As promised during my YouTube Live on Wednesday, today I have for you photos, measurements, and product lists for those two Sand & Sea cards I shared: my faker shaker and my angled corner layer card. If you didn’t catch the YouTube Live broadcast, click here to watch the recording. In it I first show how to make the butterfly shaker card that I posted on my blog on Wednesday. But I also explain the steps of these two cards shown in the photos below. (If you are already on my blog post, you can just click on the image below to view the video.)
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for the two Sand & Sea cards I explained. (Please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can get updates when I share and go live).

This month I’m going to share with you more in detail a few of the projects we made during our December 2020 Silver Elite Retreat. I gave you a glimpse at some projects in my December 14th post.
Today’s project is the Split Circle Sand & Sea card.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements …
Early Espresso Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2”
Shimmery White Cardstock
4” x 4-1/4″
1/4″ x 4-1/4″
Sand & Sea Designer Paper
Sand colored pattern: Scrap for stamping and fussy-cutting sand dollar
Blue section: Scrap for punching 2-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ diameter circles (only need half of each for one card)
Pink section: Scrap for punching 2-1/4″ and 1-1/2″ diameter circles (only need half of each for one card)
Yellow section: Scrap for punching 2″ diameter circle (need two halves)
Directions …
Stamp and fussy-cut sand dollar.
Stamp sentiments on inside white layer and outside white strip. The sentiment on the white strip should start about 1/4″ from the left edge.
Emboss front of card base.
Adhere inside white layer to the inside while also creatively adding Seaside Shell stickers.
Layer half circle pieces on top of each other so that the flat edge positioned upward and the left upper corner all meet up. Flip one layered circle upside-down (you’ll now see the flow of color!). Adhere to the front of the card so that they look centered and so the flat edges are parallel with the top and bottom of the card.
Add the sentiment strip through the middle using Glue Dots on the ends and here and there in the middle while also tucking in and creatively adding Seaside Shell stickers.
Add the sand dollar with a Dimensional so it lifts and creates shadow.
Then embellish with the Opal Rounds
Split Circle cards are so visually pleasing. Click here and here to see a few more I made and shared recently. Have fun trying your hand at them. And thanks for visiting!

Last night my Stampers With ART group gathering virtually for one of our special Team Gatherings. This time I sent each of them a special make-n-take packet of supplies – pieces from the Boho Indigo Product Medley and coordinating cardstock cut with the Curvy Dies. Those of us that attended were able to preorder select products, so of course I DID! Did you see my unboxing video? That special OnStage preorder period ended, but now all demonstrators will be able to preorder from ALL the products in those publications starting December 1st. So guess what!? I’ll need to do another unboxing video in early December. Stay tuned!
Are you interested in getting the 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog and Jan-Feb Sale-a-Bration Brochure mailed to you? Click here for more information and to access the catalog request form. Otherwise links to the online versions will post on January 5th, the same day the products go live in my online store.
If you watched my unboxing video, then you saw that beautiful Golden Garden Designer Acetate from the Fine Art Floral Suite that coordinates with the Fine Art Floral Designer Paper. I shared how one of the sheets of acetate lines up with one of the sheets of designer paper. WELL…there is one more pair! So I took those two pairs and cut 4″ x 5-1/4″ pieces from them as shown (while they were stacked in their acetate/designer paper pairs).
And I came up with these super easy but stunning cards.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of current products linked to where you can find them in my online store. Remember many of these items are not available until January 5th.
Measurements per card…
Whisper White Thick Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2″
1″ x 4″
Golden Garden Designer Acetate
4″ x 5-1/4″
Fine Art Floral Designer Paper
4″ x 5-1/4″
1/2″ x 4″
Gold Foil Sheet
1/2″ x 4″
Fine Art 3/8″ Ribbon
10″
Directions…
Cut the layered and lined up acetate/designer paper
Stamp sentiment from the Art Gallery Stamp Set from that suite using Mossy Meadow ink onto 1″ x 4″ strip of Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Then adhere to 1/2″ x 4″ strip of Gold Foil and attach that to the top of the acetate. Peel off the protective layer on the back of the acetate. (I made 12 of these cards and forgot to do that!)
Then attach the acetate to the designer paper by placing the adhesive behind the sentiment strip.
Tie the 10″ of Fine Art Ribbon around a Clear Block C as shown, slide off the block, and cut the large loop to get a 2″ long end on the right and a 3″ long end on the left.
Then wrap and adhere the those ends from the front (under the sentiment) to the back. Add a Glue Dot under the center of the knot to secure the ribbon.
Then attach this all to the front of the card base.
Stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card and add the 1/2″ by 4″ strip of coordinating designer paper.
As I mentioned, I made 12 of these birthday cards. And I made them quickly. I hope my “November birthday” Stampers With ART Stars can forgive me about forgetting to take the protective film off the acetate.

I was on Facebook browsing the other day and a post came up in my newsfeed – a fun fold card shared by fellow Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Teresa Brown. She shared her card in an exclusive demonstrator-only Facebook group. But I didn’t see any directions from her in the comments or post itself. So I studied the card and figured it out. And I’m calling it a bookshelf card because it holds a bookmark AND because it looks like it has a build-in bookshelf. Hahaha! 11/29/22 update…Teresa reached out to me. How fun! Here is the link to her FB Live that she posted on 10/24/20. Thanks Teresa!

The cards I’m sharing today I actually made this summer for some July birthdays after falling in love and purchasing the Many Layered Blossoms dies and coordinating stamp set, Blossoms in Bloom from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog that had just debuted. Sorry that I forgot to share them earlier. Thankfully flower cards can be enjoyed year-round.
They are fairly quick and easy cards to make, because you can literally decorate three cards with one assembled set of die-cuts.
Here are the details if you want to recreate a set of these cards yourself.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Measurements needed for three cards…
Whisper White Cardstock:
three pieces at 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored parallel to the short end at 5-1/2”
three pieces at 4” x 5-1/4”
three 2” Circles
Blushing Bride Cardstock:
three pieces at 1-1/2″ x 4”
three 2” Circles
Rococo Rose Cardstock:
5” x 5-1/2” piece for die-cutting large blossoms
Cherry Cobbler Cardstock:
5” x 5-1/2” piece for die-cutting large blossoms
Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon:
three pieces at 5-1/2”
Directions for one card…
Die-cut the large blossoms: thicker one with Rococo Rose Cardstock, thinner one with Cherry Cobbler Cardstock. Layer these together with sponged-on Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Cut straight across to separate the two bottom flowers. Then cut the larger cluster of five flowers in half perpendicular to the first cut.
Emboss the Blushing Bride piece and adhere to the bottom of the 4” x 5-1/4” Whisper White piece. Add the flower cluster with sponged-on Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Color the ribbon with Cherry Cobbler and Rococo Rose Blends Markers. Allow to dry. Then attach to the front of this layer wrapping and adhering the ends to the back.
Stamp the outside sentiment on the lower portion of the 2” Whisper White circle. Cut off the top portion and add to the card layer tucking the top edge under the ribbon a bit. Add this whole layer to the front of the card using Dimensionals.
Stamp the inside sentiment on the 2” Blushing Bride circle. Then attach on the inside of the card.
I made three more with some of our beautiful purples.
And here is what the insides looked like.
