Stampin’ Up!’s Virtual OnStage@Home took place yesterday. Demonstrators from all over the world took part, and the event was amazing! We were all able to access new publications that will debut in January and see many of these products in action through demonstrations and creative samples.
I participated at home in my craft room and played around with the new Bee Mine suite while viewing the event.
We were able to pre-order these products as a perk for participating in the event. I can’t wait to show you all the projects I created, and hope to do that soon.
The photos below show some other goodies that were sent our way if we we’re one of the first several thousand to pay for registration. You’ll get a kick out of seeing the photos people shared, especially the ones where they have the photo props decorating their face. Demonstrators know how to have fun!
Here is a glimpse of some screenshots I took of new product samples during the event. These new products will be available starting January 4, and include Sale-A-Bration freebies — items available to pick for free with qualifying orders during January and February.

In addition to the fun of seeing new products, we also celebrated Stampin’ Up!’s 35th anniversary! They shared images of past catalogs, which really showed how products have changed and how events have evolved over the years. They discussed challenges we have faced and overcome, and talked about the global growth of the company.
I have enjoyed being part of this company for nearly 24 of those 35 years. It’s my passion to share the art of paper crafting, and I’m very grateful that once again I have, through the support of so many, ranked among the top-achieving demonstrators. On November 1st Stampin’ Up! announced these top achievers, and I’m just now coming off of Cloud Nine to share my rankings with you. (These are based on my performance during the 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! year.)

The next OnStage event will be held in Houston, United States; Rotterdam, Netherlands; and Melbourne, Australia in March 2024. SU is making changes and is in the process of shifting their event calendar. And in this transition the November and the March OnStage events were too close together to have them both be held in person. That was the reason this one was held virtually.

I just LOVE the Textured Floral Stamps & Dies! In fact, I’ve teamed up with Canadian Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Alanna Wharf (Sleepless Stamper) and created a class-to-go with this bundle of products. So today I thought I’d share how to make a card using many of the same products that we’ll be using in that class.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating that card with the Textured Floral Stamp Set & Dies, Hello Irresistible Designer Paper, new glimmer paper debuting November 7th, Blending Brushes, and other coordinating Stampin’ Up!® product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. For this one I used Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo, Pretty Peacock, and (on the inside…) Lost Lagoon Cardstock. I stamped the flowers in VersaMark ink onto Pretty Peacock Cardstock, added white embossing powder, and heat embossed. Iridescent White Ribbon takes the place of the glimmer paper. And it also provides the threads that are looped behind the flowers. The sentiment is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.

Textured Florals is a fantastic stamp set & die bundle that was released in early May. You can find it on page 65 of the 2023-24 Annual Catalog. The Distinktive* stamp set has beautiful floral imagery. And when paired with the coordinating dies, one can build stunning flower arrangements, clusters, bouquets, garlands and sprays to make eye-catching paper crafting cards and projects.

I’ve partnered with fellow demonstrator, Alanna Wharf so that we can offer our product-based class-to-go to even more crafters. She is a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator from Canada and can service those in that country for the product-based class offerings. #4 – Stampers With ART Textured Floral Class-To-Go = $24.00**
**Once I receive your registration request form, I will send you an invoice as soon as I can. (Please allow up to 24 hours to see your invoice come through.) Then pay the invoice within 48 hours of registering to secure your spot. Your spot is not secured until your payment is made. Your spot may be offered to another if payment isn’t received within 48 hours of your registration. Registration Request forms will close on October 28th or when class is filled.Payments are due by October 29th at the latest. On October 30th I will order all supplies needed for paid participants.
Once I receive the products, I will cut, prepare, and package everything. I’m am planning to send out all class packets by November 13th with an estimated arrival in mailboxes around the 16th or 17th. Video and PDF instruction will be emailed out (use your preferred email address when you register) to registrants the day I mail the packets – November 13th. And because there is no scheduled Live or Zoom, the class-to-go kit will be available to complete at a time that works for you. Just open the PDF and/or click on the video links to follow the directions for each project as you create.

I used the Them Bones Suite of products to make this adorable Square Column Fold Halloween Card that I’m sharing with you today.
On 9/20/23 I demonstrated how to make a Square Column Fold Card using the Layering Leaves Stamp Set. And on 9/26/23 I shared another I had made with the Translucent Florals Stamps and Dies. Check those out for more inspiration.
I have to say I was pretty excited after creating this card yesterday with mainly my left hand. For those of you that didn’t know, I had surgery to repair a rupture on the sagittal band of my right middle finger on 9/21/23. My right hand is my dominant hand. So I have to say it’s been a little bit of a challenge dong pretty much everything. But I am so grateful to all of those who have been helping me make it through these past couple of weeks (a special thanks to my surgeon, the nurses, the medical team, my sister Renee, my mom and dad, Theresa, Gretchen, Rose, Jaylene, my boys, and my husband Tim)!
I get the stitches out today and go into a brace that allows a bit more movement. So hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to use my right hand a little bit during my Online Paper Crafting Class.
Be sure to watch the instructional video in my September 20th blog post first to get an idea of how this type of card comes together. And then read through the measurements supplies and tips below so that you can recreate this version of the fun fold card.

Scraps for die-cutting the 3 skeletal figures
Basic Black Cardstock
5-1/2” x 10-1/8” scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4”, 5-3/4”, 7-1/4”, and 8-3/4”
Scrap for die-cutting the small circle (approx. 1″ diameter)
Basic Gray Cardstock
1″ x 2-5/8″
Scrap for die-cutting the tombstone
Glow In The Dark Specialty Paper
Scrap for punching the 1-3/4″ circle
Here is a photo of the finished card from above to show the “wobble” behind the skeleton guy…
…and close up in the dim light to show off the glow of the moon.
This card is pretty simple to put together if you’ve seen the video for the first card. I punched the Basic Gray banner before stamping it. And then I made sure to add it to the card base with Dimensionals so it lines up with the moon when closed. The designer paper strips, the tombstone, the cat & dog, and the moon are all added flat to the card base with Seal Adhesive or Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The skeleton guy is mounted onto a small 1” diameter circle of black cardstock that I cut using the Reach For The Stars Dies. This way I had enough surface area behind the skeleton for mounting the wobble. Be sure to add your skeleton with the wobble on the back so that he’s positioned straight up and down when released. You may have to do a little adjusting before you press it in place permanently. I love how the skeleton dances when the card is pulled from the envelope!
Oh!…and remember to add the embellishments.
The card folds flat in this direction to fit into its envelope.
And it opens up flat in this direction for ease at writing and signing on the tombstone.
