It’s finally time for me to share more ideas that I came up with using the contents of the June 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit! Here is what came in this past month’s kit, You Are My Anchor.
Besides the gift bag & coordinating tag that I shared just over a week ago during the blog hop AND the exclusives that I shared privately with my personal subscribers on the 2nd, today I am sharing:
- a celebratory cake topper
- a Starbuck’s cookie straw gift
- a 12×12 scrapbook page layout
- a Christmas pocket photo page layout
- a simple card using leftovers from the kit
- and a fun z-fold “cake” card
Watch the video first to get to get measurements, directions, and tips. Then scroll down to see close-up photos, links for more information shared in the video, and a list of extra supplies (linked to my online store) mentioned or used to make my creations.
Here are the cards that the kit instructs how to make. The kit makes four of each of these. (I made one each. And then I used the remaining pieces of my kit to make all the rest of my projects shared today. Yep! I only used ONE kit for everything. And I still have several leftover pieces.)
Here are close-up photos of the projects I shared in my video above. I sure had fun creating them!
A CELEBRATORY CAKE TOPPER
We enjoyed this cake afterwards for a belated Father’s Day celebration.
A COOKIE STRAW GIFT
A 12X12 SCRAPBOOK PAGE LAYOUT
A CHRISTMAS TREE POCKET PHOTO PAGE LAYOUT
I obviously had fun rearranging the letters from the Hooray stickers.
A SIMPLE CARD WITH LEFTOVER SCRAPS
A FUN Z-FOLD “CAKE” CARD
You’ll want to watch the video for tips to make the sliced cake pieces!
I LOVE that Stampin’ Up! made a whole suite of products to coordinate with this month’s kit! These two cards are just a comparison of how similar the contents of this Paper pumpkin kit are with the products from the coordinating Broadway Bound suite on pages 68-69 in the 2018-19 Annual Catalog. Click here to see that suite in the online store. So you can keep on creating long after you’ve used up the consumables from your kit!

Cute ideas! I don’t know how you do it every month! I especially like the Ho Ho card and the Yay Cake fun fold. Very creative. TFS.
Thanks for your sweet comment, Susan!
You’ve amazed me once again Rachel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I picked up a partially used Paper Pumpkin Kit from 2018 at a rummage sale. It is in fact the June “Broadway Star” kit. I searched on Pinterest for some ideas to use the miscellaneous parts and pieces from the kit. I came across one of your pins and found a number of alternative cards I am able to CASE from your pin. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome creativity once again! I love when I come across these great finds at rummage sales 😉
Congrats on your great find! And glad my ideas helped you out. 😊
