I learned a creative fun fold card from my friend Alanna Wharf. It’s called a Back Fold Card, because the card folds back to allow the front to open. So I thought I would share more new products debuting in the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalog and demonstrate this fold for you today.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating this card (three versions of it!) with the Ice Cream Swirl Stamp Set, Ice Cream Swirl Dies, Lighter Than Air Designer Paper, Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots, Baker’s Twine Three Color Pack, and other coordinating Stampin’ Up!® product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. Today I’m sharing an adorable gift box that I created with products from the Bee Mine Suite (the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, the Bee Builder Punch, the Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon, the Square Pillow Boxes, and the Hearts & Flowers embellishments), a Wobble, and the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder.
Because the suite products are not available for everyone yet, you will not be able to view them in the online store. But I have included the names and order numbers in my Product List at the end of my post so that you can find them come January 4th.
Isn’t this bee adorable!? And he wobbles so it looks like he’s a happy, dancing bee!
Before assembling the pillow box, run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder. (FYI…the opening will be on top.)
After assembling, tie on a length of Sweet Sorbet Bordered Ribbon around the middle securing the bow off to the right. Remember…the box opens from the top so the ribbon won’t have to be removed.
Stamp the black stripes & stinger image first onto a scrap of Basic White Thick Cardstock with Tuxedo Black ink. Then stamp the bee body with Daffodil Delight ink and stamp the smiling face with black. (I thought it was easiest to connect the two images by stamping the dark one first.) Stamp the wings two times in Daffodil Delight ink and the antennae once in Tuxedo Black ink on other scrap pieces. Then punch them all out and glue them together to form the bee.
Adhere a Wobble to the box tucked in just above and behind the ribbon (you can see this in the above photo). Then add the bee to the other sticky end of the Wobble. Be sure to move the bee to make sure the Wobble works (and because it’s fun). And finish off with the yellow and red heart embellishments.
It’s a good size box… 4″ x 4″ x 1-3/4″ (10.2 x 10.2 x 4.4 cm) when assembled. Plus the boxes are food safe and stampable.
As I mentioned on Friday’s post…Stampin’ Up! demonstrators get to order early. So the products in this suite aren’t available for everyone quite yet. But I hope you enjoy getting peeks at what will debut on January 4th. This suite will be quite popular I’m sure. It’s perfect for creating Valentines. And so I predict many ordering these items right away.

A big high five to my husband Tim. He helped me to unpack the boxes of new Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalogs & 2024 Sale-a-Bration Brochures, label them, stuff them into envelopes, seal them, address them, and send them off in mail in just two days time! If you requested a catalog from me, it’s on its way. New products are debuting in those pages along with new creative inspiration for all of us paper crafters. So fun!

Today I’m sharing a set of six simple cards that show off the paper, the ribbon, the embellishments, and the stamp set sentiment images. Here are the six individual cards. Each one uses a different 4″ x 4″ piece of designer paper from the pack cut into two pieces (with one flipped over).
So the paper patterns you see on each card show the front and back of each sheet. I didn’t mix up the papers.
There are seven sentiment stamps in the stamp set. The only one I didn’t use on the front of these six cards is the “Happy Valentine’s Day” image. It could certainly be stamped on the inside of each of these cards though.
Did you also notice that I used almost every variation of embellishment? I think I only left out the pink flowers.
But if you were making sets of these cards to give as gifts and making the most of all your products, you could certainly change up which embellishments you were putting on each card so you wouldn’t have a ton of one left over.
In a couple days I plan to share an adorable gift box I made using more products from this suite (including the pillow boxes and the punch).

#4 – Stampers With ART Delicate Forest Class-To-Go = $24.00**
**Once I receive your registration request form, I will send you an invoice as soon as I can. (Please allow up to 24 hours to see your invoice come through.) Then pay the invoice within 48 hours of registering to secure your spot. Your spot is not secured until your payment is made. Your spot may be offered to another if payment isn’t received within 48 hours of your registration. Registration Request forms will close on December 27that 6 PM Central Time or when class is filled.ALL payments are due by December 27th at midnight at the latest. On January 4th I will order all supplies needed for paid participants.
Once I receive the products, I will cut, prepare, and package everything. I’m planning to send out all class packets by January 18th with an estimated arrival in mailboxes around the 22nd or 23rd. And because there is no scheduled Live or Zoom, the Class-To-Go kit will be available to complete at a time that works for you. Stampin’ Up!’s Virtual OnStage@Home took place yesterday. Demonstrators from all over the world took part, and the event was amazing! We were all able to access new publications that will debut in January and see many of these products in action through demonstrations and creative samples.
I participated at home in my craft room and played around with the new Bee Mine suite while viewing the event.
We were able to pre-order these products as a perk for participating in the event. I can’t wait to show you all the projects I created, and hope to do that soon.
The photos below show some other goodies that were sent our way if we we’re one of the first several thousand to pay for registration. If you get a chance to check out social media sites like Facebook and Instagram, search using this hashtag: #OnStageAtHome2023. You’ll get a kick out of seeing the photos people shared, especially the ones where they have the photo props decorating their face. Demonstrators know how to have fun!
Here is a glimpse of some screenshots I took of new product samples during the event. These new products will be available starting January 4, and include Sale-A-Bration freebies — items available to pick for free with qualifying orders during January and February.

In addition to the fun of seeing new products, we also celebrated Stampin’ Up!’s 35th anniversary! They shared images of past catalogs, which really showed how products have changed and how events have evolved over the years. They discussed challenges we have faced and overcome, and talked about the global growth of the company.
I have enjoyed being part of this company for nearly 24 of those 35 years. It’s my passion to share the art of paper crafting, and I’m very grateful that once again I have, through the support of so many, ranked among the top-achieving demonstrators. On November 1st Stampin’ Up! announced these top achievers, and I’m just now coming off of Cloud Nine to share my rankings with you. (These are based on my performance during the 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! year.)

The next OnStage event will be held in Houston, United States; Rotterdam, Netherlands; and Melbourne, Australia in March 2024. SU is making changes and is in the process of shifting their event calendar. And in this transition the November and the March OnStage events were too close together to have them both be held in person. That was the reason this one was held virtually.
