There are five new colors that just debuted in the 2020-21 Annual Catalog: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Magenta Madness, and Misty Moonlight.
I wanted each member of my Stampers With ART Community to receive supplies to make a card featuring one of these new colors. So I used the new Flowers for Every Season Designer Paper and some coordinating products, prepared 150 packets, and sent them off in the mail.
Then during our recent online team event, I shared with them how to make the following fun fold cards as one of their team make-n-take projects.
(Ignore the fact that the Magenta Madness card doesn’t have enamel dots. I ran out after sending all those supplies to my team members. LOL)
Then cut the 1″ x 6″ strips to make them fit in the inside left side of the card. I cut 1-3/4″ from the top of the 2020-22 In Color Designer Paper strip and just under 2-3/4″ from the bottom of the Flowers For Every Season Designer Paper strip. These I placed in the middle section. Then I placed the remaining strips below and above so that they were not interfering with folding the card. And I trimmed off any excess.
Each team member used their own stamp set for the sentiment of their card. The stamp sets I used for my samples are in the product list below.
Here are a couple more versions of this card done in the other two In Colors.

The June 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit titled Box of Sunshine is amazing! The design of this kit was inspired by Sara Douglass, the CEO of Stampin’ Up!® and is all about “sharing sunshine” with others.
This fantastic, all-inclusive, monthly subscription kit contained the supplies shown below to make 8 full-size cards (5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″) and a sheet of stickers for decorating and gifting the box.
Once you’ve made all the cards, fill the box with yellow goodies and gift it so someone to brighten their life with a little sunshine!
I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So I added the extra supplies in the product list at the bottom of this post to the above kit contents and created my alternate projects that I’m sharing with you today:

I’m a huge fan of kits produced by Stampin’ Up!® All the consumables you need to complete a fun paper crafting project or set of projects are included. And often times the non-consumables (stamps and ink) are included, too. When those items are included, the kits are called all-inclusive kits. Stampin’ Up! also offers kits where stamp sets and other tools are sold separately. This is a perk for those who want to make several more sets of kit projects. You can find the current kits in my online store by clicking here. (And then there are Paper Pumpkin kits that come month-to-month as a subscription. These are all-inclusive. I blog about them quite often since they are amazing!)
I recently purchased the Simply Citrus kit realizing that if I could show how to get more than just 15 cards from it, that would increase its value. Since it’s an all-inclusive kit, most crafters wouldn’t purchase more than one kit simply because it would be difficult to justify a purchase where you’d be getting another stamp set you already own. So with just a few basic supplies (Whisper White cardstock & envelopes, Artistry Blooms Sequins, Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, and 2” Circle Punch) I came up with new layouts and tripled the cards in this Simply Citrus Card Kit! Yes…so instead of making just 15 cards with this kit, I made 45!
Then I shared these cards during my latest Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook on Wednesday. I uploaded the recording of this class onto my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook) and shared it here in my blog post. We have a new product this year called Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes. These boxes are fashioned after the boxes that the Paper Pumpkin kits come in, but they are sized a bit smaller.
Yesterday I created a couple pet-themed treat boxes with these, a few punches (the Balloon Bouquet Punch, the Heart Punch Pack, and the Lovely Label Pick a Punch), and the products in the Playful Pets Suite (the Pampered Pets Stamp Set, the Pets Dies, the Playful Pets Designer Paper, and the Playful Pets Trinkets).
The kitty and doggy images are both from the designer paper. I hand-cut (fussy-cut) the kitty, mouse toy and ball. But I was able to die-cut the doggy since this is the same image that coordinates with an image in the stamp set. And all four of the pet images in the stamp set have coordinating dies in the Pets Dies set.

Tips…
Cut away the bottoms of the balloons to get the black ovals for the paw prints.
Punch the Smoky Slate and Whisper White strips. Stamp the sentiment. Then layer these together.
Build up all the top layers (word background paper, paw print, cut out pet images, and layered label) BEFORE attaching to the Real Red Cardstock layer. This way once the layered label piece is added, the excess can be trimmed off.
Notice the layered label is only attached with a Dimensional on the inner end. The pets are on Dimensionals (except for the cat’s tail). And the pet toys are added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The trinket on the front flap is attached with a Glue Dot.
Stamp “Enjoy” and the bowl on Flirty Flamingo or Real Red Cardstock. Punch it out with the heart punch. Cut out the bowl after stamping this image on a Whisper White scrap. Add this over the bowl on the punched heart piece. Layer this onto a punched scalloped heart and add to the inside of the box along with some treats.
The treats you put inside can be for someone’s doggy or kitty. OR you could use this box to enclose a gift for a special person who just loves animals. Then the great thing about this box is it could be re-gifted because it can open and close without needing to tear apart the design. OH! And these boxes when assembled with the glossy/coated side in are “food safe.” Yay! It keeps things less messy.
