I just HAD to make a similar one for my Card Addiction Class coming up this Friday. I made the sentiment area of the card a bit simpler, and then I added a "punch art" strawberry.
I used the Blossom Builder punch for this strawberry.
Measurements:
Watermelon Wonder Card Stock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" folded in half at 4-1/4" for the base of the card AND scraps for punching the two pieces for the strawberry
Whisper White Card Stock: 5-1/4" x 4" for the inside layer AND scrap for die-cutting an oval (or circle)
Pear Pizzazz Card Stock: scrap for punching the leaves for the strawberry
Tasty Treats Designer Series Paper: 4" x 5-1/2"
Directions:
Use a sponge in a light, circular motion to add Pool Party ink to the top third or half of the designer paper – start at the very top and move downward to get the gradual darker to lighter look. Use a tissue to wipe off any excess ink.
Attach Affectionately Yours Watermelon Wonder striped Washi Tape to the left edge of the Watermelon Wonder card base. Then attach the designer paper so it meets up with the right edge and the top and bottom edges.
Stamp the sentiment on the Whisper White scrap. Then die-cut with the oval or circle that fits best. Add to card with two-three Dimensionals.
Punch the Watermelon Wonder and Pear Pizzazz scraps for the strawberry pieces. Stamp "seeds" onto the red parts using Whisper White craft ink.
Attach the Watermelon Wonder pieces together – use a Dimensional at the top and a Glue Dot at the bottom of the smaller strawberry layer.
Fold the leaf piece in half. And use Glue Dots to secure it to the top of the strawberry.
Add the strawberry to the card with a Dimensional.
The products I used to make this card are listed below. Unfortunately the designer paper, Watermelon Wonder card stock, and the washi tape are three items that will be retiring soon. So if they are on your wish list, you'll want to order them today.
Hope you enjoyed my card idea!

I am so honored to be the special guest this time for the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop! Each person participating in this hop found a project from my blog and used it for inspiration to do another version of it. In the paper crafters' world we call it CASEing. In this hop CASE stands for "Copy And Selectively Edit." Although you may have also heard it defined as "Copy And Share Everything/Everywhere." I am also participating by CASEing one of my own past projects! 😉
Those of you who know me probably aren't surprised that I picked a Paper Pumpkin idea to CASE. hahaha! And I knew when I saw him that this cute little guy had to be revived.
This box is 2" x 2" x 2-1/4". It's the perfect size if you need to make several treats for Easter or just give something small to a special someone. I could also see it as a baby shower favor – just change up the colors to match the decor!
This is the original project I CASEd. You can view more photos of it along with a "how-to" video in my April 5, 2014 post.
I invite you to watch the video in that post to get a few more details in creating this type of box. But I also included here a few step-by-step photos and directions for my newest bunny box.
Measurements:
Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4 and scrap for the ears
Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock: three pieces that are 2-1/8" x 1-7/8" and scrap for the ears
Succulent Garden Designer Paper: three pieces that are 2" x 1-3/4"
Sale-a-Bration 2017 Glimmer Paper Assortment (Sweet Sugarplum): scrap for the nose
Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon (Sweet Sugarplum): about 10"
Tips/Directions:
Start by making the box base… From the 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (already scored in the middle) Whisper White piece, trim off 2" from one end as shown.
Punch this 2" x 5-1/2" piece at one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. Then score the remaining white cardstock as shown: 2-1/4" in from the right and left sides (one of these score lines will already be there) and 1-3/4" in from the top and bottom.
Of the eight score lines that go out from the center square, trim along the 4 that are 1-3/4" in length. Then put Tear & Tape adhesive as shown on one side (middle top and bottom flaps).
Flip the paper over and put more Tear & Tape adhesive as shown on the other side (side top and bottom flaps).
Remove the tape backings and assemble. Bring the middle flaps inward and connect with the outer flaps…first with the ones that only have one strip of adhesive and then with the ones that have two strips.
With the box base done, punch and die-cut more bunny parts…a 3/4" Circle of Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper and four ovals using the smallest of the Stitched Shape Framelits (2 Whisper White and 2 Sweet Sugarplum).
Score the 2" Whisper White bunny at 4" as shown. Stamp the eyes and whiskers.
Add Glue Dots to the underside of the bunny head as shown.
The two in the middle will hold the Glimmer Paper 3/4" circle in place. The other 3 Glue Dots will adhere the folded over bunny head.
Connect the ears pieces.
And then attach to the head.
Flip over and add a couple strips of Sticky Strip at the following measurements.
Attach the Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock and Succulent Garden Designer Paper pieces to the front and side panels of the box. Notice I cut my designer paper pieces from one 5-1/4" x 2" piece so the pattern flows from panel to panel.
When Stampin' Up! expanded into other countries I never dreamed that I would be connecting and making friends with so many wonderful people all over the world. It's the conventions & incentive trips that have physically brought us together, but it's Facebook, other social media and our blogs that have kept us connected.
Kylie Bertucci is one one of those wonderful people that I am so grateful I met. She is such a sweetheart – always willing to lend a helping hand! And I thank her for the fun, new experiences she has brought my way: the incentive trip blog hops, the Tutorial Bundle group, and of course this fun Crazy Crafters hop today.
I also want to send a huge thanks to all the demonstrators that CASEd me in this hop. I was humbled by the sweet things that were said when we were preparing for this event. And as I write this, I am looking forward to seeing which projects of mine inspired all of them AND what they created. Be sure to visit each of these blogs by clicking on the names below. Have fun and let me know what you think!

Product List
Take note that the Retiring Products List will post soon. If not mid-April, for sure by the start of May. And when it does certain products tend to sell out quickly (sometimes even BEFORE the list posts) like the outgoing 2015-17 In Color re-inkers and cardstock packs: Mint Macaron, Cucumber Crush, Watermelon Wonder, Tip Top Taupe and Delightful Dijon. So take inventory now and start making those needed purchases earlier than later.
But I found out some SUPER FABULOUS news last night, and this celebratory card seems so appropriate right now. (Measurements, tips and supplies are below.)
I shouted out my news with these words on my personal Facebook page so I could tell lots of friends and family right away…
"I am so over-the-top excited!! ? I looked at my Stampin' Up! reports tonight and discovered that I EARNED ENOUGH POINTS FOR THE 2018 ALASKAN CRUISE INCENTIVE TRIP! ? I've never earned a trip this early on (I had until the end of September 2017, but made it just 4-1/2 months into the year). A big thank you to my team, my fellow demonstrators, my customers, my blog followers, my friends, my family, and all the other positive forces in my life!! ☀️ Gosh, I'm blessed. We are taking our boys on this one. ???? Tim and I went in 2011, and it was by far one of the best incentive trips we've ever been on. What a fabulous adventure this is going to be!!"
I went a little crazy with the emojis and exclamation marks, but WOW! It's just too good to be true.
Another thing that has made us celebrate here at home is that the boys are in the process of moving to new rooms which means we have a chance to paint AND put in new carpet (something this house has needed desperately). My creative side is totally loving this! One room, a hallway and a staircase got re-carpeted yesterday, we bought the new paint for that room last night and I hope to purchase some accessories for a pop of green (Nick's favorite color) in the coming days. He should be moved into this new room of his within a week! I'll keep you posted on how that is all coming along and share pictures when the rooms are done.
And to top off all the happiness going on (they say things happen in 3's), we have our summer family "National Parks Road Trip" completely booked (booked the last place – a Moab, Utah condo a few days ago). So now we can work on the details and breathe a sigh of relief that we have a place to sleep each night. So much fun ahead!
We didn't pull out any champagne last night to toast to our Alaskan trip. (We'll have to do that tonight.) But in the meantime, here are a few more photos of those champagne cards along with some helpful information for recreating them.
Measurements:
Basic Black Cardstock: 11" x 4-1/4" folded in half for card base & 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"
Whisper White Cardstock: scrap for the 2" circle & 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" for the inside
Gold Foil Sheets: scrap for the half 2" circle
Window Sheets: scrap for the 2-1/8" die-cut circle and for the 1/4" x about 1" stem of the champagne glass
Silver Glimmer Paper: two pieces that are 1/2" x 4-1/4"
Tips/Directions:
Stamp the word image then punch it out. Add some SNAIL adhesive to the back and add loops of Gold Thread so it peeks out from the upper right and lower left of the circle.
Emboss the 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic Black.
Punch a little less than a half circle of Gold Foil and emboss.
Die-cut almost a full 2-1/8" circle from the edge of a piece of Window Sheet. Attach stem piece to this piece together, and then attach to the 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" piece of Basic Black so it is slightly tilted. (The stem of the glass should be perpendicular to the rim of the glass. And be sure that all the adhesive used to attach the window sheet pieces will be hidden by the champagne.)
Trim the end of the stem and attach the Silver Glimmer Paper pieces with Glue Dots. Then add this entire layer to the front of the card.
Adhere the gold champagne piece to the glass making sure that the straight edge of the "liquid" is parallel to the top/bottom of the card.
Attach the circular piece using Dimensionals.
Add a few rhinestones.
Finish the card by embossing the 2-3/4" x 4-1/4" Whisper White piece with the "celebrate" folder. And attach this to the inside of the card.
I've been photographing the 34 scrapbook pages that I created on my retreat and will soon be able to share those here with you. Thanks for being patient my fellow scrapbookers. AND my February Paper Pumpkin kit has shipped! So hopefully within a couple weeks I'll have some "outside the box" ideas to share with all of you Paper Pumpkin fans. Hugs to you all! Have a great Thursday.

Island Indigo Cardstock: 11" x 4-1/4" folded in half for the card base
Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper (sky scene pattern): 5-1/4" x 4"
Real Red Cardstock: scraps for punching circles for poké ball
Whisper White Cardstock: scraps for punching circles for poké ball & full sheets run through the printer and then cut into a 5-1/4" x 4" piece for each invite (Click here to download the document I made for this party. Click here to download a PDF of it.)
Basic Black Cardstock: scraps for punching circles for poké ball
Tips/Directions:
Punch one full 2" circle from the Whisper White scrap. Punch a half 2" circle from the Real Red scrap and another from the Basic Black scrap. Attach the Real Red 1/2 circle to the Basic Black 1/2 circle so that a little black shows from under the straight edge of the red. Then attach this to the top 1/2 of the Whisper White full circle.
Punch a 1/2" circle from the Basic Black scrap. Punch two different size circles with the Owl Builder Punch from the Whisper White scrap. Layer these three little circles onto each other (the top white one on my poké ball is attached with a glue dot so it sticks up a little higher). Then add this to the 2" layered circle piece as shown.
Attach the Serene Scenery designer paper to the front of the card. Stamp the swirling stars image in Real Red ink onto the designer paper so that it is coming down from the upper left corner and trailing to the lower right.
Draw a little "shine" accent mark on the poké ball and add this to the front of the card using Dimensionals. Accent the swirling stars with a few rhinestones.
Stamp the swirling stars on the printed Whisper White invite layer, then adhere to the inside of the card.
Luke still has to wait until February 7th to OFFICIALLY turn double digits, but we celebrated his 10th birthday early to avoid Super Bowl Sunday weekend. Plus, I am now going to be out of town on a crafting retreat. (I'm so excited!)
My husband, Tim and I picked up Luke and Nick and 8 of Luke's friends from school on Friday so we could get an early start. We drove them to the Tropical Adventure Indoor Playground at the Shoreview Community Center. They played hard for over an hour, and then we headed to our house.
This place is about 30 minutes away, so the boys were starving by the time we got back. Thankfully my parents (who always save the day somehow) picked up the pizzas while we were away. Mom even put them in the oven about 5 minutes before our return.
Ahhh…food! And despite the discussion I had with my boys the morning before, I put out carrots too. AND guess what? It WAS a good idea, because over half the kids chose to eat those healthy little vegetables!
After that we had gift opening time. Luke remembered to thank each friend and was super happy to get all those fun toys.
And then we sang "Happy Birthday" and ate cake and ice cream. I baked the gluten-free chocolate cake from a couple mixes. And thanks to Pinterest and Party City (for selling single colored M&Ms) I decorated it to look like a poké ball.
(I have to admit the red and black food coloring in the M&Ms disgusted me a bit, but I can't deprive my kiddos of fun food ALL the time.)
Half the kids had already gotten picked up by their parents by the time Tim remembered (and reminded me) that we forgot to give them their party favors. Ugh! So now Luke has to bring a few to school on Monday.
I also personalized containers of glitter putty and added them to the containers.
Luke attended his friend Joshua's birthday party Saturday afternoon, so this gave Tim and my dad some time to un-box and assemble Luke's big gift (his drum set!) while he was away.
The family party began just a couple hours after Luke returned. He posed for me with his poké ball gift and balloon before everyone arrived. He knew he was getting a drum set from us (and both sets of grandparents), but was told that it wouldn't arrive in time for the party. He had no clue it was already here…
…and was super happy to find out it WAS!
The fun continued after everyone went home, because cousin Robbie stayed for a late night sleepover. What a great weekend!
Even if your weekend wasn't filled with parties like ours was, I hope it was enjoyable!
I decided to challenge my creativity a bit and come up with an animal I haven't seen anyone else share on the internet yet. My eyes went directly to the stamp image in the top left…second one in. And here is the animal I came up with using that image but using that shape from the punch instead of the stamp.
The first time I stamped this bunny's face and punched the head, I wasn't happy. It didn't looked like a bunny to me. So I stamped the face again but this time turned it upside-down to punch. Then I cut those cat ears off the chin side instead of the top. I loved that SO much better! See the difference?
I also created this fun z-fold card with a bunny of another color – Sahara Sand instead of Soft Suede. I thought he looked sweet enough for a welcome baby card. (Sorry the words are slightly tilted. I was creating this card late at night when I was super tired. Do any of you ever do that?)
It's garage sale week! We really lucked out with the weather on Wednesday and Thursday. And there were many many shoppers that paid a visit.
You would think from our attendance and sales in the first couple days that we would have nothing left, but that is not the case. Click here to see the updated Craigslist ad and view the photos of all the goodies that are still available.
Today is the last day of our annual crafting supplies garage sale. Stop by and say hi if you live close enough! We even have refreshments if you need them. 🙂
Today I am sharing Video 3 in a series of 3. This one includes two greeting card ideas and a Project Life page. Watch the video for directions and tips. Then scroll down to see close-up photos of these projects and a list of extra supplies I used to make them.
