On May 21st I mentioned that I would make a more masculine version of that day’s card. And today I am sharing it. This one (the graduation card on the left) also features the Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper and would be suitable to give to a male or female graduate.

Because it is black and white, it’s easy to customize this Perfectly Penciled Designer Paper and personalize the card to match a graduate’s school colors. Simply change out the background ink and sentiment strip cardstock.

Directions
- Use a Blending Brush to add color across parts of the designer paper. Add to the front of the card base.

- Stamp an inside sentiment on the white cardstock and the outside sentiment on the Crushed Curry strip. Add the white to the inside of the card.

- Add the Crushed Curry to the black strip, then to the gold foil strip, and then to the front of the card base..
- Die-cut the mortarboard hat. Use a pencil and ruler on the underside to mark the middle. Use the piercing end of the Take Your Pick Tool to poke a small hole in the middle. Then from the top side, poke through a bit more to make a larger hole. Insert one end of the gold trim. Insert the prongs of the brad. Then secure the brad so the open prongs hold tight to the trim end. Fringe the other end of the trim.

- Use a Bone Folder to curl the copy paper. Using a bit of Tear & Tape Adhesive on the inside, roll the paper into a diploma. Use a Bone Folder to curl the gold foil strip. Keep curling until the foil layer starts to separate from the underside.

- Then peel the layers apart. Add Tear & Tape Adhesive to the back of the foil and wrap around the diploma.
- Add the mortarboard hat with Dimensionals and the diploma with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I get asked a lot what I do with all my cards I make. I find a purpose for almost all of them. This card I shared today?…It’s going neighbor a few houses down. Congrats Brendan!!
