I absolutely LOVE punch art. So today I’m sharing a cute bee and adorable bunny that I made using the Ladybug Builder and Bough punches. I also wanted to show you a fun way to alter the Elegant Classic Treat Boxes – to stretch them out and make them taller.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for extending the boxes and decorating them with these fun punch art creatures. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.

MY FAVORITE EXTRAS I’ve added a new section to my website titled My Favorite Extras. This is where you can find direct links to other products (from Amazon, Stamp-n-Storage, The Country Hive, etc.) that I love, use, and share about.
While coming up with project ideas for my Abstract Beauty Blog Hop post and the All Star Exclusives Tutorial Bundle for March, I started folding the 4″ x 6″ designer paper from that suite and created a simple treat holder for Ghirardelli chocolate squares. I didn’t go any further with this project and set it aside…until now.
This past weekend, I was creating so I could share a couple 3-D project ideas for Easter. So I grabbed those treat holders I had set aside, used some fun neutral designer paper patterns from the In Good Taste collection, and turned them into Bunny Boxes (with bunny ears and a tail).
I also took an idea that I learned from a swap I received from Bibi Cameron back in April 2016 swap and updated it with current designer papers. And although I’m calling them Easter Totes, you can really make these for any occasion by just changing up the papers and the candy you put inside.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these two adorable treat containers. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.

I had a few requests lately. One of them was to share how to make Vy Tran’s fun fold card that I posted on my blog on November 27th. Another was to use the Snowman Season stamp set. And the third request was to show a fun birthday card for a kiddo who has a winter birthday. So I combined all those requests together and came up with a “grand & splendid snowman stretch card.” (The wording comes from the products I used. ?)
I just showed live on YouTube about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating this fun fold card using the Grand Kid and Snowman Season Stamp Sets, Snowflake Splendor Designer Paper, and some punches. MY ONLINE PAPER CRAFTERS CLUB IS LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS We are looking for more to join our online Paper Crafters club. The commitment is to order at least $25 worth of Stampin’ Up! product in each of 6 consecutive months. In one of those months, you would reap the hosting rewards (free merchandise based on the club orders). Today, on the 10th (the last day of a subscriber period as we make sure our accounts are active so we don’t miss out on the awesome June kit coming up) I wanted to share one more card that I made with the May 2020 A Kit In Color Paper Pumpkin kit. This is the card that five of my lucky subscribers will be getting in just a few days.
I used up almost all my kit cloud cut-outs making my other projects, but I wanted a cloud on this card. And if I was making five cards, I needed 5 clouds. So I used my punches to punch out some Whisper White circles. I then layered them over each other and popped the most dominant front one up on Dimensionals to create depth. And here is what I came up with. I absolutely love it! Below are the details if you wish to recreate this card with your leftover kit pieces.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of extra products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements…
Balmy Blue Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2”
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
2-5/8″ x 2-7/8″
Whisper White Cardstock
4″ x 5-1/4″
3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ (for the inside layer)
Scraps for punching three 1-1/2″ Circles and one 2″ Circle
Kit rainbow piece
Start with 2-3/16″ x 2-13/16″ (half of the full size), then cut up from the bottom (parallel to the long side) at 3/4″
Kit rectangular vellum piece
Start with 2-5/16″ x 3-1/4″ (half of the full size), then cut up from the bottom (parallel to the long side) at 3/4″
Directions…
Stamp a fun sentiment onto the largest 2″ diameter Whisper White circle. (I actually printed mine from the Share Sunshine Product Giveback PDF Download that was available through June 2nd and then punched it out with the 2″ Circle Punch.)
Use a leftover cloud from the kit as a stencil. Move from the top down on the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White piece, and sponge Balmy Blue ink where the top edge of the cloud meets the Whisper White paper. Continue until this layer looks filled with fluffy clouds.
After all pieces are cut, stamped, and sponged, start to assemble the middle rainbow layer.
Add the rainbow pieces to the top of the 2-5/8″ x 2-7/8″ Basic Black piece. Then add the vellum pieces to the underside. There will be gaps on the right and left edges, but these will disappear as the card comes together.
Add the largest Basic Black layer to the front of the card base. Add the sponged Whisper White layer onto this. Then add the layered rainbow piece onto this using Dimensionals.
Form the cloud by first adding two smaller circles so they conceal the gaps in the rainbow layer.
Add the third small circle above and to the right. Then add the large sentiment circle with Dimensionals.
Here are three versions I made since the PDF had this sentiment in three colors.
If you didn’t get the downloadable PDF at the time it was available, just use some other fun sentiment that will work in a 2″ diameter circle.
If you need more alternate project ideas using this kit, be sure to check out my posts on May 20th and May 28th.
If you are not a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, I invite you to give it a try. CLICK HERE to learn more. CLICK HEREto sign up by June 10th (TODAY!) for the next kit.

At this time of year a lot of us Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who blog are posting “cautiously.” We don’t want to create and plan our posts with retiring products too far in advance just in case something we design has product that is all of a sudden unavailable. So as I am writing this post, I’m seeing that the Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack IS STILL showing up in the online store! Yay!! Because look at this cute monster card you can make with the contents of this card pack.
Unfortunately one of the products I used to make this IS sold out, though…the 1″ Circle Punch. ?But I decided she was just too cute NOT to share. In fact she made an appearance on April 9th during my Facebook Live after sharing how to make a similar card. Click here to see that original card and watch the how-to video. Then afterwards you can use the measurements, tips, and supply list below to help you recreate this version of the monster card that I am sharing today.
Measurements…
Card from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack
4″ x 6″ (this will become the patterned paper for the face
Whisper White Cardstock
4” x 11” scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
Scrap for punching two 1-½” circles
Basic Black Cardstock
Scrap for punching two ½” circles
Mossy Meadow Cardstock
Scrap for punching two 1” circles
Tips…
After assembling the base part of the card to form the smile and opening (again…watch the video for tips and instructions), punch the circles for the eyes and layer them together. Adhere the eyes while also adding the eyelashes (leaf stickers).
For the mouth, adhere the flower stickers. Add the outer ones first, then add the center one. From the front of the card when the mouth is closed these should look like teeth. Pounce the Embossing Buddy on the sticky side (the teeth side) releasing the powder to get rid of the stickiness.
Add the sentiment stickers and a 4th flower sticker to finish off the card.
Remember that once a product on the retiring/last-chance list is gone, it is gone for good. So get one more look at what will be leaving by clicking here to see what is remaining in the online store (which is the most up-to-date way of seeing what is still available).

I created a couple spring/Easter cards using circle punches, daisy punches, and images from the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set. Each card uses pretty much the same stamped, cut and punched pieces. And the cards below are the suggested ways I gave members of my Stampers With ART Community for putting their pieces together as make-n-takes during our last Zoom Team Gathering.
Isn’t that bunny from a daisy punch idea adorable?! Fellow demonstrator, Lisa Marshall shared this fun punch art idea with me. Don’t have the supplies to make this card, but want to? Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Below are the details for recreating these cards.
PDF Tutorial…Click here to access and download a direction sheet for these two cards.
Measurements…
Blueberry Bushel Cardstock: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4”
Whisper White Cardstock: 1” x 3-1/2”…and scraps for punching Daisy, Medium Daisy, and circle punches
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock: 2-3/4” x 3-1/2”…3-7/8” x 3-1/2”…and scrap for stamping and fussy-cutting tulips
Granny Apple Green Cardstock: Scrap for punching Sprig
Directions…
Stamp tulips with Granny Apple Green ink onto Soft Sea Foam scrap. Cut them out. Stamp sentiment with Blueberry Bushel ink onto Whisper White 1” x 3-1/2” strip.
Emboss front of Blueberry Bushel card base. Then add the 1” x 3-1/2” Whisper White strip and the 2-3/4” x 3-1/2” Soft Sea Foam piece to the front of the card. (Tuck in tulips if you wish to create the daisy version of this card.)
Punch circles, daisies and sprig. Trim where necessary – sprig could be cut in half and petals can be cut off daisies to create bunny heads.
Add the inside 3-7/8” x 3-1/2” Soft Sea Foam layer. Assemble and attach punched pieces. (Curl petals of daisies with Bone Folder if choosing to make card on left.) Add pearls to embellish.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed what I shared.
