I shared two cards recently using the Layering Leaves Stamp Set images in unique and creative ways. The “flower on a stump easel card” I shared on March 10th. And the “bunny & carrots card” I shared on March 12. I knew I wanted to share one of them for today’s pre-recorded Wednesday Online Paper Crafting Class (I’m in Houston at a Stampin’ Up!® convention right now), but I couldn’t decide between the two cards. So I decided to share both in the video and then posts previews, measurements, and supply lists beforehand.
Either one of these is much easier to share directions, tips and tricks in video format. So I’m glad I did it this way. I love the Textured Timber images, purchased the set right away, and was inspired to create this card shown here which I also paired with the Layering Leaves stamp set.
The flower petals come from one of the Layering Leaves leaf branch images! Fun, right?
And it’s an easel card (the reason for the slit on the inside layer).

My 9-year-old niece stopped by this weekend to drop off our Girl Scout cookies we had ordered. She loves the band Blackpink and was dressed in a sweatshirt with their name. And so even though her birthday isn’t until August, I had her in mind when I created today’s card.
I knew I wanted to feature the guitar. But I also really wanted a large vinyl record in the background. Stampin’ Up! doesn’t sell smooth circle dies that are this large. But I figured it out. And it just took a bit of fussy cutting.
I added pinks for the accent colors, but this card can be altered for someone YOU have in mind simply by switching out the inks. (You’ll see examples of that in the video AND in the photos below.)

This is the one I created during the demonstration. You can see the top of the vinyl record on this one only extends to the edge of the designer paper to show off more of the holographic foil.
And the guitars are different. The card I demonstrated features pink rhinestones and a white highlight.
These are the other two versions of this card showing off purples and yellows instead of pinks. The ink I used for these are listed below the main supply list.
Can you see the shimmer on the pick guard (the dark center face of the guitar) and record label?
And this is what the inside of the card looks like on my first one. It’s a fun designer paper print!

I just recently started noticing a special fun fold card out there shared by a few different paper crafters on YouTube. And I decided I wanted to design a simpler flatter version that would fit into the medium (A2 size) envelopes that Stampin’ Up!® offers. I wanted it flatter so that it could possibly even be mailed with a one-ounce stamp. AND I wanted it simpler so it would be quicker to put together.
Well I’m proud to say I did it! My version is made from two long sheets of designer paper and is 4” x 5-1/2” when flattened to enclose in an envelope! So there is no more need to create six individual diamond-shaped sections that need to be glued together.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these Star Column cards with the Most Adored Designer Paper (available only for a limited time), the Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set & coordinating punch, and other Stampin’ Up!® product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. I learned a creative fun fold card from my friend Alanna Wharf. It’s called a Back Fold Card, because the card folds back to allow the front to open. So I thought I would share more new products debuting in the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalog and demonstrate this fold for you today.

I came up with my own fun fold card back in March of 2018. And today I wanted to revive that Vertical Stretch Card to show how to cut and use 6 x 6 paper in the best way with this card fold design. I also figured out the measurements for A4 size paper for all of you that measure using metric!
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube and on Facebook step-by-step directions for creating three Vertical Stretch Cards using products from the Garden Walk Suite: the Modern Garden Stamp Set, the Modern Oval Punch, the Garden Walk Designer Paper, the Blooming Pearls, and other coordinating Stampin’ Up!® product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post.
