Here is a super fun idea for a greeting card! I was inspired by one of Iced Images’ 5×7 creations. And I just HAD to adapt those measurements to work for the typical Stampin’ Up! size cards…4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

And this one is my favorite because the colors appeal to me the most and the drink looks the tastiest to me (is it a Mojito?).

These cards DO fold down to fit into A2 medium size envelopes.

I’m planning to give tips & directions for creating this style card in my Online Paper Crafting Class on YouTube this coming Wednesday, May 7th at 11 AM Central Time. And for those cards I’ll be using products from the new Beautiful Gallery Suite. I invite you to tune in if you are able (or watch the replay). But for now, here are measurements for the base pieces and layers for these cards.

Measurements…

  • Basic White Cardstock
    • 5-1/2″ x 9″ scored at 3-3/4″, 4-1/4″, 8″ and 8-1/2″
    • 5-1/2″ x 6″ scored at 2-1/4″, 2-3/4″, 5″ and 5-1/2″
    • 3″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 3/4″, 1-1/4″, 2″ and 2-1/2″
    • Scrap for die-cutting circle (the die that is a little over 2-1/2″)
  • Cloud Cover Cardstock
    • Scrap for punching circle that is 2-3/8″
  • Celebratory Sips Designer Paper (Pattern #1)
    • (2) 5/8″ x 5-3/8″
    • (2) 3/8″ x 5-3/8″
  • Celebratory Sips Designer Paper (Pattern #2)
    • (2) 5/8″ x 5-3/8″
    • (2) 3/8″ x 5-3/8″
  • Celebratory Sips Designer Paper (Pattern #3)
    • (1) 5/8″ x 5-3/8″
    • (2) 3/8″ x 5-3/8″
  • Celebratory Sips Designer Paper (large drink glasses)
    • 1 glass and maybe some accent images
