Before Sale-a-Bration ends on Thursday, I wanted to share some fun cards I made with the Trusty Toolbox Designer Paper. This paper pack is one of the Sale-a-Bration free picks with a $50 order. And it coordinates so nicely with the Trusty Tools Stamp Set and Trusty Tools Dies (which can be purchased in a bundle to save 10%). The stamps and dies aren’t going away yet…just the designer paper.
This first card I made with cut-out images from the paper, a couple images from the stamp set, a couple ink colors, and the letter S die-cut with the Mini Alphabet Dies from a scrap of black cardstock.
I used a Blending Brush to add Crushed Curry Ink to the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White Cardstock layer. Then I positioned the saws how I thought they looked best but didn’t stick them down yet. I stamped the “nuts and screw” image and the sentiment (leaving room for the S) with Tuxedo Black ink. Next I added the saws starting with the back one first. That one I added flat with Seal Adhesive. Then I added the circular saw blade with Dimensionals. And then I added the top saw with Dimensionals. Finally I glued on the letter S and added this whole layer to the folded Basic White card base (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ folded in half at 4-1/4″).
FYI…The Basic White Cardstock bases and layers are the same size in all three cards.
Of course there are images in this designer paper that pair up with the dies in the bundle. So for my other two cards I moved away from fussy cutting and die-cut tape measures, pencils, and a paintbrush.
This second card is full of sparkle! And you have to be willing to give up quite a few embellishments to make it. I think I added 27 rhinestones, gems and pearls to this thank you card. Feel free to count them and correct me if I’m wrong though.
On this one I added a strip of 1″ x 5-1/4″ Pool Party Cardstock that I had punched with the Banners Pick-a-Punch and stamped with Tuxedo Black ink. Then I attached the paintbrush using Seal Adhesive at the brush end and a Mini Dimensional at the handle end. Lastly I used the Take Your Pick Tool and added the Pretty Peacock Blooming Pearls, the Balmy Blue Iridescent Pastel Gems, and the Rhinstones (which I had colored beforehand with the Lost Lagoon Dark Blends Marker).
My last card was inspired by a design I saw from my demonstrator friend, Lorri Heiling. (Thanks Lorri!) She took the tool images and formed the word “dAd.” I just had to try it. And this is my result. Isn’t it fun!?
I hope my dad doesn’t see this post, because I think this is the card I need to give him this June for Father’s Day.
I used a Blending Brush on the white layer like I had on my first card, but this time I used Pool Party ink. I made sure that my blue flowed from the top left to the bottom right so the soft color would bring focus to the sentiment in the upper left and the “dAd” in the lower right.
The pencils and tape measures I cut from the designer paper which is leaving us in just a few days – end of February. But if you miss out, you could stamp, color, and die-cut these same images using the stamps, dies, and Blends Markers.
In fact you could even make these tools match your dad’s favorite color or the actual colors of his tools. (I’ve listed all the Blends Markers I used below in my Product List.)
After die-cutting the pencils and tape measures, I die-cut the nuts and screw from a scrap of Holographic Foil Paper. Then I die-cut a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pecan Pie Cardstock twice to get the peg board. And I cut the red pencil into two pieces so I could hide the cut behind the first tape measure to make it appear longer.
I punched then stamped a 1/2″ by 3-1/4″ strip of Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink for the sentiment and started assembling.
First I adde the peg board with Mini Dimensionals. Then I glued on the sentiment and nuts and screw. Finally I glued on the tools to form the word “dAd.”
By the way if you want, you can put together even more tools by just using the dies. It’s a fun collection of coordinating products. And I don’t want you to miss out on that paper if you think you might use it.

This is a fun one! Did you get in on the February 2024 Sweet Springtime Paper Pumpkin kit? It lives up to it’s name. The imagery is fresh & cheerful, and the animals look so sweet. I couldn’t stop creating with it and have already put together eight different projects to share…one is exclusive for my personal paper pumpkin subscribers, four I am sharing today, and the others (plus whatever else I create) will have to wait until March 8th.
This kit contained the supplies shown below to make nine projects (3 of 3): three standard size cards, three slimline cards, and three milk carton treat containers.
But I never assemble my kits as is, because I like to share other ways to use those supplies. I like to think outside the box…see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I’m sharing with you…

Last week I shared part 1 of a 2-part video class series. And now I’d like to present to you Part 2. We are are now taking those parts and pieces from last week and build two amazing Hexagon Platform Pop-Up cards…one with Cutest Cows Bundle and one with the Submarine Life Bundle… new bundles that debuted in the Jan-April 2024 Mini Catalog.

So true, right? Many of us feel that way. We go into a “happy place” when we are creating.
Today I’m featuring the Crafting With You Stamp Set. This is a great stamp set to own so you can make and give cards & gifts to your fellow paper crafting friends. Plus as you can see from the cards I shared in my May 3, 2023 post, this set also can be purchased with coordinating dies.
Recently I made and gifted a few of these sweet 3×3 note cards that I stamped with images from this fabulous set. It’s a very basic card…stamps, ink, paper and embellishments. But sometimes simple is all you need.
Here are the details.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements…
Basic White Cardstock
3” x 6″ scored parallel to short side at 3”
2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″
Directions…
Using Smoky Slate ink, stamp the “Life is better…” sentiment near the top of the 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ Basic White card layer and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine image below that to the left a bit. While the gray ink is out, stamp the “Sending you…” sentiment on the front of the envelope.
Stamp the heart image with Sweet Sorbet ink once and then again without re-inking (to get a lighter shade) just below the g. While the Sweet Sorbet ink is out, stamp the inside sentiment of the card base piece and the flap area of the envelope with three hearts (also without re-inking to get the three shades).
Then add a few small rhinestones on the 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″ card layer…one connecting the g and the first heart, one in between the two hearts, and one below the second.
With a Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Write Marker, draw two tiny hearts to accent the dots on the i’s in Life and in crafting.
Add a tiny rectangle of silver foil paper on the machine image. Then attach this whole layer to the front of the folded card base using Dimensionals.
The cards I had made I also gifted (and fit perfectly) with the new 5″ Magnetic Hex Trays from The Country Hive. Maybe you saw me share the trays on Wednesday during this week’s Online Paper Crafting Class? It was a sweet and simple gift to pull together. And what crafting friend wouldn’t love it?

I have an adorable treat/gift box to share with you today. Paired with the Little Debbie Unicorn Cakes, this box is a fun Valentine idea if you are looking for something to still share with your special loved ones. Don’t worry about owning all the products (although you could certainly expedite an order). You can apply the directions to cardstock, designer paper, and accents you already own.
Where did this inspiration come from? On January 30th, Nancy Forsberg & Kayla Cory from StampingBAE demonstrated how to make a cute box during our Stampers With ART team party. We all prepared our supplies ahead of time based on the list Nancy & Kayla shared. Then during the event these two showed us all step-by-step how to put their intended version of the project together. Good news!! Soon after they also shared publicly! Visit their February 1st blog post for photos, measurements, and their instructional video.
This is the one I created after their team party demonstration. And yep…I went out and bought those Little Debbie Unicorn Cakes, too! I used the supplies listed below. (These products I used are linked to where you can find them in my online store.)
Measurements…
Berry Burst Cardstock
5-1/2” x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 1-1/4″, 6-1/2″, and 7-3/4″ and then scored parallel to the long side at 1-1/4″, 2-1/2″, 3-3/4″, and 5″ (then cut and assembled according to the directions shared in Nancy & Kayla’s video)
Delightful Floral Designer Paper
(4) 1” x 5”
(2) 1″ x 1″
Basic White Cardstock
3/8” x 2-1/8”
Scraps for stamping and die-cutting leaves and flowers
Watch Nancy & Kayla’s video for the instruction for the box. Then keep reading for the specific details for the one I made and shared here.
For my floral accents, I inked and stamped the two flowers onto the Basic White scrap paper (one with Calypso Coral ink, the other with Berry Burst ink). I inked the leaves with a combination of two inks. First I inked the stamps with Parakeet Party ink. Then I used a Dauber and added Pretty Peacock ink at the base of the leaf images. Then I exhaled on the inked stamps to remoisten the ink, and stamped the images onto more Basic White scrap paper.
After die-cutting the images, I curled these pieces a bit with the Bone Folder tool and attached them at the base of the box using Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and Dimensionals.
After stamping the sentiment with Berry Burst ink onto the Basic White strip, I trimmed the ends and added it to the box using Dimensionals.
Then I embellished with Iridescent Rhinestones.
Don’t forget to add the treat before gifting the box. Sweet idea. Right!?
I love my Precision Tip Glue Bottles! I’ve really found it much easier to add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to those intricate, detailed, and tiny pieces in my paper crafting projects now that I have some of that glue in these bottles.

But occasionally I get the question…”How do you add the glue without it getting all over?” So I made this short tips video that I hope you will find useful.
