Happy 5th Anniversary Paper Pumpkin!
The upcoming 5th year anniversary March kit includes a free gift! This would be a great time to get started or reactivate your account so you can see how remarkable these kits really are! I challenge those of you who subscribed back around when Paper Pumpkin first began in 2013 to get back in and see how far these kits have come! Be sure your account is active by March 10th so you don’t miss out.

Click here, login, reactivate, and then choose me as your demonstrator if you wish.
*** Sale-a-Bration is the best time to purchase prepaid subscriptions because you get perks… You get a Sale-a-Bration item for every $50 you spend in ADDITION to the savings with the 6 and 12-month prepaids. Many dedicated subscribers purchase their 12-month prepaids at this time of year. And not to worry if your subscription is automatic and you already have a credit card in the system. The code that you will get after purchasing your prepaid (once added into your account) will override your credit card each month for the time frame of your prepaid. Your card won’t get charged during that time period. EVERYONE can take advantage of Paper Pumpkin prepaids! So I encourage you to consider purchasing a prepaid that during Sale-a-Bration. You can get free Sale-A-Bration items with a 3, 6 or 12-month prepaid. You always save money on the 6 and 12-month ones, but from January 3 – March 31, you can earn freebies. You just pay the additional $6.95 shipping if there is nothing else you are adding to your prepaid order. So if you get a 12 month prepaid, you’d pay $215 plus tax. And then you’d get 4 SAB items and $21.50 in stampin’ rewards (free items of your choice) for the additional $6.95 shipping. If you added other merchandise to your prepaid order, the shipping costs could change. So if you ordered a 3-month for $59 US and then added another $91 in product, then you’d pay $59 + tax and $91 + $9.10 s/h + tax and you’d get 3 SAB items because you have $150 in merchandise, AND you’d get $15 in free merchandise. If you only purchased a $59 3-month prepaid, you’d get to choose one SAB item and pay the additional $6.95 shipping. Every order in the US has a minimum $6.95 shipping if there is product other than the Paper Pumpkin prepaids included in it. And if you are purchasing the 12-month, I would recommend bumping the order to $250. Then you would get an extra $25 free so a total $50 free plus 5 Sale-A-Bration items!

Today is the day where several of us Stampin’ Up! demonstrators bring to you our special “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop. See what I have to share, then check out all the other blogs in the hop to see additional creative alternate paper crafting project ideas that we came up with using the contents of this month’s “Wildflower Wishes” Paper Pumpkin kit. To follow the hop, simply scroll down to click the “next” button or click on the names of other participants in the hop.
With Spring around the corner, I just HAD to make a bunny from this kit. And those round flowers when flipped over look like little fluffy bunny tails. All I needed was the round body and a couple ears! Bunnies are great for welcoming Spring and Easter, of course. So I made a matching basket, too. Another thought though…if a new baby is coming soon, putting together several of these baskets as shower favors would be fun. And the card could be given to the mom-to-be!
I wanted to show you (with the help of a quick video) how I put these together. Watch my video for measurements, tips and directions. Then scroll down to see close-up photos, links for more information shared in the video, and a list of the extra supplies (linked to my online store) I used to make my creations.
Here are a few more photos of this cute bunny card and matching basket.

Happy 5th Anniversary Paper Pumpkin!
Did you hear?! Not only is the February Paper Pumpkin kit on it’s way. But if you have taken a break from (or never subscribed to) Paper Pumpkin paper crafting kits of creativity, you will want to get in on it now so you can not only receive the 5 year anniversary March kit which includes a free gift!,…
…but so you can see how remarkable these kits really are! I challenge those of you who subscribed back around when Paper Pumpkin first began in 2013 to get back in and see how far these kits have come!
The fantastic images that come in the Picture Perfect Party stack of 6×6 designer paper make festive birthday cards super quick and easy to make. Here are three that follow the same measurements. All I did was change up the ribbon, cardstock colors, and the design of the paper. Something even more awesome? The sentiments were all stamped with the same stamp set also named Picture Perfect Party.
We will be making these cards as one of the four sets at my Stamp-A-Stack event going on this week. Here are the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate one of these cards.
Measurements:
Base color (Powder Pink, Pool Party or Whisper White Thick) cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and folded in half for the card base
Accent color (Berry Burst, Bermuda Bay or Lemon Lime Twist) cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 3-1/4″
Picture Perfect Party designer paper: 5-1/2″ x 3″
Whisper White or Whisper White Thick cardstock: scrap for stamping and die-cutting the oval sentiment piece
Coordinating (Berry Burst Metallic-Edge, Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron, Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon: about 9″
Products: See below for a full list of supplies linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Directions/Tips:
Stamp the sentiment onto the Whisper White scrap, then die-cut with the 1-7/8″ x 2-3/4″ oval die.
Cut the coordinating scalloped oval from the middle of the accent color piece.
Assemble the card…use SNAIL to attach the accent color piece and the designer paper piece to the card base, use SNAIL to attach the white oval to the scallop oval, and use Dimensionals to attach the layered oval piece to the card.
The ribbon is attached differently on each card.
On the pink card I folded it in half before adhering the layered oval.
On the blue card I tied it in a bow and attached it as the last step using a Glue Dot.
On the white card I cut the ribbon in half, wrapped one piece around the designer paper layer attaching the ends on the back side before adding it to the card base, and then tied the remaining piece in a knot and added it as the last step using a Glue Dot.
Have a great week! Amazing the March is right around the corner.
Be Prepared For Certain Retiring Products To Sell Out Quickly
The retiring products will be announced some time in April. When they are announced, there will be products that may be sold out within hours or even minutes. So I want you to be prepared so you have time to gather up what you may need. Anything that contains one of these out-going In Colors will “more than likely” be retiring: Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, and Sweet Sugarplum. Go to my online store, and put in the name of each color in the search bar. Then make sure you order what you need sooner than later so you don’t miss out. Now…I say “more than likely” because there is always a chance that Stampin’ Up! may do a color refresh. It’s been done in the past. I don’t have any inside information, but I will share news about any retiring products when I can. On that note, be sure you are subscribed to my blog and my newsletter list so that you can receive the latest Stampin’ Up! news.

Happy 5th Anniversary Paper Pumpkin!

This is a fun-fold that is popping up “here and there” right now. I’ve received swap cards with this fold, too. But I can’t find an official name for the fold. So I’m just gonna call it a right angle fold-over card.
When I recorded this Facebook Live how-to video this past Wednesday, I called the fold by a couple other names (diagonal fold-over & triangle tri-fold). But when I googled those fold names, other card folds came up. So today I’m going with a “right angle fold-over” card.
After recording my Facebook Live, I uploaded it to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). Be sure to watch the video, check out the measurements below so that you can recreate this fun-fold birthday card, and then let me know if you have any questions. If you ARE on Facebook, I invite you to “like” then “follow” my page so you can get updates when I share and when I go live every Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM Central Time.
By the way, this video is unedited. So I just want to tell you a couple things:
The Epoxy Shapes that I colored and added at the end come in BOTH clear and clear with glitter. Both sheets are in the same package. I made it sound like you could get either/or.
And the confusion I had with Michelle ink to stamp comments happened because my mind was already on the ribbon coloring. Comments are delayed when broadcasting. Michelle was referring to inking up the stamp with a Stampin’ Write marker instead of using the pad and masking.
Here are the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate this card.
Measurements:
Rich Razzleberry Cardstock:
8-1/2” x 11” scored in half in both directions at the 5-1/2” mark and the 4-1/4” mark…then cut diagonally corner to corner for the base
Scraps for punching 2”, 1-1/2” and 1-1/4” circles
Whisper White Cardstock:
4” x 5-1/4” for the inside
Scraps for stamping and punching 1-3/4” circle
Powder Pink Cardstock:
5” x 3-3/4” cut diagonally corner to corner (use both pieces)
Old Olive Cardstock:
4-3/4” x 3-1/2” cut diagonally corner to corner (use one)
Sweet Soirée Designer Paper:
4-3/4” x 3-1/2” cut diagonally corner to corner (use one)
Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon:
4″
Products: See below for a full list of supplies linked to where you can find them in my online store.
And here are a few more close-up photos. I colored the Epoxy Shapes on this card. In the video I share another version where these are Calypso Coral in color.
I think coloring these accents adds a lot, but leaving them clear is pretty too. This original card seems a little more plain without the colored accents.
But in person and up close, the clear ones are quite pretty.
Oh! I love this photo. (I made a bunch of these for a swap.)

When is the best time to share a box of chocolates? Anytime! Especially when it’s in this pretty packaging. 🙂
This was one of the fun make-n-takes we made on the Silver Elite Retreat this past weekend.
Measurements:
Whisper White cardstock: scrap for punching 2″ Circle
Fresh Florals designer paper (Berry Burst): a 1″ x 3″ piece for each Hershey’s Nugget (we put 6 in each box)
Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon: about 20″
Silver Baker’s Twine: about 14″
Products: See below for a full list of supplies linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Directions/Tips:
When the box is still flat, slip the floral Petal Pair embossing folder into the box area you want to emboss. Positioning the folder with the Sizzix logo out will give you a “debossed” look (like you see in this first box). Positioning the folder with the Sizzix logo in will give you an embossed look (like you see in the second box further down).
After running the box through the Big Shot, assemble the bottom and add a little Shreddie inside.
Wrap each nugget with a 3″ x 1″ strip of designer paper and secure with Tear & Tape adhesive. Add to the box, and close it up.
Tie on the Berry Burst ribbon.
Punch out the 2″ Whisper White circle. Punch an 1/8″ hole at the edge to create the base of the tag. Add the tag to the box with the twine.
Then either leave the floral Sweet Soirée vellum embellishment as is adding it to the tag with a Glue Dot and a Glitter Enamel Dot in the flower center to cover the Glue Dot. OR…Color the back side of the floral Sweet Soirée vellum embellishment first as shown below using Blends Markers.
Either look is super pretty. So you can’t go wrong.
And what a pretty presentation. I could totally see this as an Easter treat, a bridesmaid gift, a teacher appreciation gift,…
You may have to make two, though. That way you can keep one for yourself. (wink wink)

Here is a card that I created recently. I made a few for some belated birthday cards for some members of my Stampers With ART team. (I’m not good at getting my cards out on time. I haven’t even started on making my February birthday cards. Guess those will be belated, too. hahaha) I also made another 60 of these for a swap that I participated in last month.
It took me some time to make all those cards, but it was worth all the swap cards I got in return. (I’ve shared a few here on my blog and will share more again soon.)
I used Embossing Paste, Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers, and the Stamparatus tool which will be available to all in the upcoming 2018-19 Annual Catalog that debuts June 1st.
This card involved a LOT of steps…too many to explain with just photos and written directions.
So I recorded this Facebook Live how-to video this past Wednesday and uploaded it to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook).
Here are the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate this card.
Measurements:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock:
5-1/2” x 8” scored at 3-3/4” and folded for card base
2” x 4-1/8”
3” x 4” for the inside
Fresh Fig Cardstock:
2” x 5-1/2” (but start with a 6” x 6” piece, apply the embossing paste, and then cut to 2” strips)
4” x 5-1/4” for the inside
Bermuda Bay Cardstock:
5-1/2” x 4-1/4” scored at 2-1/8” and folded
Pear Pizzazz Cardstock:
Scraps for stamping and cutting out sentiment
Bermuda Bay Shimmer Ribbon (a free Sale-a-Bration item!):
6-7″
