For those of you not familiar with these kits, they get delivered straight to your mailbox in the months of your choice. Inside are all the supplies you need AND the directions for assembling the kit cards/projects designed. Here are the intended cards designed for this July 2024 kit. (Click here for Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video to help you assemble these as intended.)
I’ve already shared some other alternate projects using the contents of this kit on July 24th. Be sure to visit to see the gift boxes and cards I created.
Today my projects include a variation on one of those boxes, two different types of fun-fold cards, and a scrapbook page layout. Lots of stuff, right? So instead of writing out the details for each of these, I’ve recorded videos to share the details for them. You’ll want to view those videos because they will include variations of the ones in the photos below!

I stepped back in time this weekend in a few different ways. I was in Walnut Grove, MN with my husband, sister, and three friends for the Little House In the Prairie 50th Year Reunion event celebrating the TV series with fellow fans and former cast members, connecting with a bit of American history from the Laura Ingalls Wilder days, and NOT connecting much with the internet.
So I thought it was a fitting time to share two more cards that I made with the Take To The Sky Suite which features historical biplane imagery. (In the early years of aviation – the early 1900’s – biplanes were the first popular style of aircraft.) I shared my first Take To The Sky Tulip Fold card on 6/5/24 (seen below). But I made another version featuring a couple different colors and different sentiments from the set.
This fold is similar to the Grad Cap Fold card that I featured in my 5/29/24 blog post. So I made another biplane card featuring the grad cap fold, too, Here are those two other versions.

Do you ever do that…order just the stamp set (or just the dies) thinking you had ordered them both in the bundle? That’s what I did with the new Online Exclusive, Sophisticated Sled. But now I have the both in my hands. And I’ve put together some fun fold cards featuring the skates and sled images from this bundle. I’m excited to share!
Because it was so similar to the these outside-in fun fold cards that I shared back in January, I extended the name to “Diamond Outside-In” cards. But this fun fold card has also been called the Diamond Fold Card or the Diamond Flip Fold Card.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with the newly released Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set & Dies (products from the Online Exclusives), Thoughtful Journey Patterned Paper, Winter Meadow Patterned Paper, coordinating cardstocks and inks, and other Stampin’ Up!® products. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. What are alternate projects? Well, I take the supplies from the kits and create other things…different cards and projects. This way I can show others how to stretch the kits in new ways. A kit that you may have not been a fan of might all of a sudden be more attractive (or a favorite) because of a new way of using the supplies!
And I’m sharing my first alternates with you today. Even if you didn’t get this kit, I hope the ideas I share can be applied to other products you own, and I hope what I share inspires your creativity!

I shared the Grad Cap Fold in one of my recent posts. If you enjoyed that card fold, then you’ll love this one, too as it’s very similar. It’s called the Tulip Fold.
