I’ve been dying to share this particular project with you ever since sharing my guacamole cards a year ago. (Forgive me for taking SO long.) I finally took time this past week to create with my adapted pattern. And now I’d like to present to you two more Hexagon Platform Pop-Up cards! I hope you can join me this week for this 2-part series sharing two different versions of this impressive fun fold card…one with Cutest Cows Bundle and one with the Submarine Life Bundle… new bundles that debuted in the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalog.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions along with some fun paper crafting tips and tricks for creating the initial parts of these adorable Hexagon Platform Pop-Up Cards with the Cutest Cows Stamp Set, the coordinating Cutest Cows Builder Punch, the Submarine Life Stamp Set Set, the coordinating Submarine Life Builder Punch, and other coordinating product. I have an adorable treat/gift box to share with you today. Paired with the Little Debbie Unicorn Cakes, this box is a fun Valentine idea if you are looking for something to still share with your special loved ones. Don’t worry about owning all the products (although you could certainly expedite an order). You can apply the directions to cardstock, designer paper, and accents you already own.
Where did this inspiration come from? On January 30th, Nancy Forsberg & Kayla Cory from StampingBAE demonstrated how to make a cute box during our Stampers With ART team party. We all prepared our supplies ahead of time based on the list Nancy & Kayla shared. Then during the event these two showed us all step-by-step how to put their intended version of the project together. Good news!! Soon after they also shared publicly! Visit their February 1st blog post for photos, measurements, and their instructional video.
This is the one I created after their team party demonstration. And yep…I went out and bought those Little Debbie Unicorn Cakes, too! I used the supplies listed below. (These products I used are linked to where you can find them in my online store.)
Measurements…
Berry Burst Cardstock
5-1/2” x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 1-1/4″, 6-1/2″, and 7-3/4″ and then scored parallel to the long side at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 3-3/4″, and 5″ (then cut and assembled according to the directions shared in Nancy & Kayla’s video)

Watch Nancy & Kayla’s video for the instruction for the box. Then keep reading for the specific details for the one I made and shared here.
For my floral accents, I inked and stamped the two flowers onto the Basic White scrap paper (one with Calypso Coral ink, the other with Berry Burst ink). I inked the leaves with a combination of two inks. First I inked the stamps with Parakeet Party ink. Then I used a Dauber and added Pretty Peacock ink at the base of the leaf images. Then I exhaled on the inked stamps to remoisten the ink, and stamped the images onto more Basic White scrap paper.
After die-cutting the images, I curled these pieces a bit with the Bone Folder tool and attached them at the base of the box using Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and Dimensionals.
After stamping the sentiment with Berry Burst ink onto the Basic White strip, I trimmed the ends and added it to the box using Dimensionals.
Then I embellished with Iridescent Rhinestones.
Don’t forget to add the treat before gifting the box. Sweet idea. Right!?
I love my Precision Tip Glue Bottles! I’ve really found it much easier to add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to those intricate, detailed, and tiny pieces in my paper crafting projects now that I have some of that glue in these bottles.
Many of you have purchased these bottles using the link in My Favorite Extras. I’m glad you are also enjoying the ease they provide in paper crafting!
But occasionally I get the question…”How do you add the glue without it getting all over?” So I made this short tips video that I hope you will find useful.

Home décor samplers are quite popular right now. They are a fun way to make more than just a card. The idea is to create lots of coordinating pieces with fun layers and elements, and then arrange them together on a flat background (often times within a frame) to hang on the wall or prop on a shelf or mantle.

I just recently started noticing a special fun fold card out there shared by a few different paper crafters on YouTube. And I decided I wanted to design a simpler flatter version that would fit into the medium (A2 size) envelopes that Stampin’ Up!® offers. I wanted it flatter so that it could possibly even be mailed with a one-ounce stamp. AND I wanted it simpler so it would be quicker to put together.
Well I’m proud to say I did it! My version is made from two long sheets of designer paper and is 4” x 5-1/2” when flattened to enclose in an envelope! So there is no more need to create six individual diamond-shaped sections that need to be glued together.

Today I’m sharing an adorable gift box that I created with products from the Bee Mine Suite (the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, the Bee Builder Punch, the Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon, the Square Pillow Boxes, and the Hearts & Flowers embellishments), a Wobble, and the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.
Because the suite products are not available for everyone yet, you will not be able to view them in the online store. But I have included the names and order numbers in my Product List at the end of my post so that you can find them come January 4th.
Isn’t this bee adorable!? And he wobbles so it looks like he’s a happy, dancing bee!
Before assembling the pillow box, run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. (FYI…the opening will be on top.)
After assembling, tie on a length of Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon around the middle securing the bow off to the right. Remember…the box opens from the top so the ribbon won’t have to be removed.
Stamp the black stripes & stinger image first onto a scrap of Basic White Thick Cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink. Then stamp the bee body with Daffodil Delight ink and stamp the smiling face with black. (I thought it was easiest to connect the two images by stamping the dark one first.) Stamp the wings two times in Daffodil Delight ink and the antennae once in Tuxedo Black ink on other scrap pieces. Then punch them all out and glue them together to form the bee.
Adhere a Wobble to the box tucked in just above and behind the ribbon (you can see this in the above photo). Then add the bee to the other sticky end of the Wobble. Be sure to move the bee to make sure the Wobble works (and because it’s fun). And finish off with the yellow and red heart embellishments.
It’s a good size box… 4″ x 4″ x 1-3/4″ (10.2 x 10.2 x 4.4 cm) when assembled. Plus the boxes are food safe and stampable.
As I mentioned on Friday’s post…Stampin’ Up! demonstrators get to order early. So the products in this suite aren’t available for everyone quite yet. But I hope you enjoy getting peeks at what will debut on January 4th. This suite will be quite popular I’m sure. It’s perfect for creating Valentines. And so I predict many ordering these items right away.
