On August 13th I shared how to create 36 greeting cards with the contents of the Celebrate Together Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. Click here for that post, the measurements, and more. You can watch my instructional video by clicking here* (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it).
After creating all those cards, I put together a scrapbook page layout (as promised) with the remaining pieces from that kit, two sheets of 12×12 White Willow Cardstock, and the use of my 2-3/8″ Circle Punch to make the sun. ☀️ Ta-da!
I embellished with some Rhinestones (the same embellishments I used for the 36 cards) and also used a bit more White Willow Cardstock for the 4-1/4″ x 6-1/4″ and 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ photo mats. The Basic Black layers represent where my photos will go.
Other Significant measurements…
Light Fresh Freesia Floral Paper
8-1/4″ x 12″
3/4″ x 10-1/2″ (although you only see 3/8″ x 10-1/2″ since a portion is underneath the other strip)
1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″
Blackberry Bliss Floral Paper
8-1/4″ x 12″
Colorful Floral Paper
3/4″ x 12″
3/4″ x 10-1/2″
1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″
Yellow Striped Paper
3/4″ x 10-1/2″ (although you only see 3/8″ x 10-1/2″ since a portion is underneath the other strip)
1-1/2″ x 2-1/4″
2-3/8″ Circle
1/4″ strips
Fresh Freesia Two-Tone Cardstock
1″ x 12″ (although you only see 1/4″ x 12″ since a portion is underneath the Fresh Freesia Floral Paper)
The Blackberry Bliss sticker strips with the scalloped edges are the pieces I used above and below the Fresh Freesia Floral Paper.
So you can get 36 cards from that kit AND a scrapbook page layout!!
During my instructional video on August 13th, I used a second Celebrate Together kit to demonstrate how to make those 36 cards. I didn’t make each and every card during that Live video of course, but I made a few of them. And I partially assembled a few others.
So… after the video was over I had a good amount of that second kit to still work with. And I really wanted to make some of the suggested page designs. So I followed the cutting and assembly instructions for two of the three layouts.
Well…I SORT OF followed the cutting and assembly instructions for two of those layouts. If you look closely you can see that my layouts are slightly different. But that’s what I really love about these scrapbooking kits. The papers AREN’T pre-cut and scored. So you CAN change them up to make them accommodate your photo amounts and sizes, your specific event that you are documenting, your style, etc.
For this layout, I really liked the suggested main portions of the left page, and kept things very similar. But I replaced the three white journaling strips with a third photo. Then for the right page, I felt like there should be another angled photo and a bit more open space. So I eliminated the 4th photo, changed out the journaling piece, and added my strips a bit differently.
My strips on the right page measure 1-1/4″ x 5-3/4″ (upper floral), 1-1/2″ x 10-3/8″ (lower floral), and 2″ x 11″ (blue striped). All the other measurements I believe are the same as those from the kit directions.
For this layout, I also really liked the main portions of the right page but I flipped it and made it become my left page. I added a taller beverage in the upper left taking away the shorter one in the lower right that would’ve covered up a good portion of one of my photos. My right page (which was the left page in the instructions) holds one more photo, the layout is reversed with the beverages on the right side, it has less beverage images, and it has a bit less greenery (plus an underlying 2-1/8″ x 3-1/4″ blackish rectangle – leftover from the cards I demonstrated) in the journaling area.
This finished layout just has a bit more balanced feel to me with these changes I made.
Here are the cards that I made with the rest of the kit. These include cards I fully or partially assembled during the Live video class…
…and others that I put together afterwards with the remainder of my cut and scored card bases, cut layers, and more.
So I hope I was able to give you even more inspiration with the contents of this kit.

Wow! I received my August 2025 Farmhouse Florals Paper Pumpkin kit in record time! Normally I’m one of the later ones and typically get it around the 19th or 20th of the month. But I received it Saturday and have been happily creating with it during the past several days. So today I’m super excited to share with you my first set of alternate project ideas.
This August 2025 Farmhouse Florals kit has enough supplies to make 9 cards (3 of 3 kinds). Did you get the kit and want to make them as intended? Click here for a link to Stampin’ Up!’s how-to video.
I love to show kit subscribers other ways to use their supplies. I like to think outside the box, see what else I can come up with, and create alternate cards, scrapbook pages, and more. So today I have several different card ideas for you (including 9 cards that I made from the supplies of 3!) and lots of tips and tricks. Earlier today I demonstrated these ideas during my Live Online Paper Crafting Class on YouTube. Maybe you tuned in?

I’m catching up and now able to share the measurements and supplies for three “bonus” cards that I’ve shown during past videos. Today’s three cards are other versions of these cards that I have demonstrated recently:
The first is my Halloween version of the Pop-Up Diamond Tiara Fold Card. It features the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper, the Fright Night Dies, and the Spooky Halloween Stamp Set.
This was a super fun fold to create and I am definitely going to making more of these soon. The card flattens down to fit into an envelope. Then when allowed to “breathe” the front pops up and off the base. And from the side it looks like a mini crown (or tiara) made up of three diamonds.
Here are the measurements you’ll need for this Halloween version. Scroll down to access the supply list.
Basic Gray Cardstock
4” x 8-1/2” scored at 5-1/2”
Basic White Cardstock
2-1/2″ x 3-7/8″
Basic Black Cardstock
Scraps for punching three 1-3/4” circles – one for the top, and two (that you can punch into narrower pointed ovals (see photo) as the support pieces
1-1/2” x 4”
(2) 3/8” x 4”
Scraps for die-cutting webs
Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
(2) 3/8” x 4”
Scraps for die-cutting three Boo!’s (layer these altogether to make a thick one)
Spooky Sweet Designer Paper
4” x 8” scored parallel to the short side at 1/4”, 1”, 1-3/4”, 2-1/2”, 3-1/4”, 4”, 4-3/4”, 5-1/2”, 6-1/4”, 7”, 7-3/4”
3/4” x 4”
2-1/4” x 4”
Scraps for die-cutting a couple spiders (from the dark blackish gray pattern)
The other two cards I created before coming up with my Beautiful Blues card. In fact the Beautiful Gallery papers shown on these cards inspired me to come up with this unique fun fold!
Like the tiara card above, these cards also flatten down to fit into envelopes. Then the front “barriers” pop out to help hold the cards up.
I gave a few bits of into for THESE cards at the end of my video from July 19th… Beautiful Blues Museum Gallery Fun Fold Card. But you’ll want to watch most of the video to get the basic directions and tips for making this type of fun fold card.
Here are the measurements you’ll need for this “boats on the water” version with imperial measurements.
White Willow Cardstock
5-1/2” x 10-1/2” scored at 3-1/2” and 7”

On Sunday, August 3rd I attended and participated in Creative Connections, a once-a-year event organized and put on by our Stamp Share for Leaders group. Lead Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in our area put this on as a business and creative event for our team members. It’s well attended and many participate virtually and in person in Medina MN.
I was blessed to be a presenter again this year. And my topic was creating cards with one of our scrapbooking workshop kits. So after taking a peek at all of our many offerings in this line, I decided on the Celebrate Together kit.
It was a great one to work with as most all the ephemera and sticker pieces transferred over well to cards.
I made a TON of cards…36 in fact! And I’m excited to share how I made them with you today.
Be sure to watch my instructional video by clicking here* (or you can just click on this image below if you are already here in my blog post and can view it), check out the measurements & products list below, download the PDF resource to remember these cards by, and then let me know if you have any questions.

I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video.

I also thought I’d share that my family had a lovely time up north at my parents’ place this past weekend. We go every year in August so my mom and I can celebrate our birthdays together.
And as many of you know, my son Nick and I are still recovering from our foot surgeries. We couldn’t walk down to the lake, but my dad took us to the boat launch where my husband and other son Luke picked us up in the boat and took us over to the dock. Then my parents joined us and we all enjoyed the lake for a couple hours. Both Nick and I soaked our feet and it felt SOOooo good!
We are hoping that the next time we are up there (end of August or early September) we can walk in our regular shoes, make it down the slightly steep walking path to the lake, and swim.

(In fact there are a few past Sale-a-Bration items available while supplies last up through September 4th.)
PRODUCT CHANGES COMING Stampin’ Write Markers are being discontinued. The cling stamp line (red rubber stamp line) is being phased out. Stampin’ Up! will soon be transitioning into sleeker, slimmer packaging for stamps and dies. More details about these changes can be found here.
I have three more projects to share with you that I created with the Sweeter With You July 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit.
My full two-page 12×12 scrapbook page layout was SOOoo fun to make. I got the idea to distress/sand the light two-tone cardstock on the left page along the left side and bottom from a card I saw on Pinterest. And then the creative juices started flowing. I distressed the edges of the light Garden Green layers to expose the white core and inked the edges of the dark layers with Garden Green ink. Both techniques made the edges “pop” so much more.
For the right page, I added my outer four 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ photo mats 5/8″ from the outer edges, added the four others in-between, and then added the decorated pink square in the middle with Dimensionals.
To decorate that square, I sponged the edges with Strawberry Slush ink. Then I added the branch of berries and trimmed up the bottom of the stem. I added the flowers with the Flower Accents embellishments in the centers. And lastly I added a bow of Linen Thread that I had colored slightly with a bit of Garden Green ink.
You may notice too in this photo that I used a Bone Folder and Dimensionals to give lift and shadow to the strawberry, leaf and flower accents. I did this in fact for both pages. And then I splattered on Poppy Parade Blends ink and Wink of Stella for speckles, sparkle, and texture.
For the left page I added the distressed 11-3/4″ x 11-3/4″ light Garden Green page layer to the 12″ x 12″ dark Garden Green. I added my upper right 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ photo mat 5/8″ from the outer edges, added the three others nearby, and then added the YUM pink letters along the left side with Dimensionals (which I also sponged with Strawberry Slush ink along the edges).
I finished off by building a larger and a smaller cluster of berries and flowers in the two bottom corners making sure I trimmed anything that extended beyond the edges of the light Garden Green.
And of course I splattered on Poppy Parade Blends ink and Wink of Stella for speckles, sparkle, and texture.
Well, below is my completed card that I was working towards, and I’m quite happy with it. It’s sweet and simple. The “fabric” underneath is from a kit envelope flap. I added extra lines of marker (Granny Apple Green and Pool Party) to the lines in the plaid pattern to jazz it up a bit.
The bottom of the plaid “fabric” and the largest strawberry are attached with Dimensionals. The top of the plaid “fabric” and the smaller strawberries are just stuck down flat.
And the card base is the green kit card folded inside out. (There is a rectangular layer of white from the rest of the envelope on the inside for a place to write.)
I made and shared the blue version of this card a couple weeks back. This peach version includes “jazzed up” plaid background paper where I once again added extra lines of markers (Peach Pie and Poppy Parade).
You can watch my 7/23/25 video for the card assembly directions and tips. I had also promised to share this peach version, but I never got the demonstrating the plaid for both the above and below cards and had to wait to share them here.
OH! I also added in some Lemon Lolly ink with a Blending Brush in the background of both white layers.
I hope you gained some creative inspiration today. Thanks for visiting! By the way, I shared my first set of alternate project ideas on June 25th. Be sure to visit that page to see my how-to video, photos, and more for 14 card ideas.
If you did not get this kit, I hope you can apply these ideas to products you already own. OR…become an active subscriber and get in on the refill kit. The refill kit doesn’t contain the ink and stamp images. But you will at least gain the main pieces and can hopefully replace most of the stamp images I used with some of your own.

Last weekend was so much fun! On Saturday I hosted my second annual Card Candy & Sweets Swap for those in my Stampers With ART team. Because my business is now online (and has been for years) and my team consists of demonstrators from all over the US, pretty much all of our team activities are virtual/online. But…I do have this one organized in-person event. And we had such a great time together.
I have photos and two videos to share.
In my first video I demonstrate the make-n-take project from this event (my card candy), I share my idea for how I would make it into a full card, I share the card candy that was swapped at the event and ideas for turning a few of those into cards and/or projects, and I share a bit more about the event itself including a few of the sweets that were also swapped.
In my second video I share cards and other items that have been gifted to me (or my sons) during the past couple months since my last “Show & Share.” If you were someone who sent me one of these lovely creations, thank you! It’s so fun to see all the creativity. And I get a lot of inspiration from all of you. AND… I show a bunch of new products: two kits that became available on August 5th and lots of items that will be available on September 3rd that currently only demonstrators can get their hands on.
I went Live on YouTube twice on Wednesday to share all of this. So by now you may have seen these videos. But if not, I’ve included them here in this blog post. There is a lot of information in them, so if you missed the Lives, be sure to watch. In fact, I recommend viewing the first one before scrolling through the photos below so you can see how the card candy pieces looked before I turned them into the full cards.
Below is a photo, a visual list of products (each linked to where you can find them in my online store), and measurements my card candy (the full card) I demonstrated in video number one. And of course below that are photos from the team event and of all the other card candy that was swapped and suggested ways they could be turned into full cards and projects.
Measurements for my project…
Basic Gray Cardstock
5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short side at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″
Basic Black Cardstock
(2) 3-3/4” x 5”
Basic White Cardstock
Scrap for stamping and punching sentiment label
Spooky Sweet Designer Paper
(3 different patterns) 1-1/2” x 3”
3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ for inside layer
Candy corn ephemera
Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon
6″
Mossy Meadow & Gold Trim
6″
Here is a photo of the finished card candy (turned into a full card) that I designed for the event’s make-n-take project.
I’m so blessed that all these amazing people were able to attend the event this year. Four even came from other states to be with us!
Last year the weather didn’t cooperate. But this year we had the best weather we could’ve asked for, so we spent a good deal of time out in the back yard.
I provided the meal. And my husband helped by grilling the chicken. We enjoyed chatting and learning more about one another.
A few brought display boards of card ideas. The make-n-takes included my card candy and a choice of a card or project from two different Kits Collection kits.
The last part of the evening was dessert time. And it was so fun to see what everyone brought. Some brought treats to eat at the event. And some brought treats to take home.
So I provided bags they could use for the take-home items. And I decorated them with tags that matched the name tags.
Oh Did you see the lovely centerpiece? I received a couple gifts that evening. And the beautiful bouquet came from Cheryl Lee.
It was so wonderful to spend this quality time with everyone! I’m already looking forward to next year.
Hopefully you watched that first video so you could learn more about and see the card candy that was swapped.
I was so excited to turn these into cards that I started working on them right after recording the video and finished them up the next morning. So ta-da!! Here are the finished cards!
And here are Rose Kerry’s card candy pieces in her assembled creations.
Those that made each card candy piece are mentioned in the watermarks of the photos. (By the way, I do NOT have a supply list or measurements for each of these. That would take me way too much time. I am sharing them to inspire your creativity and to show all the talent.) A big thank you to all of the crafters/creators!
