I love creating multi-layered cards…I love creating fun fold and interactive cards…I love creating cards that show off artsy techniques. But I also love putting together easy cards when I need quick turnaround. Our Memories & More Card Packs and coordinating cards & envelopes are great products for producing these types of cards.
The stamped sentiments come from the coordinating Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set and Blueberry Bushel & Pretty Peacock Ink Pads. And the accent stickers come from the card pack.

Most of the 20 base cards from the coordinating Bright & Beautiful Memories & More cards & envelopes are folded so the color appears on the inside. I guess I wanted the layers on the fronts of my cards to be the focus. And I loved the idea of a bit of color inside.
Below are the 2 sets of 10 different designs and the tips for each. Let me know if you have any questions.

Cut two 3/4″ x 3/4″ squares of Granny Apple Green or Silver Foil diagonally to get the four triangles for the corners.
Add one embellishment on the “i” in Birthday.
Add the front layer up on Dimensionals.

Cut two 3/4″ x 3/4″ squares of Melon Mambo or Mirrored Charcoal Foil diagonally to get the four triangles for the corners.
Add six embellishments on the randomly on the front.
Add the front layer up on Dimensionals.

Cut two 3/4″ x 3/4″ squares of Melon Mambo or Mirrored Charcoal Foil diagonally to get the four triangles for the corners.
Add one embellishment on the “i” in times.
Add the front layer up on Dimensionals.

Add a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ layer of Granny Apple Green or Silver Foil under the main layer.
Add the front layer with Dimensionals. And add the front balloons with Dimensionals.
Add 3-4 embellishments on the front.

Add a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ layer of Melon Mambo or Mirrored Charcoal Foil under the main layer.
Fold back the front half of the card base to create a z-fold. Then add the front layer with Dimensionals (just behind the top half).
Add the front balloons with Dimensionals.
Stamp the inside sentiment. Stamp the balloon image with less ink (stamp onto scrap paper 2 times first to lighten).
Add 3 embellishments on the front.

Add a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ layer of Melon Mambo or Mirrored Charcoal Foil under the main layer.
Fold back the front half of the card base to create a z-fold. Then add the front layer with Dimensionals (just behind the left half).
Stamp the inside sentiment.
Add 2 embellishments on the inside.

My hand is healing. But I’m still taking it a bit slow. So I’m sharing creations from my friend and fellow demonstrator in my Stampers With ART group, Rose Kerry for today’s post.
A few weeks ago she sent me a beautiful card and set of note cards for my birthday. It all arrived right after my injury and just before my hand surgery (she sent it all with her swap cards). So I asked if I could show off her creations in a blog post to fill in a gap when I couldn’t do much creating. She not only said yes, but she also made and sent me some adorable Halloween cards for a second post! How sweet of her. (You can see those on Friday this week. Yay!)
Rose used the amazing Paper Florist Dies to create the beautiful floral clusters on all her projects I’m sharing today. For my birthday card, she also brought in the Masterfully Made Designer Paper (my favorite!) for the backdrop. Just look at the detail in this bouquet!
Rose told me she was inspired by what I shared back on July 20th. And so for my gift she created this set of note cards in this gorgeous decorative paper pouch. For all of these she used sheets from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Paper pack.
She even hand-crafted the envelopes!
Just stunning, right? It’s so amazing what we can create with paper and ink.
I have one more from Rose. This note card was separate from the birthday gift but still coordinated, so I had to show it off, too. It’s a thank you card that she enclosed with her swap cards.

US BACK-TO-SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAY Thirteen states and Puerto Rico are offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies during the months of July, August, or September. Products that are eligible according to the statute include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.” To see the names of participating states, products exempted from tax, and sales tax holiday dates 2023 Tax Holiday spreadsheet here. If you want to get in on the tax holiday, you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.
The fun fold I am sharing today was inspired by a Valentine card I received last year from fellow Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator, Lisa Fisher. And because the Kits Collection Kits are on sale this month I decided to create my altered version of Lisa’s fun fold with the Boho Beach Kit.*
The extra cuts in this Open Gate Fold create extended panels that overlap when the card is closed. And then I used full layers to cover the holes created by the cuts to make the card sturdier but also show off more of the decorative design of the kit card bases.
I can get four fun fold cards from the parts and pieces needed for two kit cards. So by replicating these cards, you can double the cards from your kit!
*The Boho Beach kit is currently unavailable in the US market. But supplies will replenish.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with the Boho Beach Kit and a bit of extra coordinating Stampin’ Up!® product: Basic White and Pool Party cardstock, Pool Party Ribbon, and Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls. I love challenging myself to create beyond intended images. And today I took the balloon tassel die-cut and turned it into a candle flame to make a unique birthday candle card.

US BACK-TO-SCHOOL SALES TAX HOLIDAY Thirteen states and Puerto Rico are offering a sales tax holiday for school supplies during the months of July, August, or September. Products that are eligible according to the statute include “items normally used by students in a standard classroom for educational purposes.” To see the names of participating states, products exempted from tax, and sales tax holiday dates 2023 Tax Holiday spreadsheet here. If you want to get in on the tax holiday, you must place your order with Stampin’ Up! during the tax holiday period in order to receive these items tax-free (which is midnight on the first day to midnight on the last day of the tax holiday). Also, keep in mind that this is a state sales tax holiday; the state statute may not apply to county, city, and special jurisdiction taxes.

CREATIVE CONNECTIONS 2023
About 300 Stampin’ Up! demonstrators gathered this past Sunday in Medina, Minnesota for Creative Connections, a yearly event by leader demonstrators for their demonstrator team members. Stampin’ Up!’s Logan Sutherland and CEO Sara Douglass attended this event which made it EXTRA special this year!
Here are a few glimpses of the fun. Twenty-seven of my team members were able to attend in person and here we are with Sara and Logan for a group photo.
This was one of the 35 global events this year being attended by SU staff members to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 35th anniversary.
I was one of the presenters at the event and shared my Million Sales Achiever stamp set, Layering Leaves. (I’m bummed I didn’t ask someone to take photos of me on stage, but here is a screen shot of the video recording.)
The energy in the room was amazing. Everyone was full of smiles, hugs, and kind words! These next photos are a few I took with or of my incredible Stampers With ART Stars team members.
