It’s time for another Mystery Stamping event! If you’ve never seen a mystery stamping presentation before, it’s a lot of fun. You create with the supplies in your craft room by following a series of step-by-step clues that are put before you to see if you can put together a similar card to the samples I share at the end.
So go into your crafting space, watch the video below (or click HERE if you do not see the video), and follow my “clues” to play along. Then scroll down to see samples of finished versions of this fun mystery stamping card. And thanks for tuning in!
I’m assuming if you are scrolling down that you have watched the video. Wasn’t that fun?! Did you love seeing all the new products, too?! The finished card samples that I shared in the video are shown below.
By the way…the supply list at the end of this post includes some of the main products featured in the cards. These items are linked to where you can find them in my online store. I didn’t list adhesives and tools like I usually do.
Here are the clues I shared in the video.
Materials to gather:
Trimmer w/scoring blade
Bone Folder
Paper Snips
Stamp set/s with outline images (or images that have gaps…just not completely solid images) and coordinating sentiments
Four ink pads in favorite colors (not too dark)
Blending Brushes to go with the four colors
Tuxedo Black Ink
Versamark ink, Heat Tool, and White Emboss Powder
Adhesives
Basic Black Cardstock
Basic White Cardstock
Embellishments of your choice
Clue #1:
This will be a portrait style card with the opening on the bottom. Cut and prep initial pieces…
Basic Black Cardstock
3-3/4″ x 5″ (9.3 cm x 13.6 cm)
Scrap for front sentiment
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/4″ x 11” scored at 5-1/2” (10.5 cm x 29.7 cm scored at 14.8 cm)
3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ (9 cm x 13.3 cm)
3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ (8.1 cm x 12.4 cm)
Clue #2:
Prepare front black scrap sentiment piece for card as this shape and size will be used as a guide when stamping the other images. This piece ideally shouldn’t be too large…maybe up to 2-1/2” (6 cm) wide by 1” (2.5 cm) tall. You want it to be noticeable but not the “star of the show.” Stamp sentiment, then heat emboss onto this piece of Basic Black.
Clue #3:
Choose coordinating stamp image/s. Position the 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ (8.1 cm x 12.4 cm) white layer vertically. Then randomly stamp one or more of these images with black ink. If it helps, position the sentiment strip in the upper right area as you do this so you know what it will cover up (you’ll want to avoid having anything important under there).
Clue #4:
Cut your 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ (8.1 cm x 12.4 cm) layer that you just stamped into four pieces. The pieces do not have to be equal, but I suggest making your first sample card this way. Cutting them to equal sizes would give you four 1-5/8” x 2-1/4” (about 4 cm x 6.2 cm) sections. You can get this by cutting in half straight up and down at 1-5/8” (4 cm) and then cutting each of those pieces in half at 2-1/4” (6.2 cm).
Clue #5:
You will be putting these back together on the front of the card eventually but with a slight gap in-between each piece. So, arrange your pieces so that they are a complete looking layer again. Then imagine color radiating out from the center…Using Blending Brushes and ink pads, add a different color ink on each of the four pieces so that the color is more intense at the center and fades to white at the outer edges.
Clue #6:
Adhere your four pieces onto your 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ (9 cm x 13.3 cm) white layer so that they re-form the full image with small gaps between the pieces. It might help to add them with just a small amount of adhesive at first. This way you can shift and shimmy everything if needed to make it all look balanced. On my finished samples my gaps between my pieces are about 1/16” (.2 cm).
Clue #7:
Mount this onto the 3-3/4″ x 5″ (9.3 cm x 13.6 cm) black layer. Then add this to the front of the folded white card base. Attach your sentiment strip so that the right edge connects with the black cardstock border.
Clue #8:
Embellish with gems if you wish.z Stamp an inside sentiment if you wish.

Here are the other five finished cards I shared.
This one features the Choose Happy Stamp Set and the ink colors Calypso Coral, Lemon Lolly, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia.
For this card I added more ink to intensify the color. The images are from the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set and the ink colors are Fresh Freesia, Darling Duckling, Misty Moonlight and Strawberry Slush.
This festive card features the Cheers & Sips Stamp Set and the colors Lemon Lolly, Peach Pie, Pretty In Pink and Lemon Lime Twist.
I only used two blended on colors for this card: Flirty Flamingo and Crumb Cake. And the images come from Along These Lines and Blooming Phrases.
This last one that I put together with images from the Choose Happy and Blooming Phrases Stamp Sets include the colors Soft Sea Foam, Summer Splash, Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party.

Here is a super fun idea for a greeting card! I was inspired by one of Iced Images’ 5×7 creations. And I just HAD to adapt those measurements to work for the typical Stampin’ Up! size cards…4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

This year’s Stampin’ Up! OnStage 2025 convention was held March 13-15 in Raleigh (North Carolina, USA), Strasbourg (France), and Brisbane (Australia). I attended the Raleigh event – flew out on Tuesday, March 11 and back home on Sunday, March 16. And once again I returned with lots of creative ideas, inspiration, and great memories! I look forward to these gatherings each and every year.
Almost all those in our group arrived by Wednesday afternoon in time to attend our big team event that evening. This gathering gave everyone an opportunity to meet or reacquaint with one another, swap and gift each other, get photos, and create together.
Look at all those smiling faces. I absolutely love my group!!
Then the next three days were jam-packed! We received the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog which is always a highlight.
In fact we were able to preorder select items from this catalog and from another batch of Online Exclusives that are debuting at the same time…May 6th. I ordered and expedited a bunch of these items so they would be at my house when I got home.

Recognition of accomplishments and milestones is a big part of the OnStage event. This past year our own Kristie Strum reached her 5 year milestone! Hooray!
And Susan Campfield (my mama demonstrator…the person I got the starter kit through years ago) reached her million sales milestone!* So exciting!
I was recognized for a big sales milestone*….
…for earning the incentive trip, and for being a top achiever in leadership, team building, and sales.* YAY!!!
This was one of the boards on display sharing the US demonstrators ranking top in these categories this past 2024-2025 Stampin’ Up! year.* I feel very blessed to be among these amazing achievers. A HUGE thank you to all those who have connected with me and supported my business in some way!

Besides walks across stage and the ribbons, pins, gifts (that you saw me share in my video), Stampin’ Up! has a special VIP lounge for the attending demonstrators that hold the title of Silver Elite or above. So those that attended my Silver Elite Retreat in January (Cheryl Lee, Nancy Forsberg, Kayla Cory and Vy Tran) were able to enjoy this room where extra refreshments were served and relaxing seating areas were provided. I forgot to take photos of the actual room, but hopefully you get the idea.
Another fun way that Stampin’ Up! makes us all feel spoiled at these events is through prizes and gifts.
And we were treated to an amazing Welcome Party the first night that included refreshments and music via headphones (a silent disco).
These next few photos are of the large room where we ate lunch and created. The area in the middle (towards the back in this photo) is the Product Playground where we were able to explore and interact with products. Again, I wish I would’ve taken more photos of this area.

I designed a card with the Layering Leaves and Leaf Collection Stamp Sets recently. I plan to send this card to current achieving and new demonstrators in my Stampers With ART group. But I’m also going to create more of them, because the card colors and imagery make me happy. And I think these would make great birthday cards for family and friends. The card features embossing, punching, and a fun background stamp layering idea.

BTW…I recommend stamping your lighter color first so it sits more in the background. I stamped with the darker color first (since my stamp was already inked in that color) during my live class and it gave me a slightly different look…the yellow is definitely more dominant where the two colors overlap.

I gave you the heads up a couple days ago that I was going to share with you cards from my Silver Elite Retreat that I hosted the weekend of January 17-19. Today is when I’m presenting the first of those two sets of cards. One is an interactive “faker shaker” card (so fun and easy to make), and the other four I would consider “fun-fold” cards. And they all feature the fabulous products from one of the most popular suites in the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog.
I just showed live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these cards with those products from the Wildflower Birthday Suite and other coordinating Stampin’ Up! product. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post.
