Here are the intended cards designed for this April 2024 Delicate Wings kit. (Click here for Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video to help you assemble these as intended.)
I’ve already shared some other alternate projects using the contents of this kit on April 26th and on April 24th. Be sure to visit to see those creations.
Today I am sharing…
A Chocolate Nugget Treat Holder
AND… a 12×12 scrapbook page layout
Chocolate Nugget Treat Holder
I was inspired by a gift I received from fellow demonstrator, Theresa Gloe. I took her measurements and made a version using this kit! It was so fun and easy to make, too.
But I thought it was easiest to show the initial measurements, cuts, folds, and assembly with video instruction. So on Wednesday, I added that at the end of my Online Paper Crafting Class.
Watch my video starting around the 40 minute mark first by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already in my blog post). Then scroll down for the full list of measurements and to see close-up photos.
Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
3-1/2″ x 9-3/4″ scored parallel to the short side at 1-1/4″, 3-1/4″, 4-1/2″, 6-1/2″, 7-1/8″ and 9-1/8″ then scored parallel to the long side at 1-1/4″ and 2-1/4″
1/2″ x 1-1/4″
Lost Lagoon (blue) & gold butterfly paper (from the kit card base)
(2) 1″ x 1-7/8”
Basic Beige (beige) & gold butterfly paper (from two kit envelope flaps)
(4) 1″ x 3″
(2) 7/8″ x 1-7/8″
(2) 7/8″ x 1-1/8″
After assembling the treat holder, add the Basic Beige layers to the sides of the box and around the chocolate nugget candies. Add the Lost Lagoon layers to both top sides of the middle section. Stamp and add the sentiment layer. Then embellish with a few kit butterflies. Add the wrapped candies and give to someone you love! So sweet, right? (pun intended)
12×12 scrapbook Page Layout
The pages with this month’s kit look like they could be lifted off my table top. I couldn’t stop adding the pretty butterflies! Hahaha 🦋
Measurements…
Pool Party Cardstock
(2) 12″ x 12″
Basic Gray Cardstock
(3) 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
5-3/8″ x 7-3/8″
3-7/8″ x 7-1/8″
Gold flecked card base from the kit
(3) 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
4-1/8″ x 4-1/8″
5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″
Basic Gray and gold butterflies card base from the kit
2-1/8″ x 3-7/8″
2-1/4″ x 3-7/8″
2-5/8″ x 3-7/8″
Champagne foil from the kit
Scrap for die-cutting 6-sided stitched label
Basic Beige envelope from the kit
Scrap for stamping then punching 1-3/4″ Circle
This photo below shows where my mind went first when I started creating the pages. I love that layer from the kit with two butterflies and wanted to build around that with more knowing that I would make the blue one 3-D by die-cutting it with the coordinating dies from the Thanks & Beyond Dies. I also imagined the bottom right area would be where I would place my title.
I transfered this over to my 12×12 cardstock base and added a couple stamped butterflies and photo mat layers. You can see the blue butterfly here is die-cut and reattached just in the center so the wings fold up a bit. I also added a few of the butterflies with Dimensionals to create depth and shadow.
I couldn’t stop with just those few butterflies, so I added the Basic Gray card base as designer paper. It’s really 3 small pieces but there is the illusion that it’s one long strip. The speckle stamp image added a bit more “texture.” So I added it here and there. And the title layers I added with Dimensionals as well.
I realize that the gold speckled photo mats may get covered once I add in my photos. But I may add slightly smaller photos so some of the foiled areas are still visible.
This kit was so much fun to create with!
I hope I inspired your creativity with what I shared today! If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own.

I got excited after creating my Delicate Wings Tucked Gatefold Card last Friday, and I quickly created a couple more that morning (yes…before packing for my trip 🤣) with the Thoughtful Journey Memories & More Cards and coordinating Designer Paper.
One is vertically oriented and the other is horizontal.
These cards also use very little products and require no stamps and ink. You can find the full list of products at the bottom of my post.
I’ll walk you through the steps of recreating the vertical one first. Here is the view with the card closed. The front panel is from the Memories & More card pack and the back is from a sheet of the designer paper.
And here is the card open. As you probably saw on last week’s post, This type of fun fold card opens by bending back those tucked side panels
Vertical Tucked Gatefold Card
Start by preparing your pieces.
Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
5-1/2″ x 8″ scored parallel to the short side in from each end at 1-7/8″ and 3-3/4″
Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper
4-1/4” x 5-1/2”
Thoughtful Journey Memories & More Card
3″ x 4″
Pretty Peacock Cardstock
3-1/8” x 4-1/8”
Gold Foil
3-1/4” x 4-1/4”
Use a Bone Folder to fold your card base along the score lines in the directions shown in this photo below.
Layer and attach the 3″ x 4″ Memories & More card, the Pretty Peacock piece, and the Gold Foil piece.
Cut your paper parallel to the long side first at 2-3/8″ and then again at 1-7/8.” You will get three strips with a very narrow one in the middle.
Attach the narrow strip to the middle area of the card base.
Close the card and attach the other two strips to the sides leaving a little bit of white cardstock showing on the inner edges.
Flip the card over and trim any excess designer paper off.
After that add Dimensionals on the middle front designer paper strip, but make sure you don’t go too high or too low. Use the layered front piece as a guide.
Add this layered front piece so it is centered. Then add a couple dragonfly embellishments. Bend up the wings a bit on these front ones if you wish. Then add some flat ones on the inside outer panels of white to finish off the card. And that’s it!
The horizontal card is put together in a similar way.
The measurements are just a bit different. And instead of embellishing the inside outer white panels, I added a couple panels from another larger 4″ x 6″ Memories & More Card to the inside inner white panels.
Horizontal Tucked Gatefold Card
Start by preparing your pieces.
Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 10-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side in from each end at 2-1/2″ and 5″
3-1/8” x 4-1/8”
Thoughtful Journey Designer Paper
4-1/4” x 5-1/2”
Thoughtful Journey Memories & More Card
3″ x 4″ (for front)
Two pieces that are 2-1/4″ x 4″ (for inside background)
Textured Metallic Foil (Tungsten )
3-1/4” x 4-1/4”
Directions…
Use a Bone Folder to fold along the score lines of your card base.
Layer and attach the 3″ x 4″ Memories & More card, the smaller Basic White piece, and the Tungsten Foil piece.
Cut your designer paper parallel to the short side first at 3″ and then again at 2-1/2″ to get three strips as shown here.
Then add five Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gem embellishments to this layered front piece and the two 2-1/4″ x 4″ pieces from the other Memories & More card to the inner white panels as shown.
Close the card and add four Misty Moonlight Tinsel Gem embellishments to the designer paper under the trees.
These cards are seriously so easy to make. AND…the recipient can stand it up on display if they wish.

Today is the first day that the new 2024-25 Annual Catalog goes live! And I’ve got a super fun card to share featuring a few of the new products: the Spotlight On Nature Dies, the Under The Moon Stamp Set, and the Summer Splash Classic Stampin’ Pad. Today is also the day I normally go live teaching in an Online Paper Crafting Class. But my class is pre-recorded for you today, because I’m currently in Mexico more than likely relaxing by the resort pool or looking out on the ocean (I’m not sure, since I wrote most of this post before I left).
Today’s card is a Pop-Out Framed Display Card…a fun fold card. And it’s my incentive trip* swap card.
I created this fold based on the Bridge Fold cards, Pillar Pop-Up Window cards, and Diorama cards. Yes, I’m in Mexico with other Stampin’ Up! trip achievers.* The timing for the trip wasn’t ideal since it overlapped the release of the new catalog 🤪, but we are all dealing well with it – either forcing ourselves to stay offline OR enjoying checking in on our emails & messages while being pampered with warm weather and tropical drinks. On that note, I am VERY grateful to all of you who support me in some way in my business. Thank you! It’s a joy to be able to share the art of paper crafting with others.
You can find my pre-recorded class on YouTube and Facebook. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here(or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions. Also be sure to check out the new products AND the new In Color Starter Kit offer. (Information is below towards the bottom of my post.)
I hope you enjoyed what I shared.
Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a downloadable PDF. Scroll down further for a complete list of products most of them linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4”
4-1/4” x 6-1/4” scored in on each end at 5/8” and 1”
1-1/2” x 4-1/8”
2-1/8” x just under 4-1/4”
4-1/4” x 4-1/4” for die-cutting ring & sun
1/4” x 2-1/2”
1-5/8” x 3”
Here are photos of the finished card.
Can you see the Wink of Stella on the sun’s rays and under the boat? Probably not that well. It was hard to photograph. But that shimmer really adds a lot when you see it in person.
And here is a photo I took of all my swap cards ready to take with me to Mexico. See how they fold flat?
I hope I was able to inspire your creativity today!
Tune into my events on my Facebook Page to see notices of my upcoming Online Paper Crafting Classes. Or subscribe to my YouTube channel. * Earning the incentive trip is something very few Stampin’ Up! demonstrators achieve—less than 1%, in fact! I’m so excited to be among the few that earned this getaway.

As this blog post is releasing, I’m at the airport with my oldest son Nicholas getting ready to board our plane to Mexico. But prerecorded an instructional video for how to double the cards you can get from the By Your Side Kits Collection Card Kit. And I’m sharing that with you today.
By Your Side was released into in the Kits Collection in early April. If you are a pet lover, you will ADORE this one! There are extra doggie and kitty die-cut images – 8 of each. So if you complete kit cards as intended you can make 8 cards AND still have 8 more animal images left over. It’s the perfect kit for creating and going beyond. And so I did that with just the addition of just some Basic Black Cardstock, an additional ink color, and envelopes. Instead of making just 8 cards, I made 16.
I thought it would be more fun to explain how to put these cards together in video format. So today I have for you another bonus Online Paper Crafting Class.
Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a complete list of products (linked to where you can find them in my online store) that I used in my demonstration. Visit Stampin’ Up!’s Kit Collection by clicking here.

Here are photos of my finished cards. Remember in the video I share how to change the supplies from the two different “kit cards” into four. Doing this with the other three sets of “kit cards,” you will end up with 16. You won’t see all 16 below…just the four variations.
Oh my goodness! This animals are so adorable. I had fun creating and sharing these cards. I hope you enjoyed what I shared! If you love cute dog and cat imagery or know of others who are loving pet owners, you’ll want to grab up this kit. Remember online-only products like the kits from the Kits Collection and the Online Exclusives are available while supplies last.
Subscribe to my YouTube channel. And then click on the bell next to the subscribe button and set notifications to “all” so you can get updates when I share and when I go live. My next Online Paper Crafting Class will post this Wednesday, May 1st at 11 AM Central Time. Normally that’s when I go Live each week. But I’ll be vacationing and the class will be pre-recorded. I hope you can tune in! I think you’ll love the fun fold card I have to share.
So yes, Nick and I are at the airport heading to Mexico to get pampered on the incentive trip* I earned through Stampin’ Up! We will be at the Xcaret all-inclusive resort April 27-May 4 in the Playa Del Carmen area. I’m taking him as my guest this time because he’s a high school senior this year! My goodness time flies. We are really looking forward to being pampered and spoiled, trying fun foods, relaxing by the pool and ocean, zip-lining in the rainforest, swimming through caves, and more! I promise to take photos and share about our adventures when I get back.
Thank you for all you do to support me in my business. I appreciate you ALL and feel very blessed. ❤️
* Earning the incentive trip is something very few Stampin’ Up! demonstrators achieve—less than 1%, in fact! I’m so excited to be among the few that earned this getaway.

I woke up this AM with a card idea and went straight to work putting it together. No video today… and it’s just a quick post because I need to get to packing! (I leave for Mexico tomorrow!!) But I had to share this card with you that I made with the April 2024 Delicate Wings Paper Pumpkin kit.
It’s based on a fun fold card I made back in May 2023 (gosh about a year ago!) for my Layering Leaves Class-to-Go. I called it my Tucked Gatefold Wreath card. But this one I’m sharing today is a vertical version of it. (By the way, the tutorial for that class is a popular one which includes other cards/projects as well and it’s still available for purchase.)
I already shared four other alternate project ideas using this April 2024 Delicate Wings kit just a couple days. Check it out here. But I couldn’t resist and had to put this Tucked Gatefold Card together and share!
The only extra products I used are listed here. In fact, I didn’t even use the stamps or ink from the kit. So one could just use the refill kit, coordinating dies, and the Iridescent Foil Gems to make it! To purchase the refill kit and dies, be sure to have an active Paper Pumpkin subscription or click here to get a subscription going, and then visit the Paper Pumpkin products available just to subscribers for purchase. (Both Cut & Emboss Machines are listed here, but you only need one. The mini size will work with these dies.)
Delicate Wings Tucked Gatefold Card…
To begin, I scored my flat card base in on each side at 2-1/8″ and at 4″. Then I trimmed 1/4″ off each side.
I folded along the four score lines I had just added (as shown) but not along the middle one that already was there. I attached the 1/4″ strips to the middle 1/2″ wide area with glue. There was a small overlap when I added them, because I made sure they were just inside the outer middle creases. This helped to reinforce the center. I also attached the cut-out/printed butterfly layer to the champagne foil layer (lifting the wings a bit).
OH! I also used the Thanks & Beyond Dies to cut a small detailed butterfly from another quarter piece of champagne foil. And then cut it in half to get two wings for adding later. But in hindsight, I wonder if I could’ve cut that shape from the foil piece I had layered here (maybe in a conspicuous spot on the bottom portion that gets covered by the top layer).
Next I used the champagne foil layered piece as a guide and added Dimensionals to the center of the card base in a few spots.
I closed my card by bringing in the two sides (like a Gatefold Card) and attached the layered champagne foil/butterfly piece to it with just those three center Dimensionals making sure it was centered and aligned. Then I opened the card by bending back those tucked side panels, and I added the two wings I had die-cut earlier (with glue) and the four butterflies from the kit to the inside panels (using Glue Dots on the center backs of each so I could bend the wings up a bit). I finished the card by adding some gems to the front panel. Here is the finished front.
And here is the inside. Yay! So pretty, so fun, and so easy to make!
Okay. Time to pack!
