Remember the card I shared last Friday? Here is that same wreath on mini 3" x 3" cards…four each in a mini Pizza Box.

Such a cute gift to give – a box of mini cards that the recipient could use as tags for holiday presents!

Measurements for each set of cards:
- Basic Black Cardstock: 3" x 6" folded in half for the card base (4 of these)…3-1/4" x 3-1/4" for the top of the box
- Whisper White Cardstock: 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" for the inside of the cards (4)…and scraps for stamping and punching out four wreaths and one "for you" tag
- Christmas Around the World Designer Paper: 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" for the outside of the cards (4)…1/4" x 3-1/4" strip to decorate the outside of the box.
- Real Red 1/8" Ribbon: 6" for each of the cards (for the bows)…4" for the top of the box (ends are wrapped to the back of the black cardstock)
Tips:
- I attached bows on each wreath with a Glue Dot that I rolled up a bit to make it skinnier.
- The wreath layer on each card is attached with Dimensionals
- I masked the "I am thankful for you" stamp to get ink on just the "for you." (Put masking tape or washi tape over the "I am thankful" parts, ink up the stamp, pull off the tape, and stamp the "for you" image onto your cardstock.)
- I added a mini bow as is to the top of one box. On the other box, I took a bow apart and curled the ribbon to get the spiral look.

I have a super fun card to share with you tomorrow evening during our Thailand Achiever's Blog Hop. You'll want to come back and visit so you can check out this fantastic pocket card AND the tutorial video to go along with it. OR…be sure you are subscribed to my blog so you can get emails each and every time I post my new ideas.

Such an adorable way to present a little gift to a coworker, a friend, or a special loved one at the holidays! Look at this cute idea…

Fellow demonstrator, Sandy Carlson presented some fun project ideas during the Thailand Incentive Trip's Share Fair event. And this box in a card idea was one of them. So I took her measurements and made a couple of my own.

Measurements for the green card with box:
- Old Olive Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half for the card base…and 3" x 3"
- Whisper White Cardstock: 1" x 5-1/2"…and scrap for stamping and punching out "No Peeking" piece
- Real Red Cardstock: 1-1/8" x 5-1/2"
- Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper (black & white sparkle pattern): 6" x 6"
- Red Tinsel Trim: about 24"
Directions:
- Keep card base folded and trim out the 2" x 2" section (which will be come 2" x 4" when unfolded). Use the information in the photo below to guide you.

- Score a 1/2" (actually just a little bit under 1/2") in on all four sides of the Old Olive 3" x 3" piece. Trim in on the score lines on two opposite sides. The angle trim these tabs as shown. Use the information in the photo below to guide you.

- Score 2" in on all four sides of the designer 6" x 6" paper piece. Trim in on the score lines on two opposite sides. Use the information in the photo below to guide you.

- Emboss the Whisper White strip, attach to the Real Red strip, and add to the bottom front of the card.
- Stamp and punch out the "No Peeking" image. Add to the left front of the card with Dimensionals.
- Color a couple rhinestones with a red Sharpie marker and add to this "No Peeking" piece.
- Assemble the box base and box lid with Fast Fuse (or Tear & Tape Adhesive).
- Put a light-weight small gift inside. Put the lid on. Tie up the box with the Red Tinsel Trim. And insert the box into the opening of the "slightly-open" card.
For the Red version of this card, follow the directions in a similar fashion, but use these measurements.
Measurements for the red card with box:
- Real Red Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half for the card base…and 3" x 3"
- Whisper White Cardstock: scrap for stamping and punching out "Just For You" piece
- Old Olive Cardstock: scrap for punching out a label piece
- Basic Black Cardstock: 1-3/4" x 1-3/4"
- Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper (green polka-dot pattern): 6" x 6"
- Merry Little Christmas Designer Paper (white snow on black pattern): 2" x 5-1/2"
- Vintage Crochet Trim: 5-1/2"
A Tip:
- To add the Old Olive layer behind the "Just For You" label piece, cut the punched-out Old Olive label piece in half as shown. This way you can give the illusion that the green layer is wider by attaching it to the underside of the white one peeking out on the left and right.

The downfall of this cute card is that it's not an easy one to put in the mail. So don't bother with the envelope. Just put it on someone's desk or on a table where is will be noticed when the recipient arrives. (Sandy credits Becky Roberts for sharing the idea with her originally. Thank yous to both Sandy and Becky!)

Product shares were cut, wrapped & packaged up this past Saturday – Monday! And they were put in the mail on Tuesday. Thank you to all who took part in my 2017 Holiday Product Shares. I have one last round that I ordered today, too. So if you took part in the shares and got your invoice just recently, you can peek at this photo to see what you should be expecting a little over 2 weeks from now. Enjoy all those fun goodies!!

Sep 12, 2017 | 3-D Projects & Containers, Christmas/Winter, Halloween, Love & Wedding, Many Holidays, Several Cards or Swaps, Valentines |
Yesterday I shared a cute little "welcome baby" card that I made with the A Little Wild stamp set from p. 108 the Annual Catalog. I also introduced you to the unique images in that set and a similar set in the Holiday Catalog on p. 47 called Seasonal Chums.
Today I thought I'd share with you another version of that elephant card (refer back to yesterday's post for directions and measurements.) AND some cute mini treat containers using both these sets that my friend Susan Campfield designed.

This one would be great to give to that special someone (Valentine's Day, Anniversary, etc.). Plus the ribbon has X's (kisses) on it!
These are the supplies I used for this version of the card. Note that I substituted the Cherry Cobbler marker for the Rhinestone. I also used this marker for the ears (since we don't have that color in the pencils)…Just scribble a bit of ink onto a none-porous surface (like the case of the stamp set), dip the Blender pen in to get just a little bit of color, and use that the "tint" the ears and flower petals.
Product List
Here are those SUPER cute treat containers. Click here to see Susan's tutorial video for these first three on her blog posted on August 22nd. The elephant one is similar, but the front and back of the elephant isn't connected, and a ribbon was added to the tab on top.

My new website design is right around the corner. I can't wait!! Drop-down menus will be added, I'll have an updated banner at the top with a brighter green (my favorite green), and it will be easier to find things you are looking for (I hope). And my website address will stay the same, so no need to search for me. 😉

Sep 9, 2017 | Celebrate/Hooray!, Christmas/Winter, Fun Folds, Paper Pumpkin, Pocket page Scrapbooking, Scrapbook Pages, Several Cards or Swaps, Tips/Techniques/Tutorials |
I am getting excited for my September kit to ship, but I have a few more ideas to share with you that I created with this past month's Paper Pumpkin kit called Giftable Greetings.
This image below shows what we were to make with our August Paper Pumpkin kits. So pretty, right?!

But I always challenge myself to see what else I can come up with using the contents of the kit. I love thinking outside the box and creating alternate projects.
This first one is this super simple 12×12 photo pocket page layout.

I disassembled the box that came in the kit, flattened it out and cut two pieces from it (6" x 4" and 3" x 4") for two of the pockets. The smaller piece I left alone, and I only added the "congrats" title piece on Dimensionals to the the larger one.

Then for the third pocket piece I cut down one of the envelopes to 3" x 4", stamped "you did it!" across the top section, added a couple leaf stickers, and stuck on a flower. I tried to replicate the flower in the other pieces…I sponged the edges of a peach die-cut flower in the kit and the backside of one of the smaller flowers with Calypso Coral ink. I then stuck those two together and stamped the center. Easy peasy! Right?

I usually work with 2 kits when I create all my alternate projects. So I had another box! This was the one that I referred to in my video – the one that had the bottom popping up when I first opened my kit. I decided to use that inside flap as a cover instead. So I reinforced all the other sections of the box with strong Tear & Tape Adhesive, connected the back flaps, folded the outer edge of what was now the lid of my box the opposite direction to tuck it inside the box and help hold the box shut, and then I added my decorations (ribbon, leaves, and a tag).

I lined the inside with the blue tissue paper that comes with each Paper Pumpkin kit and filled the box with chocolates! (yum)

This last idea I have for you is a fun way to use up all the extra foliage stickers. Stampin' Up! gave us a ton of those in our August kits!
I used many extra supplies to build this card. But if you don't have these items on hand you could always just use the idea of the wreath in a different card layout.
For this card I cut some Garden Green cardstock to 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and scored it parallel to the 5-1/2" edge at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4". Then I added four 2" x 5-3/8" panels – 2 Real Red designer paper pieces from the Quilted Christmas pack on the two outer sections and 2 Whisper White pieces of cardstock on the two inner sections. I tied on some gold ribbon and folded it shut into a z-fold.

Then I cut some Whisper White cardstock with the largest circle die in the Stitched Shapes Framelits set and stamped the center with the sentiment. (To stamp the sentiment first ink the "thinking" portion of the stamp. Stamp it down & clean it BEFORE inking just the "of you" portion of the stamp.)
The last step is building the wreath. I seriously just stuck down full and partial stickers starting at one section and going around. There was no rhyme or reason – no math or anything involved in this process. So go for it! Then I attached the berries and added this entire circle piece to the card with Dimensionals (under the left half only).

So of course… I'm on pins and needles from all this suspense!

Jul 30, 2017 | Blog Hops, Christmas/Winter, Many Holidays, Several Cards or Swaps, Tips/Techniques/Tutorials, What's NEW!? |

A new stamp set from the 2017 Holiday Catalog is being made available a month early…August 1st (and in fact is available now as a part of a bonus gift pack to anyone who gets the Starter Kit this month in July). So I thought I would introduce it to you with the help of many of my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator friends in our Carols of Christmas Blog Hop. See what I have to share, then check out all the other blogs in the hop to see even more creative ideas that we came up this Carols of Christmas stamp set and coordinating set of dies!
This card (that I created this afternoon) was super simple to make.

In fact it was so simple that it could easily be duplicated over and over again for a set of 2017 Christmas cards. If you wish to recreate it, here is some information that will help you out.
Measurements:
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock (base of card): 11" x 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2" & 2-1/4" x 2-7/8"
- Early Espresso Cardstock: 5-3/8" x 4-1/8"
- Old Olive Cardstock: scraps for die-cutting trees
- Metallic Copper Thread: about 20-30"
A Few Tips:
- Emboss Early Espresso cardstock with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.
- Die cut trees from Old Olive cardstock scraps.
- Stamp Cherry Cobbler cardstock with "Deck the Halls" image using VersaMark ink. Add Copper embossing powder. (Tap off the excess.) Then use the Heat Tool to set the powder and create a beautiful metallic embossed sentiment piece.
- Add Fast Fuse to the back side of the Cherry Cobbler cardstock piece and add loops of Copper Thread that peek out in the upper right and lower left corners.
- Assemble card using Fast Fuse for the Early Espresso layer and the top left Old Olive trees. Use Mini Stampin' Dimensionals to add the Cherry Cobbler sentiment and the lower right Old Olive tree.
CLICK HERE to download the flyer containing the order numbers for the stamp set, the coordinating thinlits and the bundle of both (if you wish to save 10% by ordering them together).

I hope you enjoyed my card idea. Thanks for visiting! Have fun on the hop.
