Today’s card features a sheet of the Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper cut into 4″ x 4″ squares. You can get nine from one sheet. And as you can see you won’t waste any of it. In fact I still have three more pieces to make three more cards. I love making the most of my designer paper.
Oh wait! The cards are hard to see when they are squished together like that. This second photo shows the full cards a little bit better. The two in the upper right are still overlapping though. Hahaha…Yep, I put one of the papers on in the opposite direction than the others, but it still works with this pattern.
This was a very easy card to make. And after I made several as congrats cards for some of my team members, I realized how awesome this design would be if you had graduation parties or weddings coming up to attend, because you could customize the accent colors to match school colors or wedding decor. Simply change out the flower ink, sentiment strip cardstock, ribbon, and embellishments. The black and white designer paper (which includes lots of patterns as you can see)…
…the black and white (inside) cardstock, and the vellum can all stay since they are neutral. So of course now I’m tempted to see if I can make a masculine version of this card since we have a few graduation parties to attend soon.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
5/8″ x 4″
Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper
4” x 4”
Basic White Cardstock
4” x 5-1/4” (for the inside)
Pool Party Cardstock
1/2″ x 4″
Vellum Cardstock
Scraps for punching leaves
Pool Party Sheer Ribbon
7-8″
Directions
After cutting and punching all the pieces listed in the measurements, stamp an inside sentiment (I stamped “Wishing You Everything Wonderful” but forgot to photo the inside for you.) on the white cardstock and the outside sentiment on the Pool Party strip.
Use a dauber to color a few of the flowers. Start at the center and use a circular motion outward to get that gradual dark to light look.
Add the sentiment strip to the black strip. Then add this layered piece to the designer paper where it works best with the design. Trim off any excess if needed.
Put Seal Adhesive on the back bottom of the designer paper. Add the leaves where they look best. Use the card base as a guide so the leaves stay within the card edges. Then add more adhesive and attach to the front of the card base so you see an eighth inch border on the top and sides.
Add the inside layer so you see an eighth inch border on the top, bottom, and sides.
Tie the bow and add it with a Glue Dot.
Color the Rhinestones and Iridescent Pearls with Blends Markers. And add to the card where they look best. (I recommend the Balmy Blue Blends for the blue since the Pool Party Blends color was hard to see on the rhinestones.)
I hope these inspired your creativity a bit. Thanks for visiting!

MY FAVORITE EXTRAS I’ve added a new section to my website titled My Favorite Extras. This is where you can find direct links to other products (from Amazon, Stamp-n-Storage, The Country Hive, etc.) that I love, use, and share about.
I just put together my first set of alternate projects using the March 2021 Here’s to You Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kit! And I’m excited to share them with you today!
This kit contained the supplies shown below to make eight full-size cards for celebrating life’s little moments and mountain-high milestones.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show subscribers other ways to use those supplies. I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So today I’m sharing with you…
How I added a few extra supplies to triple the cards in the kit (includes a couple fun fold cards)
How I simply repurposed the kit box to make a gift box
And how I made a masculine-themed birthday 12×12 scrapbook page layout
Watch my video first by clicking here to get to get measurements, directions, and tips (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Scroll down to see close-up photos, access the links that I mentioned in my video, and see a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) that I used to make my creations. Then be sure to visit my blog again soon, because I have many more alternate projects that I’ll be sharing on April 1st and April 10th.
Here are the cards the kit instructs how to make. (Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video to help you assemble these as intended.)
And here are close-up photos of the alternate projects I made and shared in my video. (Remember to watch my video first to get measurements, tips and directions.)
Tripling the cards in the kit With one kit and a few extra supplies you’ll be able to make four of each of the following designs. (I made two sets which is why you see two of each design in the photos.)
Card #1
Card #2
Card #3
Card #4
Card #5
Card #6
And then you just need to add in this many envelopes times four. So use four kraft ones from the kit and another 20 medium Basic White ones to get 24 total envelopes for the 24 cards.
Repurposing the kit box to make a gift box
And a 12×12 scrapbook page layout
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today! If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own.
If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I invite you to give it a try. CLICK HERE to learn more. CLICK HERE to sign up by April 10th for this next kit…

My project idea that I’m sharing today is Paper Wallet Gift Card Holder. I remember making these years ago. And then my team members, Nancy and Kayla shared an adorable one on their blog last spring. So I’ve had it in my head to do one ever since. Well…I ended up making several because they were so easy. And then I ended up making one for each of my stamping club members! (These five are mine to keep.)
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store. And if you live in the USA and shop with me you will receive the August tutorial bundle FREE with your $50+ order!
Measurements…
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/4” x a little shorter than 10” (9-15/16″) scored parallel to the short end at 2″, 5″. 6″, and 7″.
1″ x 7-1/2″
Coordinating Colored Cardstock (I used Crumb Cake, Seaside Spray, and Gray Granite)
2-3/4″ x 4″
1/2″ x 5-1/2″
Foil Sheets (I used Silver and Champagne)
Scraps for die-cutting and stamping the scallop circle and the 6-sided label pieces
In Good Taste Designer Paper
Two pieces that are 2-3/4″ x 4″
Two pieces that are 1-3/4″ x 4″
Flowers for Every Season Ribbon (Misty Moonlight/silver Baker’s Twine)
Two pieces that are 6″ each
It might help to watch Nancy and Kayla’s how-to video. Click here to see it. But I also have some written directions below these photos for the ones I made. Here is what one of the wallets looks like closed.
This is the inside.
And this is the back view.
Directions…
Fold the Basic Black base piece. Pinch the two one-inch wide sections together and secure with a strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive positioned super close the 5″ score line. Punch the slot for the gift card by bringing the Classic Label Punch only halfway in along the 6″ fold.
Add designer paper to the back and inside areas.
Die-cut the foil sheet pieces and stamp with feather and sentiment. Stamp the feather on the 2-3/4″ x 4″ cardstock piece and attach to the inside bottom section.
Tie bows in each piece of twine.
Add the foil sentiment piece and one of the twine bows.
Close the wallet, wrap the Basic Black belly band, and secure with Seal+. Be sure that the belly band can slide off and on.
Wrap and adhere the coordinating cardstock strip around the belly band with the ends meeting in the front. Add a couple Dimensionals to hold those ends. Then add the foil scallop circle piece and the bow.
Then just insert a gift card, add a note, and give it to a friend or loved on.
Here are the four others close up.
I hope you enjoyed this fun fold gift card holder and are now inspired to give it a go!

I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with this new suite. Here are two cards that I thought I’d share today. Each one has slightly different steps when it comes to decorating. But the basic measurements are the same.
Basic Measurements…
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 5-1/2”
World of Good Designer Paper
4″ x 5-1/4″
Whisper White Cardstock (for the inside)
1-5/8″ x 3-7/8″
Coordinating Cardstock (Cinnamon Cider or Early Espresso)
2-5/8″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short end at 5-1/2″
Here are more details for the light brown card.
Additional Measurements for the tag…
Whisper White Cardstock
3/4″ x 3-3/4″
Vellum Cardstock
1″ x 4-1/8″
Tips…
Stamp the hemisphere images randomly on the Cinnamon Cider flap with VersaMark ink. Then stamp the speckles image randomly with Tuxedo Black ink.
Assemble the basic layers of the card.
Punch the tag pieces. Emboss the Vellum one and stamp the Whisper White one with Tuxedo Black ink. Adhere together and adhere to the flap.
Add the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots.
Here are more details for the dark brown card.
Additional Measurements for the tag…
Whisper White Cardstock
1″ x 3-7/8″
Vellum Cardstock
1″ x 3-1/2″
Tips…
Stamp the globe base and the hemisphere image on the Early Espresso flap with Early Espresso ink. Then dip an Aqua Painter brush into a tiny puddle of watered-down Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint…hold the brush end over the Early Espresso flap piece (maybe inside a shallow cardboard box)…and tap the end of the Aqua Painter firmly to add speckles randomly. Allow to dry
Assemble the basic layers of the card.
Punch the tag pieces. Emboss the Vellum one and stamp the Whisper White one with Tuxedo Black ink. Adhere together and adhere to the flap.
Color a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots with the Dark Basic Black Blends Marker and add to the card.
I hope I inspired your creativity today.

On Monday of this week I attended a team meeting via Zoom. We were each challenged to create a card using our own products but following certain measurements and directions. And each of us ended up with different cards but with the same fun fold. I was so in love with the card I made that I changed my plans for what I was going to share during my Wednesday’s Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook Live. (Thank you to Kelly Burkart and Carole Baumgartner for sharing this fold with me and to Connie Stewart which is where they got this fun fold idea from!)
So today I am presenting this tucked z-fold card that I demonstrated using new products debuting June 3, 2020 in the upcoming 2020-21 Annual Catalog: World of Good Specialty Designer Paper, Beautiful World Stamp Set and World Map Dies during my latest Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook this past Wednesday.
I uploaded the recording of this class onto my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook) and shared it here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for this fun-fold card I demonstrated. (Click here to see the glue holder I have.
