It’s been awhile since I did a Stampin’ Blends 101 video. And with the new colors that came out in our Annual Catalog this June AND the 6 additional colors that made their appearance in the Holiday Catalog this September, I thought it would be good to introduce them once again! Stampin’ Blends alcohol-based markers are way easier to use than one might assume. I hope you’ll check out the video tutorial for my card featuring the Serene Garden and upcoming Happiness Surrounds stamp sets. I’m excited to share!
I demonstrated this card in my latest Facebook Live broadcast this past Wednesday. Then I uploaded the recorded version of this video to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). Be sure to watch the video (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), check out the measurements and full products list below, scroll through the close-up photos of this card and the other similar cards with the different color combos, and then let me know if you have any questions.
Here are the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate the card I demonstrated.

“BETTER THAN FLAT” TUTORIALS
Five super talented Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators and I have joined together as the “Stampin’ Anonymous team” to create Fun Fold cards & 3-D (“better than flat”) projects to share exclusively with our customers, paper crafting friends & team members each month! CLICK HERE to find out how you can get your hands on these great tutorials. A new one will be offered each month. October’s tutorials (peeks shown below) are ready!
Now that these accessories are here, they are staying! They will be rolling into next year’s 2019-20 Annual Catalog. And there’s more coming…Watch for the release of the Craft & Carry Stamparatus bag soon!
It’s finally time for me to share more ideas that I came up with using the contents of the June 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit! Here is what came in this past month’s kit, You Are My Anchor.
Watch the video first to get to get measurements, directions, and tips. Then scroll down to see close-up photos, links for more information shared in the video, and a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) mentioned or used to make my creations.
Here are the cards that the kit instructs how to make. The kit makes four of each of these. (I made one each. And then I used the remaining pieces of my kit to make all the rest of my projects shared today. Yep! I only used ONE kit for everything. And I still have several leftover pieces.)
Here are close-up photos of the projects I shared in my video above. I sure had fun creating them!
A CELEBRATORY CAKE TOPPER
We enjoyed this cake afterwards for a belated Father’s Day celebration.
A COOKIE STRAW GIFT
A 12X12 SCRAPBOOK PAGE LAYOUT
A CHRISTMAS TREE POCKET PHOTO PAGE LAYOUT
I obviously had fun rearranging the letters from the Hooray stickers.
A SIMPLE CARD WITH LEFTOVER SCRAPS
A FUN Z-FOLD “CAKE” CARD
You’ll want to watch the video for tips to make the sliced cake pieces!
I LOVE that Stampin’ Up! made a whole suite of products to coordinate with this month’s kit! These two cards are just a comparison of how similar the contents of this Paper pumpkin kit are with the products from the coordinating Broadway Bound suite on pages 68-69 in the 2018-19 Annual Catalog. Click here to see that suite in the online store. So you can keep on creating long after you’ve used up the consumables from your kit!

A new product will be available starting June 1st in the 2018-19 Annual Catalog. I demonstrated and chatted about the new Big Shot Embossing Mat bundle in my latest Facebook Live broadcast yesterday and made a beautiful butterfly card where I used my dies to emboss rather than cut the cardstock. It’s really amazing how the blue mat in the bundle allows you to do this so that you literally double the value of your dies!
Then I uploaded the recored version of this video to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). Be sure to watch the video, check out the measurements for the card pieces below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
Here are the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate the beautiful butterfly card I made in the video.
Measurements…
Basic Black cardstock:
4-1/4” x 11” scored at 5-1/2”
Calypso Coral cardstock:
4-1/8” x 5-3/8”
Grapefruit Grove cardstock:
4” x 5-1/4”
Whisper White cardstock:
4” x 5-1/4”
Vellum cardstock:
Scrap for die-cutting butterfly
Products: See below for a full list of supplies linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Here are a few more close-up photos of all the butterfly cards I shared.
This is the one made with Basic Black, Calypso Coral and Grapefruit Grove cardstock.
This is the one made with Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink cardstock.
This is the one made with Grapefruit Grove, Mossy Meadow and Soft Sea Foam cardstock.
And this is the one made with Basic Black, Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral cardstock.
And remember that you can flip that sandwich upside down and move the main Big Shot platform under the white impressions pad so you can see where the die is positioned on the cardstock while you are embossing. 😀
