Do you ever do that…order just the stamp set (or just the dies) thinking you had ordered them both in the bundle? That’s what I did with the new Online Exclusive, Sophisticated Sled. But now I have the both in my hands. And I’ve put together some fun fold cards featuring the skates and sled images from this bundle. I’m excited to share!
Because it was so similar to the these outside-in fun fold cards that I shared back in January, I extended the name to “Diamond Outside-In” cards. But this fun fold card has also been called the Diamond Fold Card or the Diamond Flip Fold Card.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with the newly released Sophisticated Sled Stamp Set & Dies (products from the Online Exclusives), Thoughtful Journey Patterned Paper, Winter Meadow Patterned Paper, coordinating cardstocks and inks, and other Stampin’ Up!® products. Yesterday I shared three cards that I had made with the newly released Changing Leaves Hybrid Bundle found in the Online Exclusives section of the Online Store. Be sure to check out my 7/2/24 post for the how-to video and other details for these cards.
As I mentioned in my instructional video from yesterday, those three cards were based on this blueberry card design (shown below) that I initially made. I needed several of these blueberry hello cards to send out to those who purchased the Starter Kit recently. And I had quite a large stash of Azure Afternoon circles leftover from my May and July 2023 Layering Leaves Classes that I never threw out.
I’m completely in love with the Blueberry Bunches Stamp Set and it paired so well with those punched out circles. Circles are so eye-catching and make a great background! Plus, what better shape for a blueberry themed greeting card, right?
I’m sharing the measurements and supplies with you. But I don’t have written directions for you today or a separate how-to video. This is another short post today. But I wanted to give you a peek at one of the projects I’ll be sharing this week on Wednesday during my Online Paper Crafting Class. I’m hoping to share three different ones! So I hope you can tune into my YouTube channel at 11 AM Central Time that day to get instructions for this card and more.
I used the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper, the Citrus Blooms Dies, and the Distressed Tile Embossing Folder. You can find full list of the supplies I used below. I’ve also included measurements here.
Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2″
3-7/8″ x 5-1/2″
Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Scraps for die-cutting flowers
Night of Navy Cardstock
1/4″ strips
Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper
Navy and white pattern: 1/4″ strips
Oranges pattern: scrap for die-cutting coordinating image

For our June 2024 team swap, those in Stampers With ART Community that participated created and shared cards that featured new items from the 2024-25 Annual Catalog. (Click here to find a link to the current publication.) Most cards feature new dies, paper, or stamps. But some cards you’ll have to look very closely at to see what was added that was new. Maybe it was a new color, embellishment, or embossing folder.
Take a look at all the creativity! Those that made each card are mentioned in the watermarks of the photos. By the way, this is a “sharing post” only. These ideas are to inspire creativity not to instruct. Please don’t ask for further details. I don’t have a supply list or measurements for each of these cards. And I don’t want to pressure the creators to provide that. Thanks for understanding. Of course, if you see an idea that you’d like me to share in the future, let me know.
