designer Element.
For the inside, add the 1-1/2″ x 5-3/8″ lined notebook Come to Gather designer paper on the left side.
Stamp the “hip hip HOO RAY!” sentiment in Jet Black on the 2-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ Whisper White piece. Stamp it again in Pumpkin Pin ink on a white scrap. And stamp it once again in Real Red ink on another white scrap.
Stamp the image of three stars above the Jet Black sentiment. And add a copper Star Designer Element underneath. Attach this to the 2-3/4″ x 4″ Basic Black piece and add to the inside of the card.
Trim around the “HOO” and around the “RAY!” on the white scraps. Then add these words to the black sentiment using Dimensionals.
I hope you enjoyed this card idea. Back to my scrapbooking now. ?

WORLD CARD SENDING WEEK Did you take part in World Card Making Day this past weekend? My family was out of town for a wedding. But I made several cards last week and prepared a few customer thank you when I got home on Sunday night.
Stampin’ Up! would now like to assign this week (October 7-12) World Card Sending Week. They have sent out a challenge to our demonstrators to send 50,000 cards during this time—that’s about one per demonstrator, but of course our customers’ cards count too! So report back to me (by the end of the week) to let me know how many cards you’ve mailed this week. I’ll keep a tally, and then I’ll report our amount to Stampin’ Up! (Personally I think we can surpass this goal. I’ve send 30 so far!)

I can’t get enough of this beautiful Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper!!
This paper comes in a 6″ x 6″ size. Thank goodness! Because I could NOT bring myself to using just a small piece of this gorgeous imagery. I had to use the full 6″ width when I came up with a design that I’m calling the 3-Panel Scenery Z-Fold Card. Just a small 2-3/4″ wide piece is on the front of the card. But when it opens, the rest of the paper is revealed. Can you imagine how big this card would be if the designer paper came in 12″ x 12″?!
Yesterday I posted my video where I shared how to make a this fun fold using the Dinoroar and Bird Ballad designer papers (both part of the BUY 3, GET 1 FREE promotion which ends September 30).
And today as promised I’m sharing photos, measurements and supplies for the ones I made with for my team with the Feels Like Frost paper.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements for Feels Like Frost Card…
Base cardstock (Night of Navy, Merry Merlot, Pretty Peacock, Blackberry Bliss, or Early Espresso)
5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 1-1/2” and 4-1/4”
Whisper White Cardstock
1-13/16” (or just over 1-3/4”) x 5-1/4”
Scrap for stamping and die-cutting front sentiment piece
Scrap for die-cutting accent branches/snowflakes
Feels Like Frost Designer Paper
6” wide x 5-1/4” tall – cut into 3 sections 2-3/4” wide, 1-1/8” wide and 2-1/8” wide
I made 24 of these cards, but I think I need to make more. They were so much fun AND so easy.
Here’s diagram of how I cut the Frosted Frames die. (This was added to my blog post at a later date to help someone who requested this information. Hope it helps you, too.)
