Oh, the creativity that poured in during the September 24, 2021 Stampers With ART team swap! There were so many cards that today I am only sharing half of them. I chose to share these first because they are focused on either an upcoming holiday or have a fall or winter vibe. Most of these are fun fold cards, too. And all of them are using current products. Click here to find links to the current catalogs.
Please note that this is a sharing post only. These ideas are to inspire creativity not to instruct. Thanks for understanding.
Those that made each card are mentioned in the watermarks of the photos. A big thank you to all of the crafters/creators!

#APaperPumpkinThing Welcome to our monthly “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop! See what I have to share. Then check out all the other blogs in the hop to see additional creative alternate paper crafting project ideas that we each came up with using the contents of the September 2021 Haunts & HarvestPaper Pumpkin kit. To follow the hop and see other creative project ideas, simply scroll down and click on the names of other hop participants. (If you are receiving this blog post by email, click HERE to see the hop.)
Here are the boxes the kit instructs how to make. Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video to help you assemble these as intended.
I’ve already shared some other alternate projects using the contents of this kit on September 24th.
My variations of the boxes: Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, a chocolate dipped strawberry, and a flower
A fancy pumpkin card
A simple monochromatic “strip” card
And a Halloween-themed 12×12 scrapbook page layout
Today I am sharing a fun Halloween tri-fold card with you. (My design was inspired by a swap card I received from JoAnn Pollock.) It starts out closed like this…
The first flap opens this way. And then scroll down to see the fully opened card.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of extra products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements of extra pieces…
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2″
2-1/4″ x 6″ scored parallel to the short side at 1/2″
Basic White Cardstock
4″ x 5-1/4″
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (boo design)
4″ x 5-1/4″
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (black design)
2″ x 5-1/2″
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (house design)
4″ x 5-1/4″
Directions…
Cut three small sections from a wire piece from the kit for the stems of the pumpkins.
Cut an orange box down into parts to get 3 taller “oval” sections & 2 shorter six-sided sections. Add black stickers for the faces on all these 5 sections. Sandwich two larger ones back-to-back inserting and adhering a stem. Sandwich two smaller ones back-to-back inserting and adhering a stem
Die-cut the 2-1/4″ x 6 black cardstock with the wavy ‘ground’ die. Die-cut the black patterned designer paper piece into two pieces with the wavy ‘ground’ die (one of mine is taller than the other).
Open the black 4-1/4″ x 11″ card base. Add the white layer and the “boo” designer paper layer as shown above. Connect the wavy cut black paper to the left. The 1/2″ scored section will be the part that connect in the back.
Attach the two sandwiched pumpkins peeking over the top of the wave as shown above. But know that these may need to be adjusted later.
Close the right side over. Add the “house” designer paper, the other pumpkin (that is not double-sided) with its stem, and the skinny black designer paper ground.
Close the left side over. Add the other black designer paper ground. (You may need to adjust the two pumpkins a bit.)
Stamp the sentiment piece, connect it to another tag, add to the front of the card, and add a couple Matte Black Dots to the holes.
I added a gift card on the inside. You could tape it in or use a temporary adhesive (or even cut a slit in the designer paper to make a pocket).
If you enjoyed these cute pumpkins, be sure to visit my September 24th post to see my scrapbook page.
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today! If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own.

Were you able to get the adorable Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin kit that just came out?! Oh my goodness! Those treat boxes sure are adorable. The unique kits like these are the ones that really get my creativity flowing when it comes to alternate projects. And I’m excited to share with you what I have created so far.
The kit contained the supplies shown below to make twelve pumpkin and apple shaped treat boxes AND to turn the box into a wheelbarrow for displaying the treat containers.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to show subscribers other ways to use those supplies. I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages and more. So today I’m sharing with you…

Remember the cards I shared on Wednesday with the 4-panel layout using the Blackberry Beauty Designer Paper? I hope you enjoyed those. Here is the Halloween version of that layout that I shared towards the end of that video. Isn’t that cat image hilarious!?
Here are details if you wish to recreate this one.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements…
Basic Black Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11” scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2”
Cute Halloween Designer Paper pattern #1
Two pieces that are 1” x 3”
Cute Halloween Designer Paper pattern #2
Two pieces that are 1” x 3”
Basic White Cardstock
4” x 5-1/4”
Scrap for punching
Scrap for stamping and fussy-cutting two image parts of the cat
Smoky Slate Cardstock
Scrap for stamping and punching cat
Old Olive Cardstock/Paper
Scrap for punching tree border
Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon
12″
Directions…
Stamp the cat on a scrap of Gray Granite. Then Punch. Stamp it again twice onto scraps of Basic White. Fussy-cut the cat head and box from one and just the box from the other. Glue the cat head and box to the top of the main cat image on the Gray Granite piece. Then glue the box onto that.
Punch a Basic White label. Cut it in half horizontally. Attach the top piece so it peeks out the top of the Gray Granite punched piece. Then attach the bottom piece so it peeks out the bottom.
Add the designer paper strips to the bottom front of the Basic Black card base. Add a punched out row of trees above that. Then wrap and adhere ribbon. (On mine I actually did the ribbon first and then added a couple sections of trees tucked in.)
Add the layered punched cat piece with Dimensionals. (Make sure the straight side edges of this punched piece are parallel to the side edges of the paper strips and card edges.)
Stamp the sentiments and cat head image to the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White piece and attach to the inside of the card.
Finish off the card by adding a few stars.
That’s it. I bet the other cat image from that stamp set (or the pumpkin!) would look great on this card, too.
Are you interested in joining me virtually for World Card Making Day on October 2nd? I’m hosting a Zoom event called WCMD “Kit” Together starting at 12:00 PM Central Time.

I adore what Sandy has made! Here are her 10 projects.
I’m blessed to have Sandy in my community of stampers. Please note that I only ask my Showcase Stampers to share their creations not their instructions. These ideas are to inspire creativity not to instruct. Thanks for understanding.

I wanted to share with you how I’m now organizing my ink refills. I used to have them on the mini shelf space just above my ink pads.
But now I hold them in families of 10 colors in a storage unit like this by The Country Hive . Do you see them under the plant in the above photo?
These Ink Refill Holders (which can hold either 10 bottles or 6 bottles) are pretty handy. And I love how they fit perfectly in my Stamp-n-StorageCorner Shelf unit. KITS COLLECTION BY STAMPIN’ UP!® A new line of affordably priced, versatile all-inclusive kits is here! Creativity made easy!Click here for more details.
On Wednesday of last week, I shared how to turn the tombstone box from the Cute Halloween Suite into a rectangular box storing a mini accordion photo album. And in that how-to video I also shared a few more projects (those in the photos below). You’ll want to refer to that video for the tips I shared. And then you can look below at the photos of these projects for measurements and the supplies I used.
Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post). And then let me know if you have any questions.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Here are my three Cute Halloween projects…
This first one is the simplest of the three. I used the tombstone box as intended, added a strip of the designer paper that I colored with Blends Markers, and added a couple cute faces that I punched from another sheet of the designer paper.
Measurements…
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (candy design): 1/2” x 3”
Black & White Gingham Ribbon: 3-1/2″
Smoky Slate Cardstock: scrap for stamping and punching sentiment
I reconfigured the tombstone box for this second project to open from the top. (The video will help explain, so be sure to watch that.) The ribbon is the same, but this time colored with the Highland Heather Blends Marker. And the Highland Heather layer behind the white label comes from the same punch. I cut it in half and spaced the pieces away about 1/4″ before adding the stamped white label.
Measurements…
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (black design): 2-3/4” x 3-3/4”
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (boo design): 1-3/4” x 2-3/4”
Black & White Gingham Ribbon: 3-1/2″ for the straight piece and 3″ for the knot
Basic White Cardstock: scrap for stamping and punching sentiment
Highland Heather Cardstock: scrap for punching sentiment layer
This last project is a Pinwheel Tower Card. I’ve share this fun fold card before back on July 7th. Click here to refer to directions in that post’s video for tips on assembling.
Measurements…
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (boo design): 4-1/4” x 4-1/2” scored parallel to the short side at 1”, 2”, 3” & 4”
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (cats & pumpkins design): Two pieces… 2-1/2” x 4”
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (skeletons & tombstones design): Two pieces… 2-1/2” x 4”
Cute Halloween Designer Paper (gray stripes design): Four pieces… 1-1/2” x 4”
Black & White Gingham Ribbon: Two pieces… 2″
Basic Black Cardstock: Four pieces… 2-3/4” x 4-1/4”
It’s an adorable suite as you can see. And how fun that the tombstone boxes can take on so many different looks.
I hope I inspired your creativity. Thanks for stopping.
