Today I'll be sharing Video 2 in a series of 3 – projects I created with the January 2016 Cute Conversations Paper Pumpkin kit. This one includes a simple but striking card and a 12 x 12 scrapbook page spread with a bit of humor and fun. Watch the video for directions and tips. Then scroll down to see close-up photos of these projects and a list of extra supplies I used to make them.

I went a little overboard with this last Paper Pumpkin kit. LOL…I had to break my projects into 3 videos! I guess I loved it THAT much.
For today's projects I'll be sharing Video 1 in a series of 3. This one includes some fun Valentine boxes decorated with puppy dogs, another simpler one decorated with hearts, and a scrapbook page – simple but stunning. Watch the video for directions and tips. Then scroll down to see close-up photos of these projects and a list of extra supplies I used to make them.

Using the largest and smallest oval dies, die-cut the sentiment, gold foil paper and the window sheet.
Emboss the gold foil paper making sure the “bubbles” are closer together at the bottom. Then attach on top of the window sheet leaving a little peek of the window sheet at the bottom to give the impression that the champagne glass is thicker at the bottom of the class.
Attach the glass “stem” to the bottom of the glass, adhere to the card front, then trim off any excess “stem.”
Add Dimensionals to the back of the white oval piece. Add loops of cording and attach to the card.
Last Thursday I shared a fun and simple "spooky" box. Saturday I shared a "candy corn" bag. And today I am sharing the other two projects we will be making. These last two projects are fabulous ideas from other demonstrators, though. So I can't take the credit for the creativity. 😉 But I had to share anyway, because I know you will love them!
The third treat holder is this witch's hat bag that I received as a swap by Janet Baker at the Founder's Circle Retreat. (Thanks, Janet!)
This hat actually opens and closes and is a clip for the bag!
Thankfully Janet created a video to show how she made it. (As a bonus, you'll see lots of other adorable Halloween treat containers with hat accents in this video. And you'll want to make them all! So just know…I warned you.)
Check it out!
Here are a few other images of this fun bag. And the supplies for making it are listed below.
The fourth and final project we will be making on Thursday night is this darling Vampire Coffin Pouch created by Allison Okamitsu. (Thanks, Allison!) Here is her project and blog post. (I found this idea via Pinterest. Gotta love Pinterest!)
Allison even has a video showing you how she made it! Yippee!!
This is my version.
I just changed up a few things… I used the Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim and Glue Dots since we don't carry the 1/8" Taffeta anymore. I used the new Basic Black Archival ink pad instead of the Momento (but either will work great). Blender Pens are much easier to control than Aqua Painters, so for a class setting I will be using the Blender Pens. I also found that using the scoring blade on my trimmer was much easier than trying to line things up on the Simply Scored tool.
I'm looking forward to sharing these fun ideas with my class attendees tomorrow night!
And I have to say, thank goodness for Pinterest! I get so much inspiration there! If you are not on Pinterest, I strongly encourage you to get set up. It's my biggest source for inspiration. I have not only found creative paper crafting ideas there, but (because I have many food limitations) I have found some great recipes there as well. And I've become a better cook. I go there when I need ideas for themed parties or ideas for holidays. And right now I am busy grabbing up ideas so I can change up my craft room/office space.
If you are already on Pinterest, I invite you to follow me. CLICK HERE to see what I have been finding and pinning. (Pinterest is a great way for me to share my blog ideas, too!)
Thanks for checking out what I had to share today.

To make these flowers, Verla has generously shared some quick photos with penciled notes showing the process of creating these fushia flowers.
I listed all the Stampin' Up! products used in this card at the bottom of my post. Besides the shimmer spritz (already mentioned above), the only other product that is unavailable through my online store is a now-retired Stampin' Up! item…the 5-Petal Flower Punch. But if you really want to get your hands on this punch, search for it on sites like eBay and Etsy.
Verla's fabulous visual directions for making one of the flowers:
Grandpa Tessman has created a tradition at our house.
He is an early riser, and he usually goes out to get the paper and in the morning. He does the same thing when he stays at our house. The boys never know which morning, but usually one within the few days he is here he brings donuts back with the paper. Sprinkles on top are the most popular kind.
This MAY just have to be the birthday card we give him this year. What do you think?
I got this card idea on Pinterestfrom one Mercedes Weber had made. I listed the supplies I used to make this card at the bottom of my post. (The designer paper and ribbon are leaving soon – retiring. Be sure to check out those and any other retiring products in my online store before they are gone.)
Hope you all have a happy day today (with sprinkles on top)!
