The Best Destination Kit from the Kits Collection is amazing and probably one of my favorites! I was so excited when it debuted in early November that I bought several boxes and gifted parts and pieces of it to those in my team who registered for OnStage@Home 2023.
Then a couple weeks ago I sat down and dove into these tri-fold kit cards. I cut the cards into smaller parts, added cardstock, and then pieced them together again as new fun fold cards. By adding in just a bit of cardstock and some imagination I was able to almost triple the cards in the kit, and I got 24 cards from the supplies of nine!
I knew it would be difficult to explain how to put these cards together with just words and photos, so I pre-recorded a video. It’s a bonus Online Paper Crafting Class (pre-recorded).

One of my viewers reached out a few weeks ago and brought a fun fold card to my attention asking if I would be able to make a video teaching the steps for it. It’s called a Freestanding Spinner Card, and I was excited to give it a try!

Since then, I’ve made three other versions of the card. So I’m sharing them today to give you a bit more creative inspiration on how else you can use most of those same products but in different ways.
If you didn’t catch my original post, some things to note would be that these cards fit in our medium size envelopes and fold flat for mailing. When open they can stand and be on display. Plus they are quite easy to make!

Oh! I’m in love with the December 2023 All The Best Paper Pumpkin kit! The imagery is beautiful. And I’ve been creating up a storm! I finished seven alternate card ideas…one is exclusive for my personal paper pumpkin subscribers, three I am sharing today, and the others (plus whatever else I create) will have to wait because I couldn’t fit them all into my how-to video.
This kit contained the supplies shown below to make nine pretty “dandelion wish” cards (three of 3 styles) and a box for gifting the cards to another.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show subscribers other ways to use those supplies. I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So today I’m sharing with you…

I learned a creative fun fold card from my friend Alanna Wharf. It’s called a Back Fold Card, because the card folds back to allow the front to open. So I thought I would share more new products debuting in the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalog and demonstrate this fold for you today.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating this card (three versions of it!) with the Ice Cream Swirl Stamp Set, Ice Cream Swirl Dies, Lighter Than Air Designer Paper, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots, Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack, and other coordinating Stampin’ Up!® product. I came up with my own fun fold card back in March of 2018. And today I wanted to revive that Vertical Stretch Card to show how to cut and use 6 x 6 paper in the best way with this card fold design. I also figured out the measurements for A4 size paper for all of you that measure using metric!
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube and on Facebook step-by-step directions for creating three Vertical Stretch Cards using products from the Garden Walk Suite: the Modern Garden Stamp Set, the Modern Oval Punch, the Garden Walk Designer Paper, the Blooming Pearls, and other coordinating Stampin’ Up!® product.
