Welcome to our All Star monthly blog hop for the Perennial Lavender Suite! We are excited to share even MORE ideas than what we are offering in our exclusive Video Class Bundle.
Home décor samplers are quite popular right now. They are a fun way to make more than just a card. The idea is to create lots of coordinating pieces with fun layers and elements, and then arrange them together on a flat background (often times within a frame) to hang on the wall or prop on a shelf or mantle.
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube and on Facebook step-by-step directions for creating this sampler with the Perennial Lavender Suite of products and how to adapt these elements to even make photo pages OR greeting cards! And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Be sure to watch the video by clicking here (or you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog post), scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for what I demonstrated. (Please subscribe to my YouTube channel or tune into my events on my Facebook Page so you can get updates when I share and go live).
Products I used… a complete list of products I used is shown below, and everything is linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Such a fun tip to use the frame, right? I think I forgot to mention in my video that the frame border is 1-1/4″ wide on all four sides.
And here are photos of the note cards I shared with a couple of the sampler elements…
…and then with the pieces laying on top of the pages I have for you in my 2/9/24 blog post, what it would all look like if you decided to take the elements and create a 12×12 photo page layout with them.

Tons of amazing ideas right there Rachel!! What an amazing idea to spark even more creativity! Love it.
Aww….thank you so much Cheryll. Yes…I kept going and had a hard time stopping. Hahaha!
Wow, love all of the cards, and of course love the paper.
Not a lavendar (scent) fan, but love the paper.
Thank you for sharing.
😊 You make a good point. Scents of flowers may not always pair up with the beauty of the imagery. Thankfully we don’t have to worry about scents with card making.
Such a great use for this suite and its gorgeous colors and patterns!
Is it intentional that Sue Vine and Erica Cerwin’s blogs are not linked in the blog hop list? They are not on any of the participants’ blog entries.
Responding a little late. Sorry about that.
The kinks are worked out now as you probably found out if you came back a bit later. Links not working are usually are only an issue right after a blog hop posts, but we reach out and help each other.
Glad you like the suite and came to visit our creations Alicia.
Wow! Gorgeous papers, gorgeous cards, Rachel! Thanks for your inspiration on our All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team.
Thank you Kylie. You’re so sweet. 🦋
