These bright and festive projects (two cards, a box, and a scrapbook page) that I made with the Round We Go Bundle are great examples of a triadic color combination and show off two more hidden card templates.

Welcome to our monthly APPT blog hop to showcase our July 2024Painted PetalsPaper Pumpkin kit alternate projects! See what I have to share. Then check out all the other blogs in the hop for additional creative ideas that my fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator friends shared.*
For those of you not familiar with these kits, they get delivered straight to your mailbox in the months of your choice. Inside are all the supplies you need AND the directions for assembling the kit cards/projects designed. Here are the intended cards designed for this July 2024 kit. Today my projects include a variation on one of those boxes, two different types of fun-fold cards, and a scrapbook page layout. Lots of stuff, right? So instead of writing out the details for each of these, I’ve recorded videos to share the details for them. We are busy preparing for Nick’s graduation party that will be held here on June 9th. He’s super excited and ready to move onto college to focus on Exercise Science, but will be enjoying a well-deserved summer off first. His last day of school is Friday, and the graduation ceremony is Monday evening.
In addition to party prepping, I’m creating many personalized graduation cards for the other kids we know that are also graduating this year. This fun fold card I’m sharing today is pretty popular. In fact, I found several versions of it out there on the internet. So I tweaked it a bit to make it large enough to hold a gift card upright AND large enough to fill our standard Basic White envelopes.

I wasn’t able to make the invites back in March for my son’s graduation party that will be taking place on June 9th. We needed something quick at that time, so we used Shutterfly. But I AM making time to stamp and put together thank you cards for Nick to write in and send. And several cards of congrats are already arriving in the mail. So I’m trying to make the thank you’s now rather than wait until after the party.
I had a bunch of stamped and punched leaves, because I’ve created MANY cards with the Layering Leaves stamp set during this past year (which doesn’t surprise many of you who know me and how this set came to be). So I combined them with a bit of woodgrain paper from the Country Woods pack (because it coordinates so well with the Shutterfly party invitations) and came up with this design.
Since I have a lot of already stamped and punched leaves, these first several cards were quick and easy to make. Below are the details.

Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2″
2″ diameter circle
Basic White Cardstock
(2) 4” x 5-1/4″
1-3/4″ diameter circle
Country Woods Designer Paper
2″ x 4″
Gold Metallic Trim
(3) 1″
AND…cardstock and inks of your choice for stamping and punching leaves.
Directions…
Emboss one of the Basic White 4″ x 5-1/4″ layers with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder.
Adhere the designer paper layer to bottom of it, and then add this all to the front of the folded card base.
Stamp the other Basic White 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer with the inside sentiment using Early Espresso ink and add to the inside of the card.
Stamp the front sentiment using Early Espresso ink onto the 1-3/4″ diameter Basic White circle. Adherer this off center to the 2″ diameter Early Espresso circle.
Stamp and punch leaves in the way you wish. Trim one of them into 3 separate parts (the top 4 leaves together and the two other leaves as singles). Add Seal Adhesive under the sentiment circle, then attach the trim and leaves coming out from the sides as shown. Add more seal adhesive and add this layered piece in place on the front of the card.

These are perfect sentiments for graduation cards, right?! You can find them in the Wonderful Thoughts Stamp Set.
For today’s post, I have some very easy-to-make and stunning cards to share. I have two versions to share, but I could’ve easily used any of these great patterns in the Full of Live Designer Paper pack and made even more. These papers are bright and cheerful and definitely mirror the joy of such an milestone event.

Here are the details on the first card – the blue/purple card.
Measurements for the blue/purple card…
Basic White Cardstock
5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4”
Full of Life Designer Paper
4” x 5-1/4”
Basic Black Cardstock
3/4” x 4-5/8”
Directions for the blue/purple card…
Adhere the designer paper layer to the front of the folded white card base.
Stamp the inside (not shown) “Congratulations” image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
Stamp the front sentiment with VersaMark ink off to the right on the Basic Black strip. Add white embossing powder, tap off excess, and heat with the Heat Tool until the embossing powder melts and becomes a bright white and glossy. Do not overheat, or the white will start to dull.
Add the sentiment strip to the front of the card with Dimensionals.
Embellish with Iridescent Faceted Gems. (On this card I added 3 large and 2 small.)
And here are details on the second one with the squares.

We’ve been invited to quite a few grad parties this year since we have a graduating senior ourselves. (Nick’s graduation is June 3rd and his party is June 9th.) AND our other son Luke who is a junior has a few friends who are seniors, too. I think I’ll be making more of these cards this weekend. I really love how cheerful they are and how quickly they came together.

I was inspired by a square wreath scrapbook page layout I saw by Kelly Baxter-Fitzgerald and decided to give that same design a try with the leaves (from the paper, stamps and dies) and other elements in this suite. As the elements of this page started to come together, I realized the versatility of the design…I could divide it up to create a 2-page layout using the same elements. Then after falling in love with the focal point of the page, I created a greeting based on that section. Normally I’m inspired by a card to create a page. But in this design process I went the other direction. And then I kept going. It was a day where I couldn’t stop.
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube and on Facebook step-by-step directions for creating these pretty projects with theNature’s Sweetness Suite and other coordinating Stampin’ Up! products. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post.
