On The Go Suitcase Boxes Yesterday I went live exclusively with my Supporter Members of my YouTube channel. And I demonstrated these adorable On The Go Suitcase Boxes for them. One of the perks of being a Supporter Member (on the second tier of membership) is an exclusive Live each month. It’s a more casual, relaxed Live. In fact I made even more mistakes than usual…Hahaha! But it was a fun morning hanging out with everyone.
February 2025 Kit Together Cards Here are six new alternates that I created the Notes From The Heart Paper Pumpkin Kit. This kit contained supplies for 3 sets of 3 cards. So for my February 16th Kit Together event I mailed each participant 1/3 of this kit. And from that we created these six cards. Event attendees joined together virtually on Zoom for 2 hours of fun and creativity. I demonstrated how to make these cards. And we also took time to socialize, laugh & have fun, and work on our own kits or other projects. There were prize drawings at the end, an ordering special, and I emailed out the recording of the demonstration along with a PDF tutorial for all the cards. It was a lot of fun!
The instructions, tips, supply list, and measurements are exclusive for those that took part in the event. But I at least wanted to share images of the cards I demonstrated to give you a little creative inspiration today AND to entice you to sign up for a future kit together. My November Paper Pumpkin kit arrived, and I just designed my first set of alternate projects using the contents of this unique kit and a bit of other coordinating product! I’ll share many of them today. I’ll share more on December 6th. Summer is my favorite season. And I’m sad to see the warm weather going away. So with my mind on the activities of a hot August afternoon at the lake, I put together a dragonfly birthday card using summer colors and images.
Then I made multiples of this card to send to those in my Stampers With ART group with September and October birthdays. I tend to make fall cards for Autumn birthdays. But I don’t think anyone will mind getting a little glimmering dragonfly card this year instead.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating this card with the Happiest Day Stamp Set, the So Swirly 3D Embossing Folder, inks with Blending Brushes and Daubers, the Modern Oval Punch, Festive Glimmer Paper, Stampin’ Blends Markers, Wink of Stella, and other coordinating products from Stampin’ Up!®. We celebrated my parents’ 60th Wedding Anniversary with family on Sunday. And everyone was able to attend. So we made sure to take a bunch of group photos. Below is one of them.

Do you ever do that…order just the stamp set (or just the dies) thinking you had ordered them both in the bundle? That’s what I did with the new Online Exclusive, Sophisticated Sled. But now I have the both in my hands. And I’ve put together some fun fold cards featuring the skates and sled images from this bundle. I’m excited to share!
Because it was so similar to the these outside-in fun fold cards that I shared back in January, I extended the name to “Diamond Outside-In” cards. But this fun fold card has also been called the Diamond Fold Card or the Diamond Flip Fold Card.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with the newly released Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set & Dies (products from the Online Exclusives), Thoughtful Journey Patterned Paper, Winter Meadow Patterned Paper, coordinating cardstocks and inks, and other Stampin’ Up!® products. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. I have several of their organizers in my craft space. In this photo below I’m using their 6×6 Paper Holders to hold and organize my pre-cut cards and envelope packs. You can see I also have their 12×12 paper holders in my IKEA unit.
I have painted many of my units. If you are planning to do so, be sure to use spray paint to seal the wood. A couple light coats of this will act as a primer. Then apply your final color if you want to use a latex paint to match decor. Lightly sanding between coats is really helpful too! (Do not remove any dividers when painting product. The added paint will make it difficult to slide the dividers back in place.)
