Here are a couple more that I made using the retiring Beautiful Friendship Stamp Set and the beautiful Hydrangea Hill Designer Paper. Doesn’t the floral stamp image from this set go well with this paper? I was so excited when I put these two together.
I made a purple & blue version (on the left in the first photo and on the right in the second) and a green & pink version.

Today is the last day to sign up (or have an active subscription) for Paper Pumpkin so you get in on this month’s April kit. So I thought I’d share a couple more cards that I put together with some of my leftovers from last month’s Here’s to You kit.
I added in some Early Espresso Cardstock and Champagne Foil. But the kraft colored paper comes from the envelopes in the kit. And though I used Basic White in the middle, the flip-side of the card bases in the kit could be used instead.

Measurements for one card…
Early Espresso Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2″
2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″
Basic White Cardstock
2″ x 3-1/2″
Champagne Foil Sheets
2-1/8″ x 3-5/8″
Kraft colored paper (from the envelopes in the kit)
4″ x 5-1/4″
3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
Twine from the kit
22″
Tips for cutting envelope…
Trim off the sides to open the envelope. Cut the larger piece from the fullest section. To get the smaller kraft paper piece (for the inside of the card), cut from the smaller section of the envelope by trimming a bit into the overlapping seam as shown.
Directions…
Emboss the larger kraft paper piece.
Use the stencil and sponge to “pounce on” a small sun. Stamp the trees or flowers with second and even third generation ink (ink that has been stamped off onto scrap paper first so it creates a lighter color). Then stamp the sentiment and birds using full ink color.
Stamp birds on the smaller kraft piece and add to the inside of the card.
Add the larger embossed kraft piece to the front of the card. (I applied my Seal adhesive to the card base because I didn’t want to risk tearing the thin embossed envelope paper.)
Layer the white onto the Champagne. Then layer this onto the Early Espresso.
Wrap around and tie on the twine. Then add this layer to the front using Dimensionals from the kit.

I’m excited to share a fun idea with you today. It’s a card that opens to reveal a blooming flower. I had been seeing several versions of this type of card in my Pinterest feed lately. And the look of this paired so wonderfully with the cactus theme of this medley.
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube step-by-step directions for creating this blooming blossom card using the Flowering Cactus Medley. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. I just put together my first set of alternate projects using the March 2021 Here’s to You Paper Pumpkin monthly subscription kit! And I’m excited to share them with you today!
This kit contained the supplies shown below to make eight full-size cards for celebrating life’s little moments and mountain-high milestones.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show subscribers other ways to use those supplies. I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So today I’m sharing with you…

Tripling the cards in the kit With one kit and a few extra supplies you’ll be able to make four of each of the following designs. (I made two sets which is why you see two of each design in the photos.)

And then you just need to add in this many envelopes times four. So use four kraft ones from the kit and another 20 medium Basic White ones to get 24 total envelopes for the 24 cards.

I designed a bunch of cards and projects for Demos Galore, a virtual event that was held back in January. For this event, I focused on the In Bloom Bundle for my creations. I’ve been sharing these projects on my blog since the event, and today I have for you details about my leaf banner birthday cards.
I was excited when I came up with the layout for these cards. It’s easy to look at stamp images and only see them for what they were made for. So when I thought to turn the flower stem on its side to make a horizontal vine, my mind went “outside the box.” All I needed was a narrower layer to stamp on. And the Hydrangea Hill and Pastel Pearls were a fun way to add accenting.

Measurements
Basic White Cardstock: two pieces at 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ (one for the outside and one for the inside), ¾” x 3”
Rococo Rose or Gorgeous Grape Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 11” scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 7/8” x 3-1/8”
Hydrangea Hill Mercury Acetate: two pieces at ¾” x 5-1/2”
Directions
Stamp the vines. Then stamp the leaves. Stamp full color for the darker green. Stamp off on scrap paper first, then stamp on the Basic White Cardstock to get the lighter green.
Stamp Happy Birthday on the sentiment strip. Add to the Granny Apple Green piece. Put one Dimensional under the left side and middle. Add two stacked up Dimensionals under the right side. Set aside.
Add the acetate under the left and right edges of the leaf/vine layer (remember to remove the protective layer on the back side of the acetate strips first). Add to the front off-center with Dimensionals.
Add the sentiment strip. Add the Pastel Pearls. Add the inside Basic White layer.

Maybe you could say I’m obsessed with these fun closure cards. I’ve shared a few versions in the past – examples on July 20, 2019, June 6, 2018, April 21, 2018, and April 6, 2018 are the ones I can find, but I think I’ve made and shared more. I still remember when I saw the inspiration for this type of closure presented on stage during a Stampin’ Up!® event years back when Cofounder, Shelli Gardner and her daughter (now CEO), Sara Douglass were demonstrating their card with a folding heart.
With the new Butterfly Bouquet products, I immediately had to make a couple more variations. Only this time my cards are in the vertical/portrait position and the butterflies are centered. They make me happy. I hope you like them.

Measurements
Basic White Thick Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11” scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
Vellum Cardstock
3″ x 5-1/4″
Butterfly Bijou Designer Paper
3″ x 5-1/4″ (for the front)
4″ x 5-1/4″ (for the inside)
die-cut butterflies
Directions
Die-cut a full and a couple partial butterflies from the designer paper. (OR…Stamp, color, and die-cut the butterflies using the stamps and inks.)
Cut out a 1/2″ wide section from the left and right sides of the front of the card base.
Add the narrow designer paper to the front. Then insert the Classic Label Punch and punch the slot. If you are using the largest butterfly, shift the punch a bit and punch again to lengthen the slot.
Lay the vellum over the designer paper. Hold it steady and punch again in the same spot.
Remove the vellum. Add a few rhinestones (or sequins).
Flip the vellum over and add Glue Dots behind the rhinestones (or sequins).
Stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card.
Then add the larger designer paper to the inside. Close the card and add the vellum to the front and the butterfly so just the middle of the body connects to the the inside designer paper area through the slot.
Fold the wings. Make sure the card opens and closes.
Then add the extra butterflies and rhinestones (or sequins) to the inside.
