With the recent release of Stampin’ Up!’s 2023-24 Annual Catalog came new colors. And within those new colors there is a new family of five called the 2023-25 In Colors. They include these very beautiful earthy tones: Boho Blue, Wild Wheat, Moody Mauve, Copper Clay and Pebbled Path.
When my new products arrived I created a card for each of these new colors using the Timeless Arrangements Stamp Set and Dies. So I thought I’d show them off to you today and give you directions for how I put them together which includes a couple ways to meet two layers together to create an angled background.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. I am in love with the dies in this suite! And so my focus today is on the Countryside Corners dies which I’ve paired up with the Crafting With You Stamps and Dies (for their sentiments and fun imagery). Yes, I deviated a bit from the suite by using another stamp set. But I wanted to share how you don’t have to always keep suite products together when creating. I also stepped beyond the blue hues that are found in the papers of this suite. The blues are gorgeous (don’t get me wrong), but it really is okay to stray from the colors suggested by a suite’s pack of designer paper, too.

As you saw in the video, the main trick is consistent die-cutting of the “rings” with each sheet of colored cardstock. So make sure to keep those dies connected the same way throughout.

Last summer my friend and fellow demonstrator, Linda Lancaster and her husband Butch hosted my family on one of the nights of our big road trip that we took out East in June. I was so excited to finally meet her in person and see their beautiful area where they lived in the mountains. We were spoiled by their gifts, great food, and warm hospitality…such a great time!
Included in the gifts was a card that Linda gave me with a big flower on the front.
It’s a very pretty card and I’m excited to say was the inspiration for the card I’m sharing with all of you today.

Today I’m sharing the second card I assembled after receiving my Million Dollar Achiever stamp set, Layering Leaves.
I was inspired by this pretty card I received from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Amy Rudd. (She used the now-retired Splendid Day Suite to make her card.)
As you can see Layering Leaves is an all-occasion stamp set that coordinates with the Bough Punch.
This set is not available for purchase yet (not even for demo preorder). Stampin’ Up!® sent me my complimentary copy in March. But it will be available when the new 2023-24 Annual Catalog debuts May 2nd.
The first card I shared (and some details about how this set came to be) can be found in my April 3rd blog post. And I have more cards and projects that I’m creating! In fact six of them are for a class that I’ll be offering. And I’ll post information about that class tomorrow with peeks at those cards/projects. The class registration will begin at that time and include different sign up options! 😃

Stamp & Punch all leaves and sprigs. Stamp and die-cut all circles. Prep all the rest of the pieces above. And stamp the ‘best wishes’ sentiment on the second designer paper layer.
For the circle layer…
Add the middle white circle to the blue so it’s off-center. Layer on the leaves and springs gluing sparingly and using the smallest white sentiment circle as a guide as you go. It may even help to just use regular tape to hold things in place.
For the top half I started with the Vellum leaves, then added the large blue leaf, then the stamped green leaves, then the glimmer paper sprigs, then the blue sprig.
For the bottom half I started with the green stamped leaves. Then I tucked in the blue leaves and the glimmer paper leaves.
Fold add the ribbons. Again…adding regular tape may help.
Add the small white sentiment circle with the help of Dimensionals.
Tie a bow in the twine. And add that with a Glue Dot.
Assemble in this order: the circle and leaves layers first, then add that to the first designer paper layer, then add the designer paper layers to the folded card base. The designer paper is thinner than the cardstock. So adding the assembled circles/leaves layer first will stiffen the top layer up a bit and make the over all experience much easier.
I absolutely LOVE the basic sentiments in this set! They make your cards that much more versatile. This card can now be given for any celebration or milestone…graduation, birthday, retirement, wedding, engagement, moving, etc.

I received my April 2023 All the Little Things Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kit on Monday late afternoon. So I decided to share my first set of alternate project ideas in this week’s Live recording like I did last month (and the month before).
This is what comes in the kit. If you were to make the cards based on the directions, you would get 9 cards total (3 of 3 designs).
But I changed up the supplies to get double the amount of cards! Yay! AND each card is a bit special…stepped up a bit. In my videos below (Parts 1 and 2) I share all 6 of these cards – four in the first video and 2 in the second. Even if you didn’t get this kit, I hope the ideas I share can be applied to other products you own and inspire your creativity!
