It’s time to share more ideas that I came up with using the contents of the April 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit! Here is what came in this past month’s kit, You Are My Anchor.

Today I have put together a fun 12×12 scrapbook page and a coordinating candy bar wrap to share with you. See below for a full list of extra supplies I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements/Tips/Directions for the 12×12 page:
Crumb Cake Cardstock: 12″ x 12″
Island Indigo Cardstock: 3″ x 5-5/8″, 3-5/8″ x 5-5/8″, 2-5/8″ x 4-1/8″, 3-1/8″ x 2-5/8″ (2 pieces), 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
Pool Party Cardstock: 2-7/8″ x 5-1/2″, 3-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, 2-1/2″ x 4″, 3″ x 2-1/2″ (2 pieces), 4″ x 5-1/4″
Mask the sentiment stamps with tape to ink them, then remove the mask before stamping. Use Fine Tip Glue to adhere the sequins. Add the layered photo mats to the page first. Then add the largest circle tag with a small amount of SNAIL Adhesive, and tuck the smaller circle tags in and around it so that their holes are concealed. Stamp the water images. Add the word banners and the large anchor with Dimensionals.
Measurements/Tips/Directions for the Green & Black brand candy bar wrap:
Pool Party Cardstock: 10″ x 2-1/2″ scored in at one end at 5-3/8″ and 5-5/8″ and then at 5/8″ and 7/8″ at the other end
Island Indigo Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 2-5/8″
Stamp “For You” on a small circle tag. Emboss the longest section of the Pool Party cardstock. Trim end to a “banner.” Add the Island Indigo layer under the embossed section with Tear & Tape Adhesive, and trim end to become a border to the Pool Party banner. Wrap around the candy bar and secure with Tear & Tape. Add the largest circle tag with Dimensionals, and tuck the smaller circle tags in and around it so that their holes are concealed. Use Fine Tip Glue to adhere the sequins. Add the anchor with Dimensionals.
This hop will definitely inspire your creativity! But if you want to see even more, I invite you to visit again this weekend. I’ll be sharing several more of my own creations tomorrow or Saturday.

On a side note for those of you who are wondering about Nicholas… His surgery took place on May 1st. He has been in pain since, so we welcome the times he is fairly comfortable or napping.
Here is a post op photo when we were able to get a smile out of him. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
And Luke had a great time on his 5th grade overnight field trip. I attended with him for the first full day, so here are a few photos from this past Monday (the day before Nick’s surgery).
Thanks for visiting. Have fun on the hop!

Then… there are the drop-dead gorgeous designer papers! This is one of those packs that you may want to hoard, so maybe you should buy at least two. 😉 Here is a very easy but handsome Painted Autumn "grid" card that you can recreate. AND it displays a small piece from nine of the patterns.
I added Copper Metallic Thread in this second version. And I flipped some of the designer paper pieces over to give the card a less "random" look.
Here are the details.
Supplies (Below is another product list with images of each that are linked to my online store.):
Stamps: Painted Harvest (144783)
Paper:
Cajun Craze cardstock (119684): 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” folded in half for the card base
Very Vanilla cardstock (101650): 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” for the inside of the card
Early Espresso cardstock (119686): 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
Painted Autumn designer paper (144613): 9 squares that are 1” x 1” each
(Optional) Copper Metallic Thread (141696): about 30”
Decide on a pattern you’d like your designer paper squares to have. Lay them out on your 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” Early Espresso piece so they are spaced nicely. Then attach one at a time with SNAIL. Hints: If you put just a little SNAIL on each piece initially, you will be able to move the paper again later if it's not in the right spot. I also started adhering my corner squares first.
(Optional) Put some SNAIL under the bottom left corner and upper right corner. Attach loops of Copper metallic thread so the thread loops will peek out.
Position the 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” Early Espresso piece over the Cajun Craze card base without attaching yet. Use this piece as a guide and stamp the outline leaves image in Cajun Craze ink onto the card base so it will appear to be coming out from behind in the upper right and lower left corners.
Attach the Early Espresso piece to the card front using Dimensionals.
Stamp the outside and inside sentiments with Early Espresso ink onto the card front and onto the 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” Very Vanilla piece.
Attach the 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” Very Vanilla piece to the inside of the card.
Stamp one more cluster of leaves on the left inner panel.

Today I have a handsome "north woods" pocket card to share. The pocket is on the inside and can hold a gift card, cash, tickets, a private love note, etc…
To make things easier, I have a 20-minute how-to video for you to view that I recorded live on Facebook last week. (Just keep in mind that is was recorded live. That will explain why I am talking with a few during the recording.)
Here are those measurements again so you can just copy and paste and reproduce this card right away…
Measurements:
Basic Black cardstock: 11" x 4-1/4" scored at 2-1/4" and 5-1/2"
Pear Pizzazz cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4"
Old Olive cardstock: scraps for die-cutting trees and leaves
Copper Foil paper: scraps for punching out deer and label piece
Whisper White cardstock: scraps for stamping and punching out label piece
Merry Little Christmas designer paper (black & white plaid design): 4" x 3"…4" x 2"…4" x 1" (all from the same 4" x 6" piece)
Old Olive 1/8" Sheer ribbon: ~ 18"
And here are a few more close-up photos.
By the way, it was a total coincidence that my nail polish matched! LOL I didn't plan that at all.
Thanks for checking out my blog today. Have fun on the hop. And remember to stamp your art out! 🙂

YIPPEEEEEEE! It's June 1st! The 2017-18 Catalog is now live! CLICK HERE to view it online. (Ordering can begin at noon Mountain Time.) And click here to shop new products in the online store at that time.
There are so many fabulous papers, punches, stamp sets, embellishments, ribbons, embossing folders, dies, colors, tools AND ideas in this new publication. You are gonna love it!
One of my favorite new packs of designer paper is Wood Textures.
I made these super simple Father's Day cards with the small piece from the "stacked logs" sheet.
I love how this particular sheet in the pack of paper gives the illusion of depth. It's perfect for a card like this. And you only need a little bit, so 4 sheets from this 6" x 6" stack of designer paper will go far.
I used the Simply Scored tool on the back side of the cardstock to get the "embossed" lines above and below the designer paper layer. (One could also use the scoring blade on the Stampin' Trimmer and get the same effect.)
If you've followed my posts recently, you may have also noticed these other fun creations that I made with this fabulous paper…
This designer paper is part of the Wood Textures Suite on pages 158 & 159 in the catalog. (Here is a video that Stampin' Up! created showing the goodies in this suite.)
One last idea that I wanted to share with this fun paper is that you can add color to it!
This paper WAS one of the whiter wood sheets, but I sponged on Pool Party and Soft Sky ink to give it a "beach" feel.
I hope you enjoy looking through the new collection of Stampin' Up! products and ideas in the online catalog or in the online store (after noon Mountain Time today). Let me know if you have any questions. And keep in mind that if you plan to order, you need to wait until noon Mountain Time today. (If you are ordering and your order is less than $150, please consider adding a host code to your order. If you are ordering more than $350, then you can take advantage of extra $35 in free merchandise in the We ♥ Hosts promotion. See below for more information)
The We ♥ Hosts promotion is here and runs June 1-30… Workshop Orders, Party Orders, Club Orders, even Individual Orders of $350+ will earn an additional $35 in free merchandise (Stampin' Rewards). Last night my Stampers With ART stars gathered on Facebook for one of our online team events. These are always fun events, because they include make-n-take projects! Each person who RSVPs in time gets a gift from me – an envelope filled with supplies for 2 make-n-take projects. I give links to the "how-to" videos during the team event. People can watch them at any time and replicate the intended projects, OR they can create totally different projects with these supplies.
Today I am sharing one of these two make-n-takes! (I'll share the other one here on my blog in a week or so.)
This is ONE of the projects my Stampers With ART stars were able to make. This box follows the same pattern as the bunny box that I shared on Saturday, March 18. CLICK HERE to get the basic box measurements and directions for assembling. But for THIS box here do not punch the 2" x 5-1/2" strip with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. That way the strip will be tall enough to hold the tool embellishments.
Here is another version…
Okay, I got a little crazy and made another… (I gave everyone enough images so they could choose which decor to put on their treat box.)
And then I shared this card with my team so they could see that they have options for what to make with their supplies. 🙂
Would you like to join in on the fun (and get a discount on your Stampin' Up! products)? This is a perfect time to get the starter kit and become a part of our community. Now through the end of March you can get 2 additional stamp sets of your choice in addition to the $125 worth of product & free shipping for just $99 + tax. CLICK HERE to learn more about our great group and this opportunity for fun!
Product List
Take note that the Retiring Products List will post April 10th. And when it does certain products tend to sell out quickly (sometimes even BEFORE the list posts) like the outgoing 2015-17 In Color re-inkers and cardstock packs: Mint Macaron, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe and Delightful Dijon. So take inventory now and start making those needed purchases earlier than later.
